"Alright then, sounds like we are heading back to the Goblin camps. Do we need to sneak around the back again? Perhaps with the help of our smuggler friend. I don't think heading straight out of the gates of the city to their lines would look good. King Skrud should appear come from the hinterlands or mountains, not from a human city."
Laying out his large Carpet of Flying after having pulled it from his bag of holding, Randall says, “Sit at the front in the place of honor, Prince Skrud. We will sit behind you, and I will guide our flight out low over the water so we may approach the camp from any direction you wish.”
If everyone is satisfied with the arrangement, Randall will fly the party along the agreed-upon route, gaining some altitude as they approach the goblin camp so as to look more imposing.

(That's a much better idea than getting sea-sick once more!)
The wind isn't strong but as you all fly the circuitous route to circumvent the siege line your hair ruffles out behind you (depending on it's length of course) and it isn't long before you are approaching from behind enemy lines.
Skrud holds onto the front of the carpet but doesn't seem as troubled by flying as he was by sailing in a boat.
"Today is the day right? Skrud become king today!" perhaps it's the excitement keeping him from fully realizing flying could be as dangerous as sailing.

"A rightful place awaits you in the Realms Above, in the Land of the Great Light. Come in peace, and live beneath the sun again, where trees and flowers grow."
— The message of Eilistraee to all decent drow.
"Run thy sword across my chains, Silver Lady, that I may join your dance.”
"That was certainly easier than the journey by boat. Shall we proceed on foot? I suppose we should try to scout out the area and find the best way to approach Moocus. I actually have an idea that might help us".
Zenodor casts Scrying to try to gain some information on King Moocus and his whereabouts. (DC20 normally, but as Z has not met him, Moocus should get a +5 on his save I believe)

You see King Moocus inside a tent with several other goblins, they appear to be eating. Sometimes there is the odd comment met with a guffaw of laughter, and other times, more often, a snarled or yelled rebuke to something said.

Anything interesting that might hint at the location? Glimpse of the outside perhaps? If not, Z will concentrate on Moocus himself and his bodyguards. Anything that looks like magic items, protection, armor, etc. that might be worth knowing about before we try to take him on.
The only thing really different is that King Moocus wears a crown, all the goblins here vary only slightly from each other is what they wear, your best guess is that they are other chieftains. No one comes or goes in the 10 minutes you scry (and you don't speak goblin so...).

(Nevermind. Always wanted to use the Scrying spell and never had an opportunity, so just wanted to try)
Slightly disappointed, Z reports back to the group that he wasn't able to find out much, but that it appears that the Goblin King is currently having a feast with an assortment of other Goblin chiefs.
Well, it was a success of sorts, even with the +5 bonus to his save he failed and you scried on him for a while. Just wasn't all that much to find out really. (Not a fault of your spell or anything.)

You can all deduce from what you've seen of the camps and Skrud flat out telling you, King Moocus' tent is near one of the black tents, and like most king's tents will probably stand out from any others.

As you fly over some of the camps the goblins below run to and fro yelling and screaming, pointing and shouting. You notice the black tents that were burnt previously have been replaced. Finally you see in one of the larger camps (remember there are large, medium, and small size camps scattered about the landscape) a large pavilion style tent less than a hundred yards from the bigger black tent in this camp.
The pavilion style tent has a banner style flag flying above it that has a bear's claw displayed prominently and the tent's outside dimensions match up roughly with the inside dimensions that were scried.

Randall causes the carpet to descend slowly and majestically from the sky into the open area in front of the pavilion tent.
Calling down a bless on the prince and two more people from his necklace, Randall says, “Now would be a good time for preparation spells if you have them to cast.”

Zooming around on the flying carpet continues to agitate the goblins below into action, scrambling and shrieking and such. There's not much they can do, some fire their short bows ineffectually, arrows fall short, one actually hits another goblin who screams in pain and limbs into a nearby smaller tent.
