Hamsha pops her head out to look around as you all press on deeper into the forest with the villagers. As you scope out behind you, the drow are no longer pursuing. Now might be a good time to take a rest, and then press on.
Arora was a bit concerned for Zhi, she had noticed him stopping often to catch his breath as they were all fleeing "Are you OK Zhi?" They were fairly deep into the forest and this looked like a good spot to rest, at least for a bit especially since there was no sign of the Drow pursuing them. "Let's stop here and rest for a bit"she suggests. "Daewen, get me in a little while and I'll take over keeping watch while you also get some rest."

Raza is thankful for the rest. She can see Zhi not doing well and she knows others have injuries like herself as well. She tucks up against a tree and pulls some rations out of her pack, breaking off a piece and offering it to Kasha. "You should probably change back into your normal form now, huh?"
Leaving the spiders behind on the other side of the river was one of the easiest decisions Mock's made in quite some time. As they trudged through the woods, still keeping up a quick pace, the tiefling had ended up scooping up a few of the smaller civilians, especially the kids who were starting to wear out. And she gets it. This pace sucks.
As the group starts to settle down for a rest, Mock drops off all her carry-ons before plopping down onto the ground herself. "Well, this sucked," she says. She debates a minute if she wants to clean her axe or poke at that spider bite. Or sleep. Sleep is great. With a shake of her head, she shuffles back to lean back against a tree, dragging her axe with her. "How long we stickin' round here?"
Raza puts her pack on the ground to use as a pillow and promptly lays down, jumping right back up as she momentarily squishes Hamsha in her pocket. "Ahh! Oh my God! I'm so sorry Kash! I didn't mean to lay on you!" She cries, fishing in her pocket for the little creature.
Hamsha lets out a shriek, or a squeak, or a scream, or whatever sound Hamsters make when they're ALMOST squished, and she begins cleaning herself in your hand like a hamster would.
Raza gently pets Hamsha in apology. "I wish I knew how to get you back To Kasha form, maybe Doc or Zhi would know, let's go ask." Raza gets to her feet to seek out Doc with her question about Kasha.
Zhisshikassa miserably trails after the party and drags himself towards the center of the camp. He begins lining out a trail of blood by driving a dagger through his palm and sprinkling it in a small, circular structure. He tiredly whips out his spellbook and begins muttering a curse, barely able to stand with the physical exertion. A shimmering wall of translucent force follows after ten minutes of muttering. He sighs and cuts a look towards the people who addressed him, nose held aloft. "I am fine." Zhi is a terrible liar. -2 Deception. It's plain to tell he's beyond physically exhausted. It's clear the scales-and-bones Yuan-Ti hasn't physically exerted himself to this extent before. He snaps his clawed fingers and dials up the thermostat before flopping down inside and curling up in a small, little ball to warm up. "The hut fits eight. It ends when I leave. Our enemies cannot enter or harm any inside - but we can return fire from within. Enter, if you must. The space is small, however - and I abhor physical closeness," he cautions. It's...a Tiny Hut. Eight people can squeeze in. Doesn't mean Zhi likes it whatsoever.
The temperature inside is very, very warm. The air is humid, too. Zhi apparently misses the rainforests he grew up in. Or maybe it's just the best for his cold-blooded muscles.
Nephvir watches in fascination as Zhi creates the tiny hut. He crawls inside, takes his pack off and has a nice rest. His dreams are haunted by dark spiders, evil faced Drow, and a laughing priest, hold up a glowing moonshard in his hand. His sleep is fitful, but adequate. He wakes up alarmed to find that he was spooning Zhi. He gets the shivers, shakes off and gets out of the hut.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
For those of you who take watch, the night is cold and spooky, but no Drow or giant spiders are in sight. It is clear they have either decided not to continue the pursuit..
Raza gently pets Hamsha in apology. "I wish I knew how to get you back To Kasha form, maybe Doc or Zhi would know, let's go ask." Raza gets to her feet to seek out Doc with her question about Kasha.
Doc wanted to collapse and pass out as soon as the group stopped moving, but he knew he had to check on everyone first before he could do so. Putting on a brave face, he breathed in deeply before walking towards the first captive and checking on them, making sure that they any issues worse then a few scraps and bruises were taken care of. He would give everyone a full review once he there were somewhere safe; hopefully at this manor they were next headed to.
While he was working, Raza approached him with her question about Hamsha. "I think we have to wait until she either feels like reverting or is injured enough and is forced back." Doc replied as he thought back on Kasha's file. "Though, Kasha is rather... unusual, so it may work differently for her..."
Nature check to see if Doc knows anything about druids: 14 (probably knows a little with that roll)
Arora settles in and watches Zhi as he performs his spell to create a tiny hutusing some blood - what's with this snake and always wanting to use blood she thinks to herself. It's painfully obvious that he was lying through his fangs and forked tongue about how he was doing, but.... Arora was just glad that he and the rest of the group were able to get some rest. I'm sure he'll feel better in the morning she thinks to herself, at least he knows we care. Arora simply leans back against a tree and enters her trance state of rest and takes her watch when Daewen comes to get her.
The night is cold but uneventful. As the team begins to rouse, she stays in the shadows and keeps watch. We best get going soon she thinks to herself, those Drow could catch us at any time.

Raza awakens the next morning with someone's knee in her back. She shifts around, patting the area near her head to find Hamsha and make sure she is ok. Fortunately, she is near the door and can exit without much issue. She wanders around the camp for a bit, checking on the villagers while eating one of her rations, waiting for Zhi to awaken. When he seems to have a moment she approaches him. "Zhisshikassa?" She taps him on the shoulder. "I need your help with Kasha. Do you have a moment?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Completely invisible, Daewen spent watch creeping around camp and surrounding areas. The darkness is where she felt most comfortable, so she was quite at-ease in these dark woods. She did manage to extend her exploration a league in multiple directions, finding a more secure route to the civilian’s castle (Survival: 6), before returning back to camp and waking Arora for her turn to guard.
While Mock loves her team, she really does, there was no way she was cramming into that tiny magic hut with them. Not tonight. She sleeps with her back leaned back against the tree, axe laying across her lap. It's a solid night's sleep for her, and you could probably hear her snoring softly throughout their rest. But now she's awake, and she pushes to her feet. A small grimace flickers across her face as she takes in their group. She wipes it away quickly enough, replacing it with a bright grin, and she claps her hands together.

Daewen withers into the shadows, becomes invisible, and takes first protective overwatch of the group as they rest.

Hamsha sniffs at the food and takes it, slipping back into your pocket and eating it, but doesn't give you any indication that she understood you.

Hamsha was curled into a little ball deep in Raza's pocket. When she woke, she displayed a mighty yawn and began sniffing the air.

"Galekin Estate. It's only a day and a half away." one of the villagers said.
