The hatch is the same as others you've encountered, but it seems to be locked from the inside now. From your examination, there seems to be two deadbolts on opposite sides holding the hatch in place.

(I think two deadbolts are as "secured" as something gets)

With Cass's Guidance helping her just enough to get them loose, Gianna manages to unlatch the deadbolts and open the hatch. Under the hatch is some kind of magical barrier that keeps the water out and the air in, but lets you pass through into the room below. Just like the last two warships, there are three metal doors in this room.

The doors are solid steel, with a little peephole in the middle. Through each door, you see a hallway.

Tuna say "We probably need to find the engine room and disable it. That's how we forced the others to the surface if I remember correctly." If there are no objections Tuna will try and quietly open one of the doors that he remembers heading towards the engine room on the last ship.
