Lari raises his hand like a grade schooler. "One last question. Why us?"

"I sent my servants out to find those that might have the mental fortitude to resist the powers that this realm has. They chose you all, for a more specific reason you would have to ask them." As she speaks, larges cracks begin to form on her skin. She sways in place before falling to her knees, clutching her chest.

"Any one else?" Her voice come in between labored breaths, as bits of blue arcane magic flow from her cracked skin.

"What is the most important thing we should know or be wary of while we undertake this quest for you?"

“Byg’wigg understand. Byg’wigg shall be doing the succeeding! Super Lady-King was being wise to be picking Byg’wigg, for Byg’wigg known for supreme mental fortitudes! Byg’wigg know how to build many forts!” And Byg’wigg scampers down off the throne to the rest of them

"The dreams of others tend to bleed into this place often, when that happens you must either complete what the dream asks of you or you could try to simply wake the dreamer. Depending on the dreamer that last one could lead to quite a violent confrontation. I have servants still left down there that these cultist have yet to banish, seek them out if you have any other questions." With that the elven woman inhales deeply and then explodes violently into a cloud of black mist. The mist clears and she is gone.

You are all now left alone in this room. The door she opened beforehand remains open and waiting.

“You hear Super Lady-King, Byg’wigg is bestest so you be following Byg’wigg!  Let us be the going!” Byg’wigg begins marching towards the door.

"Hang on guys," Lari says. "I admit this Aurora is powerful, but how do we know we can trust her? There are cultists taking over this realm, whatever that means, and we are supposed to stop them. How do we know she isn't the leader of the cultists?"

Byg’wigg turns around to address the worries of his servants, his confidence fully returned, “Shshshs, Liar, let Byg’wigg be comforting you. Byg’wigg tell you what Byg’wigg father told Byg’wigg. ‘We burn bridge before we get there.’ So, what we be doing is we burn cultists! Cultists be bridges, they both be having I’s in name. Then Byg’wigg use wish to being the king!” 

Lari shrugs and replies, "We'll if I'm right, I'll get to say 'I told you so.' If I'm wrong, I get a wish from a very powerful being. Either way I win." He walks to the door Aurora opened.

"Let me go first. I'm probably the quietest and best at spotting traps. I need you all to survive so I can gloat later."

Lari peers through the doorway.

Byg’wigg scampers onto his shoulders and rides atop him like a toddler, “Byg’wigg also good at seeing things! Byg’wigg joining you!”

The door way leads to a well lit staircase that leads down about thirty feet into darkness.

"That's Scamps spot!" Lari takes the magical weasel out from under his cloak and tries to replace the kobold with the weasel.

"I believe Aurora is who she says she is. She obviously wields great power. I mean, it's possible that she is using us for some other end, but it really matters not at this point. We must carry on, keep our wits about us and learn all we can. If we need to oppose her, assuming we ever could, now is not the time."

 Scamp gives a short, sharp squeaky bark in surprise then calms down and trills softly.

"Oh you little traitor. You're a sausage rat," Lari says to the familiar.

Scamp jumps down and does a side to side dance while loudly hissing.

"Go home." Lari waves his hand and dismisses Scamp to his pocket dimension.

Scamp disappears.

"Now get off," Lari says as he try to wriggle free of Byg'wigg. Acrobatics check 18

Byg’wigg tries to hold fast, which I suppose is Athletics: 10, but is thrown free. “Bah! If you not favorite servant, Byg’wigg would be very miffed!” And scampers upon Dazzle’s shoulders.
