Between Zenodor and Pepin's attacks you manage to finish off BGBG. The blue glow fades out like the dying embers of a fire and the books fall to the ground.
Only Book Golem 2 remains.
(Tempe is up. Zenodor is next.)

And with that the last of the golems made of books ceases to be as all the books that made up their body fall lifeless to the ground, some damaged more than others but all the books scattered all over the main chamber, plus those that were spewed as cones, now litter everywhere down here. Consider all areas to be difficult terrain.
(With the last of the golems destroyed the fight ends.)
You can all now level up to Level 14.

Ignis Tempestas, floats back to the group, "Short or long, rest? I suggest an hour." He attempts to find a clean spot, to sit meditatively, feeling a greater strength as he does.
It should only take you seconds to minutes to clear some books away and make a spot, the books are everywhere. That's why it's all difficult terrain now.

Pepin will help clear up some of the books to make a spot for resting, looking at titles as he does. Is there a clear theme or all kinds of books?

When you first arrived all the books were on their respective shelves. Now, once they have been animated as golems and moving around, and especially with the multiple 'cone of books' attacks they made... there's no way to figure out how they were sorted pre-combat. Your best guess is since there were 4 hallways of shelves there was maybe 4 categories, or maybe 8 if each side of each hallway was it's own category. Now it's a mess on the floor and even though you take a little time and clear a spot for a rest the ground down here continues to be difficult terrain.
@Zenodor
Don't forget, I am using the 5 min short rest and 1 hour long rest rules for this campaign. It makes taking short and long rests quicker, not slower. But only 5th level and lower spell slots are restored by taking a long rest this way. 6th level and higher spell slots require a proper night's sleep of 8 hours (or 6 and a watch of 2, which is 8 total).

(Z being a Warlock only needs a short rest to recover his few slots. So he's happy with the 5 minutes short rest. I was thinking more of some of the others)

Tempe cleans off a spot, but as he does he checks the subjects of the books, to see if any are important or a good read, stacking them.
"Perhaps, something important?"
