Isa tries to shake the awkward feeling of being watched but just can't do it. "I get the funny feeling like we are being watched or something... I just can't place it, but this place is really starting to creep me out. I think we should all stay together just to be safe."

Emporious barely looks up from the book as he mumbles "yes, yes, lead on kind dwarf." As he follows Orvok into the mayors mansion, Emporious mentally calls Archimedes back from patrol to his shoulder perch.
Hearing Isa voice her unease reminds Emporious of his vulnerability. So as he follows Orvok into he pulls a scrap of leather feom his component pouch, trades the book he was researching in for his spellbook speaks the word "Artemis" and casts mage armor
Hino rounds the corner of the house, coming back around to the main entrance when she see's the rest of the group heading into the house. Hurrying to catch up, she regales them of the boringness of what she didn't find around back. She's let her guard down, based on how dull her senses appear to be (Investigation/Perception checks being practically zero), so she lazily follows them into the mansion, taking up the rear.
Dust covers everything in this wide hallway. Moth-eaten cloaks hang from hooks on the left-hand wall. To the left and the right, hallways branch off into the gloom. Ahead, a stairway leads up to the second floor, and a door stands beneath the stairs, seemingly leading to the back yard. Dim light filters in through the dust-covered windows, the only light within the house. The cloaks are too decayed to be of any use.
H2 - ASSEMBLY ROOM
Chairs are arranged in staggered rows with their backs to the door, facing a podium in the southeast corner. A sideboard sits on the left side of the room, and a bookcase stands to the right of the doorway, filled with tomes and knickknacks. A cold brick fireplace occupies the southwest corner. The sideboard is bare. The shelves in it hold glass tumblers, wine glasses, and small china plates, all covered with dust and rodent droppings.
H3 - MEETING ROOM
A round table with four chairs stands in the center of this room. Windows look out into the back yard. The fireplace in the corner is filled with broken masonry. A framed portrait hangs on the right-hand wall. This room is bare except for the furniture and a faded oil painting of a dark-skinned woman dressed in a cream-colored frock coat with a pale green cravat at her throat. Her dark hair is pulled up in an intricate twist, and she wears delicate platinum and diamond earrings. Her hands are folded in her lap. One finger bears a heavy platinum signet ring, inscribed with a snowdrop blossom.
H4 - DINING ROOM
This room holds a rectangular table with eight chairs. A sideboard sits against the far wall, with dusty ceramic serving dishes and bowls atop it. A fireplace is in the far corner. A search reveals ceramic plates, bowls, and teacups with saucers in the sideboard cabinets, as well as flatware and serving utensils in the drawers. The ceramics are well made but simple; the flatware is made of a silver-plated steel alloy.
H5 - PARLOR
The parlor is empty except for four wingback chairs situated along the left-hand wall and a desk in the right-hand corner beside the window. A fireplace dominates the southeast corner. The chairs are infested with rodents; mouse holes and droppings are obvious with a simple glance. A few crumbling sheets of blank parchment, a quill, and a dried-up inkwell remain here.
"Perhaps we can get an idea of a timeline for what ever happened here by checking the daily assignments." Says Emprious as he heads into the assembly room. He heads to the bookcase to check what secrets it may contain.
The bookshelf holds old and worn books, a small framed watercolor painting of a mountain range (2 gp), and a chunk of raw platinum ore from the mine (25 gp).
Recognizing income when she sees it, Hino doffs her pack, quickly unhooks then lid, and stuffs the chunk of platinum ore into it, before quickly clasping her pack back together and donning it over her back again.
H3-Meeting Room
Hino's curiosity gets the better of her, as she seems transfixed with the painting on the wall. Staring at the platinum ring with the snowdrop blossom on it...does she recognize the symbol? (History: 3, Investigation: 1)
OOC: Utterly useless, once again!
Hino starts pawing at the painting, believing the painted ring to be real, and trying to pull it down off the wall.
Isa moves along with the group still feeling a bit uneasy about the place. As they move along, she’s not so concerned with who grabs what but rather, she helps investigate the dusty remains and keeps an eye out for anything that could be dangerous.

Emporious simply shrugs again and tosses the rock back to Hino. " Thank you, but I'm much more interested in in the mystical than the material. But thank you Mav, I appreciate your sense of justice. Shall we check up stairs?"
As they walk upstairs, Hino walks behind Mav, and purposefully and playfully trips him when they’re walking. Kind of like a little sister annoying an older brother.

Good eyes! Aye, hard to tell at this point. Time has claimed a lot of this area...

Nope. There's no wildlife around here either.

Barbär squints his eyes as he watches behind everyone as they enter and also enters, walking backwards, almost guard like.
We might be being watched, indeed. He mumbles to himself, Moradin, please guide us...
