"Skrud know King Moocus have Bugbears for royal guards and some cloaked and hooded goblins for bodyguards. They have magic so must be wizards and sorcerers. King Moocus must be powerful if have Black Dragon work for him."
Skrud's shoulders slump as he looks down at the ground in front of his feet.
"Skrud could never kill King Moocus! Much too powerful! No! Skrud can catch bunnies! Make good stew! Goblins always hungry!"

"Do not worry my friend. We will help you and do most of the fighting. We can take the bugbears and other goblins. But we cannot make one of us the King of Goblins. The Goblin King must be a Goblin, so we will support you to become the king once we have defeated them."
(Even if making him King doesn't work, we will have still removed Moocus and his cronies - which we would have probably had to do at some point anyway.)
"To make this work, we will need a plan. Let us return to the city and inform the leaders what we have learned. We should also make fearsome armor for Skrud our of the dragon hide--if wearing armor made from King Moocus' slain ally doesn't make a strong statement, I don't know what will," suggests Randall.

Zenodor agrees. "Indeed. Let us make haste to the city and confer with the General and other city defenders "
Pepin is happy to go into the city, and to later go kill the goblin king. He suggests to go to the smith first to immediately have someone working on the armor for Skrud (and himself) and after that go to the leaders.

There is little problem to get through the gate into the city. It's not that it isn't held secure but you are lucky to have the same guards who let you out be on duty again when you arrive. After some greetings and questions, the standard fare and such, you are permitted entry.

None of them pay any mind to Skrud (disguised) and figure he must of been with you when you left and they just didn't notice him.
You are back inside the grand city of Laurentiis. Where to first? (There is no special relevance or anything of that kind, just want to know what order you are doing things in.)

Z agrees.
If there is time, he will make a detour to their lodgings first - where he expects Delzira to have a nice hot meal and freshly laundered clothes ready for him. He could definitely do with a wash. Ideally he will also shelter Skrud there and ask him to lay low. Probably best not to bring a Goblin to a meeting with the Generals on how to defeat the Horde.
Probably yes. I mean, we have our NPCs: Delzira the housemaid and Irraxan the imp, But maybe we should keep a PC in case Skrud is spotted and things heat up. Any volunteers. If not, Z can stay if you want to explain the Dragon events and the Kingmaker plan to the Generals.
Pepin ensures that on the way to their lodgings they make a stop at the smith where he asks the smith to work on a plate armor from dragon scales for him, and on a dangerous looking goblin halfling sized armor (thinking, better to not mention goblins) for Skrud. He will asks how much it will cost them and how long it will take with a mention that it is beneficial for the survival of the city.

"Do you know who or what Moocus has as body guards?"
(Also, we better think about hiring some long-term bodyguards for Skrud once we're done)
