Hello, and I apologize if this has been asked previously, I have not been able to find a thread on this specific topic, and it might be weird/not possible.
Is there a way in the homebrew magic item creation system to set an arrow's damage to 0?
The ranger in my party just came across a pile of magic arrows and I want to have some fun with him. I would like to have an arrow that looks and acts liek a normal magic arrow, but deals no damage.
It is currently impossible for us to homebrew Magic ammunition in the homebrewer.
Arrows don’t have any damage rolls associated with them, the bows do.
It is currently impossible to adjust the base damage of any weapon in the homebrewer.
Yes, simply tell them to add normal Magic Arrows to their character sheet, and tell them to put an asterisk in the “notes” section for it but don’t tell them why. Whenever they attack with one of these arrows, when they roll damage and tell your their numbers say “uhunh” like usual, and then record 0 for the result.

Is this possible?
No for three reasons.
