(ThunderFist tries to grab an orc and plough him through the ground head first, but the slappy orc bats away the barbarian’s hands and dodges the attempt.
The orcs look shaken, the numbers are even now; they try to regain the upper hand by finishing off a couple of adventurers.
Attack 1 on Stonelynn Attack: 15 Damage: 15

Attack 2 on ThunderFist Attack: 16 Damage: 13
Attack 3 on ThunderFist Attack: 17 Damage: 14
Attack on Diplomat Attack: 6 Damage: 8
Stonelynn and ThunderFist both fall unconscious under the rain of blows once more, and Diplomat takes a nasty hit which leaves the poor bear right on the edge of the abyss.
(Stonelynn's turn, roll a d20 for a death saving throw please)
Lhia Sabeuf Seriously contemplates some more ab crunchs or running away again. His abs have to be on point as he has a theatre audition in the morning.
Regrettably he decides against this and instead casts Aid on Stonelyn ,Thunderfist & Cackie.
Range/Area: 30ft.
Duration: 8 hours
Your spell bolsters your allies with toughness and resolve. Choose up to three creatures within range. Each target's hit point maximum and current hit points increase by 5 for the duration.

Disciple of LifePHB, pg. 60
Whenever you use a spell of 1st level or higher to restore HP, the creature regains additional HP equal to 2 + the spell’s level. (2nd level spell.)
Lhia moves 5ft to the west so that all his targets are in range before summoning the aid of his deity. A shimmering veil of divine light descends on ThunderFist, Stonelynne and Cackie, granting them 9hp each.
Stonelynn and ThunderFist both waken again, lying on the ground surrounded by orcs.
Lei-Tana unleashes a trio of magic missiles, taking down the badly wounded orc next to Cackie and injuring the orc south of Diplomat.
Elfa (using post 577) sees that her intended target is down, so swings north east and fires an eldritch blast at the orc that was just struck by Lei-Tana's missile. The beam sears away the flesh from one of the orc’s arms, leaving him badly wounded and close to death.
(Cackie’s turn, the orcs are looking very shaken at the loss of two more allies)
Cackie performs an athletic vault over Diplomat and spikes his sword through the wounded orc, killing it from behind. His follow-up improvised attack swings wide.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
A sound like smashing glass rang out as Thunderfist jumped to his feet once again (entering a rage once again) and looked at the orc in front of him, flipping him the finger with both hands.
He then proceeded to boot the orc and attempt to hit him with a stone cold stunner.

Orc-boi's Athletics check to resist ThunderFist's move: 21
The orc is an accomplished wrestler; he slaps away ThunderFist's grapple when he was facing certain breakage. Regardless of the setback for the visiting team, the remaining five orcs have had enough. They all take the Disengage action to avoid any opportunity attacks and run south west towards a large collapsed section of wall and then freedom.
(Effectively out of combat now, although you can pursue the orcs if you wish - they are about 30ft from you)
Stonelynn is relieved to have made it through the encounter alive although she is still in a lot of pain. She searches the nearby bodies hoping for a healing potion. Or Two. Or anything that makes this harrowing experience worth it!
Straightening up with a wince she looks around the temple ruins thoughtfully to see if she can work out where the shrine’s treasure might be held.
Cackie starts off after the orcs, trying to encourage the others to join him. There don't seem to be any takers, although Elfa does fire a bolt of eldritch energy which takes a fleeing orc's head clean off its shoulders.
Stonelynn leads the looting of the bodies and finds:
Four healing potions (decide who gets them)
Around 100 gold pieces (add 16 gold and 5 silver each to your character sheets)
Looking around the shrine's grounds you get an idea of the layout - see the map below and declare which room you wish to search, rolling Perception or Investigation as you do. Stonelynn can use her 22 roll for the first room she chooses to search.
Cackie looks for somewhere to take a short rest, to recover his ki. He heads for S8, feeling it seems the most "bedroomy". He still holds 2 healing potions, so leaves the others to share the spoils. Before taking a kip, he searches the room for anything of note (perception 22), has a suck on his sippy ale cup, and sits in the corner whilst fixing his toenails with his blade.
Cackie, Lei-Tana and Stonelynn enter the west room through a hole in its north wall. The room contains six beds with mouldy mattresses, the shattered remains of a wooden table and six chairs, and a soot-stained fireplace containing a rusty cauldron hanging from a spit. Apart from that it is unremarkable, and the three adventurers (plus any who join them) are able to rest up for an hour to tend their wounds.
Once rested, Lei-Tana heads for the east room. On the way she passes through the large central area (S7) and sees rows of crumbling pillars supporting a 40-foot-high vaulted ceiling. Humanoid bones litter the dusty floor, and a 10-foot-square hole in the ceiling leads to the belfry. No rope hangs from the bell, which appears to be made of untarnished copper.
Carrying on her journey, Lei-Tana enters the east room (S9) and finds what looks like a long-disused dining area. All the furnishings in this area have been destroyed, and part of the south wall has collapsed.
(You may carry on exploring the shrine. Remember to roll your hit dice for healing if you are taking a short rest)

Elfa takes two steps forward and fires eldritch blast at the Orc closest to Diplomat. She then takes two steps back
Attack: 23 Damage: 9
(Stonelynn rolled a 13 for her DST - a pass!)
(I now have two moves backed up for Elfa - no more please!)
(Lhia's turn, then Lei-Tana. Cackie can also post if he wants, but ThunderFist should wait a bit in case he is revived before his turn)
Lhia Sabeuf Seriously contemplates some more ab crunchs or running away again. His abs have to be on point as he has a theatre audition in the morning.
