After watching the aft boat fall to pieces, Shanolia attempt to line up another dagger throw, however this one veers wide and lands in the open water with a loud splash. Cursing under her breath, she jumps onto the side of the ship and pulls herself up beside Woe, now with only a shortsword and rapier to her name.
Singe, thrashing in the water, flings three darts at the creature in front of him. Seeing the sahuagin squirm but not sink, Singe curses in primordial.
Singe hits the sahuagin for 13 points of force damage with magic missile.

Koll continues to attack the fishman. He spins his tonfa at the creature's head, but it ducks out of the way. Reversing his motion Koll brings his elbow back, hitting it in the side of its ugly face.
He sees the peril his friends are in afloat in the open water. "Swim!" he yells. "Get to the ship!"
Woe is looking at the broken boat pieces. This doesn't look good, I need to get that shark to turn away... She thinks to herself.
Again she concentrates on a screeching, whistling, dissonant melody, that she is creating in her head. Then she imagines herself throwing that melody at the shark. The shark shakes and squirms in pain, then turns to dive into the darkness again.
"Swim, swim for your lives!! You need to get onto the ship or you're not safe, that shark will return!!" Woe shouts out over the waves and the rain.
Then she quickly sings a sea shanty imbued with strength and heroism to try and help her friends. She specifically targets Lera to make sure she can fight off that creature that is threatening Singe and her.

Perrin, not excited to be damaged, lunges his short sword at one of the aquatic creatures but goes wide. He steps back Shield at the ready to defend himself and his allies.
The boat shatters, flinging Polly and her erstwhile protectors into the water. Zamar manages to keep his bearings and locate both the girl and the shark. As he readies himself for a pass, he hears Woe's haunting melody once again and knows what is about to happen. Please let this shark not have a strong will. As her song stops, the shark begins to turn and Zamar seizes his moment. Rapier poised in anticipation, he tries angling his kicks as he treads water such that he has the leverage he needs. As soon as he spies the side of the beast, he thrusts forward. The rapier passes through the sharks gills and out through its mouth. It gurgles once coughing up blood and, as the rapier slides out, it rolls onto its side and begins to sink. "I told you to visit the octopus' graveyard!" he shouts as it sinks. As the shark slides into the deep, Zamar makes a quick assessment of their situation. He can't help anyone over to the other boat. All that would do is leave more of them stuck in the water. He'll have to trust Mr. Drippy to watch over Polly.
He swims over to the rowboat and climbs aboard next to Shanolia. As he rises to a kneeling position, he hands her his dagger. "I think you can put this to better use than I can," he says. Glancing out on his friends, he can see Singe is engaged with another of those strange fish people. He will need to finish it or disengage to get to safety. He does the only other thing he can from his position, calling out to the mage.

Lera channeled a bolt of fire at the fish dude right next to her. “Come on you dolt, you seem like a regular fish out of water in this battle. Which makes no sense, as you’re literally a fish dude in the ocean,” she taunted.
Alton gasps, attempting to stay afloat in his heavy armor. "Help!" He gurgles, just before sinking down into the bloody ocean water.
The Sahuagin on Lera dives down and tries to pull Lera under. "Leave my friends alone!!" Polly screams, dog-paddling towards it. The weird that's wrapped around the girl tightens its grip and forces Polly underwater. Something that feels like heavy water is felt brushing up against Lera's leg and the Sahuagin emerges from the ocean wrapped in a watery appendage. It enters the creature's mouth, holding it above the water, and exits from the creature's eyes. Blood starts dripping from its eyes and ears and there's an audible *crack* as something vital breaks. Polly then emerges from the water, gasping for air, right next to Lera. The weird drops the creature back into the water and wraps itself around the girl once again.
Both Sahuagin on Perrin assault the halfling with teeth and claw. One is able to bite down on an arm and the other slashes a long line across the halfling's face. They barely notice anyone else around them as they continue their assault.

"Mr. Drippy, don't you dare try to save me again if it means risking Polly," Lera called over her shoulder before swimming towards her dad. As soon as she reached the boat with her dad, she tried to cast chaos bolt at one of the fish men, but in her attempts to not hit Koll she missed them entirely.
Seeing Perrin battling two Sahuagin at once, Shanolia sheathes the dagger Zamar had thrown her and pulls out her rapier with a loud metallic scratching sound. Running behind Perrin and towards to creature who hadn't yet recieved any attention, the Elf jumps into the air and brings down the tip of her rapier into it's shoulder, driving clean-through and shattering the pointed sword against one of it's bones.
"Damn it,"She curses in Abyssal, drawing her backup shortsword and standing behind Perrin for protection.

He is briefly reminded of the fish mongers in the city and their little clubs that they use to bonk live fish on the head to kill them.

Woe turns to the Sahuagin that's tearing at Perrin's arm, gesturing at it in an attempt to ruffle its fins, at the same time she weaves magic into each gesture to overcome the creature's mind. She fails to keep its attention and the creature ignores her, remaining focused on Perrin. (Vicious Mockery / Saved)
With Singe's help, Alton is able to break the surface of the water and gasp for breath. He attempts to swim forward, but his feet aren't able to propel him. It's fine for him though, he's just happy to remain surfaced! "Push me to the boat, brother!" He calls, splashing forward like he's swimming.
Polly keeps dog-paddling to stay afloat, but her experience in swimming is mild at best. She moves very slowly in the water, but the movement sets the weird off as if it could read her intent. As if she were a part of the water, she moves swiftly through it, the weird's pointed head leading the way. When she reaches the ship, she lifts her arm up as if to grasp the deck, but it's out of reach. Again the weird reacts to her gesture, wrapping itself around the deck's railing and lifting Polly up to safety. Her eyes go wide, though, when she spots three more fish-headed creatures emerge from the cabin. "Watch out!" She yells, pointing.
One of the emerging Sahuagin immediately dives off the deck and into the water, swimming low to stay out of anyone's sight. The other charges forward towards those that are on the deck, eyes on Polly as it snaps its jaws. The third, one whose large fins are glistening with shimmering scales, says something in their odd tongue and bolt of pure light streaks towards Woe. The light pierces her directly in the chest and there's an explosion of blood as it flies out the other end.
Perrin's sahuagin snarls, pulling Shanolia's rapier from its side and launching itself at the still bloodied Perrin. Its assault finds purchase on the halfling as its claws rip into the flesh under Perrin's armor.

Shanolia takes note of the three new Sahuagin as they enter, but doesn't let them distract her too long as she pulls Zamar's dagger once more from it's sheath with her left hand, her right still brandishing the shortsword expertly. Her attention breaks, however, at the sound of Woe falling to the deck, and she chances a peek back as Zamar pours a healing potion into her mouth.
Turning her attention back to the Sahuagin who broke her rapier, Shanolia slices with her sword, cutting through the midsection of the creature and making it double over as it's entrails begin to spill out. Hissing and spitting, the creature looks up at the Elf as she brings her dagger down between it's eyes, softly muttering to herself in Abyssal.
"Great Goddess, Mother of the Dark, grant me the blood of my enemies for drink and their living hearts for meat. Grant me the screams of their young for song, grant me the helplessness of their males for my satisfaction, grant me the wealth of their houses for my bed. By this unworthy sacrifice I honor you, Queen of Spiders, and beseech of you the strength to destroy my foes."
Once her prayer is finished, Shanolia kicks the Sahuagin's corpse away, pulling the dagger from his head and pushing past Perrin, moving farther along the deck and putting herself between Polly and the other Sahuagin the group needed to deal with.
With the fish creature out of the way Perrin temporarily stores his sword and uses his Paladin healing powers to heal himself before moving himself up next to Shanolia shield raised to help defend his allies.
//Perrin uses Lay on Hands to Heal himself 7 and then moves up to N21//
Woe gets up slowly. She has no idea what just happened. She saw light, her whole body exploded in pain and then darkness. Then she saw Zamar's worried face, pouring a healing potion into her, and she recovered. She cannot believe she is able to stand up again. She mumbles a little "thank you" then turns to the source of the attack on her.
She shouts some insults at the golden fish woman, but still feels that touch of death inside her and is maybe not quite loud enough for her to actually hear her...
Woe is not happy. If she cannot hit, she'll at least make her allies stronger. First in the line of attack is Perrin, so she is singing a quick little halfling rhyme that reminds him of his parents and that he has so much to live for and fight for.
After watching the aft boat fall to pieces, Shanolia attempt to line up another dagger throw, however this one veers wide and lands in the open water with a loud splash.
