Mock kicks at the vine before crouching down and studying it. Pokes at it with the head of her axe; she's learned not to touch things with her hands by now. Waits for some kind of reaction. "Huh. Living plants. At least it's different than yesterday's undead. Keep things interestin'." Rising back to her feet, she takes a look around at their surroundings - gaze not even hesitating on the wolf, just accepting it as something new - before clapping her hands together. "Well, since 'Rora's still got the trail, let's go see what else kinda trouble we can get into, yeah?"
She allowed Raza to pet her, and come closer to nuzzle her roughly and demand more pets.
Raza laughs at the attention and and gives her friend some hearty scratching on her ears and neck, loving the feel of her. "You're fur is fabulous, Kash! You ready to go?" Raza asks, pointing down the trail.
As you all press on following the trail, the cold wind whistles through the trees on either side of the road you've found. Sometimes the sound changes, as if creatures are out there, watching you all. The Old North Road curves sharply to the east, but in this light that sharp curve could only be a short bend. Enough footprints from a small crowd remain, having churned up the dirt in the road. With no light ahead, it’s impossible to tell how far away the quarry might be. It’s clear only that they were here recently, and that there were several of them.
As they move along the trail, the wind howls through the trees, it almost sees to change from one side to the other as it blows. Kind of makes me feel like someone is watching us, she shrugs it off. As they approach the bend in the path, Arora stops "Lot's of fresh footprints here" she mumbles. She kneels down in the dirt inspecting it closely.
"This wind reminds me of when the spirits are upset and all they do is cry and moan." Raza waits with Kasha to see what Arora and Daewen find as they are much better at tracking than she is.
Zhisshikassa visibly tenses up in irritation as a chilling gush of wind sweeps through the area. He casts a nasty look to the sky above and snaps his fingers, igniting a thin sheet of flame that envelops his palm. He huddles to himself as the greenish flame crackles, casting wary looks at Kasha. He wasn't a fan of loose cannons - and people who couldn't control themselves were the most dangerous.
Rather than waste his effort glancing around the area, Zhisshikassa instead flickers his forked tongue in a whisper as he twists fate to the benefit of Daewen. A hissing whisper floods her mind as the world suddenly becomes more clear for her as a result of Zhi's escapade into the future. Take a Guidance.
Taking up the rear as tended to be his usually position when the squad was all together, Doc took a moment to survey the two paths in front of them, interested to see if he could gleam anything about where the Drow might've headed.
You can tell that there's two paths. One that leads straight, and one that goes to the right. Both have heavy footfalls. Kashwoof perks up as Zhi gets close, and she emits a low continuous rumble until he is out of her space, which, you're not sure how big that is.
Up ahead on the path that leads straight, you notice that somethings are buried in what appears to be some sort of superficial depression in the road about 25' x 25' square.
"Hey everyone hold up a minute..." he began quietly as he spotted the unusual shapes, "There's something buried up ahead." he added pointing to the subtle depressions near the bend in the turn. Deciding to test out a theory, Doc closed his eyes for a moment as he and summoned a spectral golden hand (mage hand) before lifting a small rock from the ground and dropping it up ahead (OOC: in the 25' square area) to see what would happen.

Arora stands up again and moves over toward Doc, she pats him on the shoulder "Nice catch Doc! You are proving to make yourself very useful!" she says as she laughs a bit. "We may have more work for you..."

Arora quickly looks to Raza "Hold onto Kasha, we don't want her running on ahead chasing after the aberration that Doc just created."
"Got i--well, crap!" Raza yelps as her fingers brush through Kasha's fur as she leaps away. "Kelemvor will be pleased at how many undead we are vanquishing!"
Neph slaps his head with his palm and says “Got it. Take car. Go to mum's. Kill Phil, grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?“

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Daewen, still invisible, must have been enraptured by the flowing trees and the weird new wolf-pup following them to keep apprised of the situation ahead of her. Finally snapping to, she quickly and quietly sprints up to melee attack the new zombies that appear-

She licks your face after some more nuzzling, and then, obeying, puts her snoot to the ground and starts sniffing.
Onward.
