Raza's face is full of righteous fury. "This is against all that is right and holy Zhisshikassa! Kelemvor will not stand for it and neither will I! I may not be a Doomguide but I will still do as He commands and destroy any and all undead!" She moves toward the creature. "You get rid of it or I will!" She demands.
Hearing the commotion behind her Arora turns around to see the skeletal abomination that Zhi had summoned/created and instinctively draws her swords ready for a fight and the realizing that Zhi actually 'called' it here "What the hell Zhi?!"she looks around quickly for Mock... she's still down the path a ways behind them taking in the beauty of the fungal forrest "Mock will rip that thing to shreds, you KNOW she hates undead, as do we all... get rid of it!" She looks at Doc "Talk to him will you?! This is getting out of hand!" she growls.
Seeing the undead skeleton shamble next to Zhi, Doc expected to feel pressure from his Celestial patron to destroy it like he had felt with the demon creature. Surprisingly though, he felt nothing from them; it seemed that his patron truly only hated devils, demons (and the Drow of course). Seeing some of his squad's reactions to it though and worried that it would ruin squad cohesion, Doc sighed and walked away from the house and headed over towards the interaction, ready to stop it.
"It would not..." Doc replied calmly as he stepped up towards them. "Zhi. I think for team cohesion and efficiency, it would be best if you released the 'creature' under your control and returned it to its final rest before things get out of hand..." Doc stared directly at him with his glowing radiant eyes and hoped that the implied threat of a team mutiny would convince him to reconsider.

Zhi abruptly halts and turns around at Raza's words. His cobra-like head rears back, lips tightly pulled in a sneer. His crimson eyes meet Raza with an almost condescending look on his face. It is clear Zhi is unafraid of Raza at all - he barely even makes a move aside from beginning to speak, hands calmly folded behind the back of his dark blue robes.
And then Arora begins to speak. Zhi's jaw snaps shut as his ice-cold gaze shoots into Arora. Zhi doesn't back down - in fact, much like an actual cobra would, the hood around his neck begins to expand. Again, Zhi seems entirely unafraid of the combined forces of Raza and Arora. The skeleton simply watches, motionless, at Zhi's side. Once Arora finishes speaking, he opens his own mouth to speak-
And then Doc interjects. Zhi rolls his eyes and casts a sideways glance at the person deemed their 'leader'. Somehow. Oh, the issues that would be solved if Zhi had ultimate rule - as he should. His vertically pupiled eyes narrow and flicker back and forth between the three. No, the odds weren't good. Even worse - Zhi feels something inside of him. The look of anger on Raza's face, the look of horror on Arora's. It was dangerously close to something like remorse. Zhi pushes the thought away. This was not a time to care about the feelings of others. Zhi didn't understand them anyways.
He pauses. For a moment. He looks between the three. And, eventually: "...very well." He dismissively waves a hand - the recently animated skeleton crumbles into another vague heap of bones. Zhi folds his arms and stares adamantly towards the three. "I...apologize," he speaks, voice bitter and face twisted as if the words are poison to his lips. This is the first time you've heard Zhi apologize for literally any reason. As if regretting saying something so soft already, Zhi narrows his eyes and stares towards Doc. "Know that I am fully in control of the beings I summon. I do not pretend to understand what each person defines as 'good' or 'evil' or whatnot - I believe in being efficient with my work, and if whatever celestial you bootlick to demands I stop summoning creatures to help, so be it. Know that my powers are significantly diminished in that case, so I urge you to reconsider. I can banish them as easily as you," he seethes in an attempt to make up for actually uttering an apology. "In any case, we are wasting time and resources. We should move on from a house with nothing usable in it."
"You know what's evil? How many knives I had to clean last PB&J."Kasha blurts, scratching her eyes. After a moment, she nods once as if she made a huge point, and casually walks over to Raza, playing with her tail.
Arora didn't back down as Zhi spoke, her eyes narrowed, she was ready to remove the skeletal creature by force. This pompous snake treats us like he's better than anyone else... he had no emotion and had know care or concern about others other than their usefulness to his success. Idiot she thinks to herself. Then the unthinkable... he uttered an APOLOGY! What?!? This has got to be a first! I'll definitely remember this one she thinks. He dismisses the skeleton and then continues to ramble about banishing.... still the same ole pompous Zhi. She re-sheaths her swords and turns around with a glance back to Doc "We best keep moving"she says in a cold commanding voice. She continues to lead them down the path.

Daewen silently chuckles to herself. Dead. Undead. These fools have no idea what the nine hells they're talking about! Their lives are like flickers of a candle...being snuffed out in the blink of an eye. If they only knew. If...they..****y...knew...
Shaking her head in disbelief at the short sidedness of her teammates, she marches up to Arora and gives her shoulder a friendly punch, before marching side-by-side with her, leading the group further down the path.
Raza glares at Zhi, not backing down this time, her tail slicking sharply back and forth. She is done cowering! Especially in the face of such blasphemy! When he releases the spell and the creature breaks apart she slams her rapier back in in it's scabbard and turns around, stopping short when she hears what she never in a million years thought to hear. An apology. She turns back around for a moment and nods at him in acceptance. It's all she can put forth at the moment, her ire still high. With a last flick of her tail she heads back to the others, ready to carry on.
Ropey lianas hang from the fungal canopy far above, swaying in the mists that pervade this region of the Fungi Forest. The fog circulates and wafts away toward the north, pushed by warm air currents rising from the south. The ground is rampant with wild-growth mushrooms sprouting upon mushrooms. Tendrils from the canopy obscure vision.
There are places in the Fungi Forest where springy mushrooms grow so large and close together one can traverse the forest by jumping from cap to cap. This is one of those times. The bridge at AREA 6 has been destroyed, and one must bounce on the mushroom tops to reach the other side.
Here's the mechanics.
A character only needs to make a Strength (Athletics) check when vaulting from mushroom to mushroom if they are running or harried. Since, at the moment, there is little risk of missing a jump with normal, careful travel, the check’s DC is only 10. Failure indicates the character’s jump falls short; a successful DC 13 Strength (Athletics) check allows a character to grab the far ledge and avoid a fall to the forest floor without suffering damage. You only need to make one vault roll.
Arora looks down at Daewen and puts her hand out for a little high-five. She leads them on with Daewen at her side. As they approach the the bridge she notices that it's broken. The tops of the mushrooms tower above and look like they could be used to traverse to chasm "Looks like we can jump across using the tops of these overgrown fungi. I'll go first"
Aroraletics: 25
Arora bounces across like Mario in Mushroom Gorge in Mario Cart. "It's easy"she calls back to the rest.
Kasha's eyes brightened watching Arora bound on the mushrooms across the chasm. She let out a loud squeak of delight and climbed up on one, getting a running jump and bouncing, too.
While Zhi maintained the mutual glares being thrown around - he wasn't one for backing down - Zhi clearly isn't in the best of spirits. And not in the angry way, either; his shoulders have slightly more of a slump than usual and he seems more despondent than his angry self.
He shoots a look at Daewen. The creepy one from the Shadowfell or wherever. Always obsessed about immortality. Well, Zhi straightens up slightly - provided he gains enough arcane power, he would find a relatively simple way to achieve it. The knowledge of himself having that ability - and nobody else here - appealed to his prideful side.
He lets out a defeated snarl as the only evident pathway forwards seems to be through the use of strength. He is practically a noodle. "Always tests of the physical..," he snarls. Does the universe have any consideration for the mentally focused?
"Despite our...disagreements, I will twist fate in the favor of everyone as they pass." A pause. A snarl. The usual. "Unless you decline my spells affecting you. In which case, you are more than welcome to fall to your deaths."
Provided most are across, Zhi gathers his pride, casts it once more to favor himself, and ungracefully does his weak-ass best. Athletics: 14 + 3 Athletics check to snag the edge of the...mushrooms? 17 + 4
Zhi dramatically flails atop a few mushrooms, clearly unused to actually using his muscles beyond basic movements, and awkwardly careens over into the chasm - and abruptly crashes to the ground with a few snapping sounds as rather brittle bones break. He lets out a gurgle of pain as blood begins to trickle from the corners of his mouth.
Zhi ungracefully weak ass falls to the ground, taking 15 bludgeoning damage, provided he can't get 10 or higher. If he does indeed fall, he lands creating a comical small shockwave of spores like in Looney Tunes.
Raza sees Zhi tumble to the ground and immediately her countenance softens. "Oh, Zhi." She whispers and heads in his direction through the mushrooms to make sure he is ok. She can't heal him but she can at least be there, even if he's a grouchy jerk.
Before making her jumping attempt, Daewen ambles up to the edge of the crevasse and peers down into the deep, wondering if anything interesting might be down there. Oh well, for another time.
Catching back up to the others, Mock lets out a small cheer at the mushrooms ahead of them. Yes, this is right up her alley. She's been having more fun than she probably should in this fungi cavern - but it's at the cost of actually paying attention to the others, it appears. Mock grins and follows right after Kasha, bouncing from mushroom to mushroom with a laugh.
Arora watches as Zhi attempts to bounce across... the humor of watching him ended in horror as he fell to the forest floor. "Oh my god"she whispers to herself. "Zhi, are you OK? Someone check on him!"she yells out.
