Before sliding under the worg (if necessary to fit), Vernon says (in Deep Speech) "The last thing you ate may have been good, but I will be a gateway to the food of the gods. Cheese has brought me far, and it will take us farther, together, under the guidance of Mielikki!"
If it hasn't responded negatively, I will slide under, start the belly rub, and say (still in Deep Speech), "Who's going to be a good boy*? You are!"
Arisa callls out to the wolf “You Bite the gnome, you die- like your friend just did, I suggest you take his offer!”
Intimidation 8 (from the roller) -don’t know if you want to give a bonus considering the other wolf died pretty quickly!
readied action- if the wolf attacks the gnome; a ray of light shoots from Arisa’s hand- striking the wolf, and the wolf is surrounded by a glowing aura. She will then move 30 Feet closer to the warg.
Guiding Bolt; 17 to hit, 15 Radiant damage. Next attack gets advantage
The worg remains still as Vernon approaches, and it’s eyes shift back and forth between the gnome and his companions. It cocks its head curiously, as canines often do, when Vernon speaks, and hesitate at first, letting out a subdued snarl as the gnome attempts to slide beneath its large, gray furred body. However, Vernon’s movements seem to calm the creature, and it offers no resistance when Vernon moves underneath and rubs its belly.
When Arisa shouts her warning from across the square, the worg suddenly speaks quietly to Vernon, in an odd form of growling common.
”You are brave, gnome, I’ll give you that, and you you have gentle hands, but I don’t understand the gibberish you speak. What is it that you want, small one? Tell me why I should not eat you, or at least swat you aside?”
Vernon will repeat the speech in Common. (The first two sentences.) "...but that won't happen if one of us dies. As you can see, my companions aren't very inclined to let you live without me."
The worg answers in its growling talk. "You say riddles, gnome. I know nothing of gateways or cheese or Mielikki. Talk regular. Are you trying to take me captive?"
Vernon, now questioning Mielikki's involvement, says "Captive? I'd say 'partners.' Go new places, see more stuff, try more foods, die less, fight crooks, better the world, maybe solve riddles?"

The worg lets out a short, gruff short before answering the gnome.
"Partners you say? What's in it for me that I don't already have? I run where I want, eat what... or who I want, and I don't care about a better world. I care about what I get and when I get it. I don't think I want to serve an odd little gnome. There are plenty of goblins about if I wanted a master."
Just as he says that, an arrow flies from an area near the wooden building at the southeast corner of the square, targeted at Arisa. Attack: 14 Damage: 3. Caught off guard, the arrow sticks solidly and painfully in Arisa's left thigh. You briefly see the goblins who shot it, but after it looses the arrow from its short bow, it attempts to scurry out of sight.
As she grits through the intense pain in her leg, Arisa tries to spot the goblin who shot her. However, the combination of her own distraction and it's nimble movement, the creature disappears from sight, hiding somewhere near the building that appears to be the trading post.
Looking towards the other two goblins at the north edge of the square, she casts her fire bolt, but the mental distress from her injury hinders her aim, and the spell flies harmlessly overhead.

Belkas could not tell what the warg and Vernon were doing, but as there was no blood yet, he turned his attention to the goblins he could see preparing to fire their arrows.
He muttered arcane words while making motions with his hands, and the nearest goblin shimmered (hex as a bonus action), and then Belkas followed that up with his Eldritch Blast (action).
He then moved to get cover from the goblins.
-- (Hex, no saving throw I can see, bonus action lasting 1 hour with concentration, I choose that they will have disadvantage on DeX saves) (To hit: 1d20 + 5, 9 Damage: 1d10, 6, force damage, + 1d6, 4, necrotic damage from hex for a total of.... it doesn't really matter with that to hit roll)

Belkas casts his magic, but the goblin he targets is too quick and it easily dodges the blast of energy he sends at it. Belkas then darts back to gain full cover around east corner of the inn, out of eyesight of the two goblins.
Both of those two goblins load their bows and fire, one at Arisa, Attack: 21 Damage: 5, and one at Zyllith Attack: 21 Damage: 6, before scurrying and trying to hide in the grass at the edge of the square.
"Bloody green snot bastards!" Zyllith cried out as she turned her gaze to try to keep track of the ambushing goblins. She then turned and ran up to where the nearest goblins had attacked from, hoping to put an end to the threat from at least one of them.
(Perception - 14+3 = 17 she will attack the goblin she can see)
With her quick eyes and feet, Zyllith spots one of the goblins as it’s trying to hide and sprints over to kill it with a swift stab of her rapier. Meanwhile, Arisa, who took another arrow, this time in the gut, nearly doubles over in excruciating pain.
When it gets back to Vernon, he will crawl back out, stand up, and say, "If you will not make the world a better place, I will do it without you." He will then attack with his mace and brace his shield.

Veron, roll a Persuasion check.
Persuasion check: 13 + 3 = 16

Goblin Stealth check: 13 (Equal Perception check needed to spot it.)
You also notice two goblins lurking just off the northeast corner of the square. Both are fitting arrows to their bows.
(They're at the end of the initiative order, so Arisa and Belkas can go right now.)
Arisa cries out in pain, and turns to see where the shot came from:
perception to spot goblins:
23
if she spots a goblin:
fire bolt (the one who attacked her or any others she sees)
To hit:
11
Fire bolt damage:
2
well that sucked :).

I forgot she only had 9 HP. Seeing the goblins and the fire bolt missing- she says a word of prayer.
healing word bonus action:
7 hit points

Ok, top of the round. Zyllith, Osmord, Vernon are up.
"Bloody green snot bastards!" Zyllith cried out as she turned her gaze to try to keep track of the ambushing goblins. She then turned and ran up to where the nearest goblins had attacked from, hoping to put an end to the threat from at least one of them.

Sylnache Ashrain - 7th Sojourn
Arisa calls out in pain again,( realizing if it wasn’t for her spell she would have collapsed from this second arrow.)
With her quick eyes and feet, Zyllith spots one of the goblins as it’s trying to hide and sprints over to kill it with a swift stab of her rapier. Meanwhile, Arisa, who took another arrow, this time in the gut, nearly doubles over in excruciating pain.

Damage: 1 + 2 = 3 (if that somehow hits)
Vernon, who are you attacking?
The worg I just crawled out from under.
