Val, when you run outside you have to go passed Merah and Ricster, open the doors wide, and run around the corner to attack your target.
In all that time, the guard who was standing in the tower to the North East that you all suspected may be spectral reveals that it is anything but with a blast of its goats horn the moment your blade falls. The low "dooooor" it let's forth is received by unseen ears with an echo of battle cries from the surrounding area.
While Valzire can see 2 orcs in front of him and the 1 guard above, an unknown amount of enemies also approaches from all directions!
Merah blinks as the dragonborn goes running past her. Well. She did say she wanted to fight, she supposes. Might as well bring everyone to them. So she shifts her crossbow into a better grip and turns to follow.

The Second Orc swung about with Val's stumble, saw Ricster coming, and smacked him with the butt of his spear as it withdrew from Val's armor. (Ric critical fail on attack roll)

Directly after when Ricster tried to get away, he simply pointed at the movement and altered the first orc to Ric's new position. (sneak unsuccessful)
The Guard at first began to descend the tower, yet halted on the step and returned to its post blowing the horn again, in a different sound. Something more hurried and blunt, yet repeated. "Dor. DOr. DOOR."
(Not sure why I thought you went up to him, my mistake. You're in the spot as you were before the new map, and instead of the orc hitting you with it's spear, your arrow launches too early, slices abit of your index finger, and misses. Take the same 2 damage)

They need to get that guy up in the tower to shut up. Merah knows that on almost an instinctive level. So she starts moving toward the tower. As she goes, she fires off a crossbow bolt at Orc2. But there's another one, too, and she finds herself flinging out a hand before she can stop herself. It feels like ice itself is in her veins, but then a long tentacle comes shooting out of the ground right in front of Orc1. Merah watches with wide eyes as the tentacle wiggles a bit before lashing out at Orc1.

Merha's crossbow bolt sailed across the battlefield but landed just shy of its target near the 2nd Orc's foot. Her mystical summoning, however, had far better luck and nearly killed the first Orc in an immediate and surprisingly violent grabbing, twisting motion. Things began to pop loudly but the creature wrestled free in time to save its neck and arms from being wrenched apart from its body.
Light flowed over Val and the healing energies began to seep into his skin.
Having escaped with its life, the first Orc made a mad dash for where it assumed backup might be coming.
Ricster's arrow rings true and strikes the orc in-between its tattered shoulder guard. The piercing tip digs itself deep into flesh and the orc turns around enraged.
With a mighty roar, the Orc charges Ricster looking for bloody revenge, its spear aimed low once again.
The third Orc now decides to run down the tower, and makes its way there. It's a little better armed than the other two, and Merah can see that its holding a Greataxe.

Now that Merah can see Orc3, she rethinks her whole plan. That's some serious weaponry that she needs to stay far away from. So, first things first, she uses this new magic of hers to send that weird tentacle chasing after Orc1, landing just north of him again. It lashes out as soon as it's within reach of the enemy. Then she makes a face and holds up a hand, aiming at Orc3. "Please, please work," she mutters as she closes her eyes and fires a single eldritch blast at Orc3.

Val's slice is not as well aimed as his previous execution and his target manages to knock the surprising steel back with the shaft of its spear.
The second Orc then rushes Val with its own spear aimed low.

The spear pushes it's way past his armor and deep into Val's body. Blood rushing down his body, Val gasps and stumbles under the assault
Ricster fires an arrow at the orc that is attacking Val then moves back a bit.

Think I'm up? Val is going to use 4 points of lay on hands to try and stay in the fight as his action. Hold his position and no bonus.
