Tempe walks towards the edge of the darkness shoots a few rays of radiant power Attack: 16 Damage: 6 Attack: 15 Damage: 5 then hauls butt back into where the darkness should be.
The magical darkness is now just a crescent wall in front of you all. Randall's weapon's light illuminates a section where you guys are grouped.

((Do we have advantage as unseen attackers due to the magical darkness? Pop out, shoot, hide back inside.))
Next rolls are with advantage; Will add the results of what they would be if they were straight rolls. Bow takes a couple of steps through the darkness, sees the creatures and shoots three quick crossbow bolts into the one farthest away. Before he walks back into the darkness.

ooc: Z Isn't your familiar the one that has the darkness spell on it?
That's right. It was cast on Irraxan to allow the Imp and the Sprite to scout ahead. However, Irraxan is now back with Z who has tactically withdrawn to the back. So both should be far enough back from the magic light so that they remain in the magical darkness (through which Irraxan and Z can see, but hopefully not the enemy)
OOC: As soon as Randall moves more than 15 feet past the darkness source, the darkness source and a crescent behind Randall will fall back into magical darkness.

ooc: as long as we have that weapon going it's probably a bad Idea to drop the darkness spell we can run in and out of the darkness

Both of your rays strike the Tentacle Monster.

What kind of tentacle monsters are they, now that we can see them? Kraken-like? Or like the plants we saw before? Or demons with tentacles?
Not sure if any of your characters would of ever seen them before, but for player curiosity they are Chuuls.
(Should of kept up the mystery but posted a picture,. )

He casts Blight on one of the two tentacled creatures.
Damage: 34 Necrotic
Saving throw: CON 15 for half damage
Bless for Bow’s attacks should add.a d4 to each of those rolls.
