During al this talking Bow will take some refreshments from the natives and happily eats/drinks them while watching as the others talk. Waiting till they move on. Thinking about what the colonists will think about other people living on the island.

After, he’ll look to the others. “I think we should reach out to soldiers back at he landing site, then get to the business of clearing out these purple wraiths for good.”
You guys are free to begin heading back to get some soldiers for help.
Or you could attempt it yourselves which might be brave or foolish depending on how many Purplewraths there are?
But in all fairness, that 3rd level spell still has time left, I cannot cheat you guys out of it's duration. If you wanted to remain and talk with the natives. (You don't have to, and don't feel forced to, but there is still time left in the hour for the Tongues spell.
