Selene and Kiori are able to turn and huddle down enough to withstand the blast somewhat. Daerryl and Raadox both take the full brunt 20cold damage, half for the other two. You turn around to see Meepo frozen solid next to you. And crawling in the mess of the room, a large dog sized dragon covered in white scales. He roars, "You won't take me back to be their PET!"

Seeing Raadox and Daerryl fall to the icy blast Selene instinctively uses fey magic to create a wall of fire across the room between Calcryx and the party. (Silent image)

Daerryl death save 5 

The wall of flames leap up and you hear the dragon snarl, "You won't be bringing me back there. Friends of kobolds all shall perish." 17 3

You can hear him pacing on the other side calling out, "I shall freeze you all solid. You shall make a good start to my collection." 

Cure wounds to heal Daerryl before the dragon appeared: 4
OOC: not sure if this makes a difference at this point.

Kiori looks bewildered as two of his companions and their kobold guide fall to the blast "sure it is cold, but these people would not last a storm in the mountains." He will run towards the one that fell closer, either Raadox or Daerryl and lay his hands on them to heal them for 5 hp. Then stand in front of them, shield in hand, to protect them from the next attack.

Raadox picks himself up off the floor after being healed by the Goliath.  He winks at the man and leaps to his feet.  Suddenly he begins to sing.  His voice is loud, bold, and strong, but the tune is lilting and merry, the tempo fast and upbeat.  The words are in elvish and tell the tale of an ancient warrior from the High Forest.  As he sings he smiles his rakish smile and suddenly leaps into the flames to engage the dragon beyond!

Bonus Action:  Bladesong (+10 ft. movement, +3 AC [now AC 19], Advantage on Acrobatics checks, +3 bonus to Concentration saves)
Movement:   Stand up from prone, rush forward to engage the dragon.  He moves alongside it, if possible so as to spread out and make getting caught in a breath attack less likely.
Action:  Attack: 14 Damage: 6

Raadox heroically rushes through the flame illusion and his blade bounces off the dragon's hide. 

"Uh oh." 

Raadox smiles charmingly at the dragon.  "How magnificent your scales are, oh Calcryx the Terrible!" he praises the dragon whilst continuing to dance like an acrobat, trying to avoid the lash of claw or snaking bite he knows is coming.

Selene moves to the opposite corner from Raadox on the other side of the "wall of fire" and then unleashes a beam of green crackling energy towards the dragon.

Eldtritch blast:25 Damage:8

(OOC: As Selene is aware that the "wall of fire" is an illusion she would be able to see through it right?)

Daerryl death save 20 

The blast from Selene slams into the young dragon. 

He turns towards Raadox and growls, "You're brave. And foolish." He bites forward at you, Attack: 9 Damage: 6 piercing damage and 2 cold damage. 

Recharge 1

Kiori curses the dragon. The fight calls him, but a companion is still down "hang in there, Raadox!". He runs over to Daerryl and extends a hand over the gnome, casting cure wounds for 4 hp.

Raadox dances nimbly aside the thrust of the dragon's head, moving beyond the creature, hoping to turn it to face away from his companions.  "You are big and tough, dragon, but I'll wager you have never come across a Bladesinger from the High Forest before.  We have developed battle techniques that make us immune to your pitiful weapons!"  The graceful elf begins to sing again, his tune light and merry, his footwork complimentary.   At moments that the song crescendos he thrusts forward with his blades, seeking a gap in the lizard's scales!

Action:  Main hand attack: 13 Damage: 4
Bonus action: Off hand attack: 21 Damage: 4
Move: head around behind the dragon trying to turn it away from his companions.

 Selene stays in the opposite corner from Raadox on the other side of the "wall of fire" and unleashes another beam of green crackling energy towards Calcryx.

Eldtritch blast:24 Damage:8

Daerryl gets up clutching his head, and starts to run away, firing an arrow back at the dragon as he runs (all of 12 feet)

Attack: 9 Damage: 6 

One of Raadox's blades slips past the dragon. Daerryl, not knowing that the fire is an illusion barley lands a shot on the beast as well. Selene blasts towards it but is unable to get a clean shot as Calcryx positions Raadox between them. "Chain bringers. You shall all feel the wrath of dragon kind." 3

The dragon's mouth begins to glow with cold and ice as he turns towards the party. "Freeze!" I need everyone but Daerryl to roll a constitution saving throw.
