With an hour of rest finished, the room around you and the long corridor outside still sits silent. You have the choice of checking the door to the north, or moving east down the corridor.
As the group starts to get itself sorted out following their rest, Garavant goes to investigate the door to the north, checking for traps, locks, and the like.
Gruenic stands up and beside Hreow, clasps his arm and says “Easy there. We will go together. Side by side we will fight through this. You won’t believe what we saw below.” He walks forward and sees Garavant listening at the door and waits.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Garavant hears nothing at the door, and sees no sign of traps.
(Assuming you open the door on this basis)
Inside is a completely trashed room; orcish graffiti and chunks of broken furniture abound. A few piles of bones lie scattered, and one dessicated corpse in leather armour - it looks like it used to be a female elf.
Garavant nods at Sila's inquiry. "Aye, I'm a bit worse for wear now," he says. "This is what happens when I forget about the 'move' part of stick and move,' I suppose."
Garavant wrinkles his nose at the sight of the dead body and the various junk in the room. Nevertheless, he enters and does a relatively quick scan of the room to see if something of value might have been left behind.
Perception 12
((OOC: Down 8 HP at 23/31, but I don't think I want to use the Potion of Greater Healing I'm carrying just yet.))
Gruenic steps up to Garavant and looks in the room, looking for anything as well. He says to Garavant, "I've got 3 more beginner spells that I can use, I can heal you if you need, or I can save them if we want. I'm gonna need a long nap and time for meditation soon."
Perception to search the room as well. : 5

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Sila pulls a cloth from her gear over her face and moves into the room and approaches the Elven body in leather and searches it if nothing distracts her attention before she reaches it. She checks the leather for its condition and gages its usefulness for the party knowing it that it would too much of a hinderance to herself to use.
(Using her knowledge with leatherworking to assess)
Sila thinks the leather armour would be usable by any humanoid of the approximate size of the current/previous owner (medium).
Garavant searches the room, with the bulky form of Gruenic trying to help but mainly standing on or in front of whatever his friend is trying to lift or peer under.
Nevertheless, the swashbuckler spots a glint pulls some debris out of the way; a coin purse dropped by the deceased elf and bulging with (counts quickly) 600 gold pieces.
Sila strips the leather off the deceased elf carefully and brings it along with them unless Garavant is interested and helps to separate out the gold into shares for each.
Gruenic is surprised by the gold that is found and a smile comes to his face. "What was the story there? I wonder where they got all of that gold. Good find!" He turns to leave the room, starts to check out the rest of the hall, continuing to walk down that hall.

(I meant to say - 50xp each for the skeleton fight)
You leave the room with the corpse and inspect the corridor. The two adjacent rooms are empty apart from more debris, so you continue east.
The corridor opens into a large chamber with a dark pool in the center. Bits of smashed furniture and other debris are scattered about the floor. Another hallway leads off to the east and a set of double doors sit to the south.
A weird moaning fills the area, slowly becoming recognizable as Dwarvish curses. The sound rises to angry shouting and grows closer. Then the translucent form of an armored dwarf appears through a wall and charges towards you!
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(some time back): Bree suddenly realizes she is invading someone's space. "Oh sorry sir, Hreow you said? You're welcome to join us. Hopefully we can help you find the redemption... At least, if you want us too."
She follows behind the rest of the party. She doesnt take to much interest in the room, seeing her friends inspecting it all thoroughly.

Sila considers whether she has anything that would do any harm to a Ghost trying to remember if she'd ever heard any stories of them at the monastery. religion3-> if this will not use up her action only
"What will hurt a Ghost? I haven't anything magical beyond shrouding it in darkness or silence ." She asks of the group frustrated that she isn't prepared for this sort of situation.

"Tell me where to go and I shall lead the charge!" Hreow exlaims, eager to prove himself to his new allies.

Sila moves up to Garavant and follows along the other two. "How are you feeling? You still look a little weaker than I'd hoped after that rest."

Hreow's attention is immediately drawn to the grafitiy on the wall to decern if it can give any clue as to what happened in this room.
The graffiti is crude and aimed mainly at insulting dwarven bravery and craftmanship; there is no obvious message that Hreow can discern beyond this.
Sila strips the leather off the deceased elf carefully and brings it along with them unless Garavant is interested and helps to separate out the gold into shares for each.
