As a reaction? No. Maybe the DM will let you retcon your turn (which we had taken to assume you just readied Misty Step) and we can say you had Misty Stepped and attacked/branded that Illithid, instead?

 (I fear that it will be an instant death for the Illithid. It will receive slashing damage from the Scimitar and Psychic damage from the brand. But we don't know its current HP status.)

OOC: Do you have any weapon that deals bludgeoning damage - as bludgeoning damage from a weapon/unarmed strike can be declared "non-lethal". There's also grappling, if you have the strength. 

Personally, I do allow houserule of anyone using a piercing/slashing weapon to also declare non-lethal but they are d4 on damage instead of what the die normally is, as they are much less effective used this way (the handle, the flat of the blade, etc). But this will be up to the DM if they want to include this or something similar.

(Maerwyn imbued the Double-bladed Scimitar with Crimson Rite and she can't use another to inflict damage since the Brand won't work. She can cast remove curse in order to save the Illithid from dying.)

Misty Step is a bonus action. Attacking is an Attack Action. You can do both on the same turn. Letting her do this would require retconning her recent turn, since she only readied the Misty Step and would be unable to do both.

Ooh interesting. I always thought it required bludgeoning damage. I must be getting confused with previous editions.

 We were thinking of using to Abyss to go to the Astral. Don't deny it, you wanted that. There's telepathic evil laughter sent to each party member.

Magron has decided to letter others do the telepathic talking for now, and looks at the glyph after Dusk finds it.

"Hmm, what could it be. Quiet often you see glyphs on walls and floors they indicate some kind of magic let me think if I know about this specific one"
