Probably could've avoided it or at least surprised attacked it if we weren't such a large group... Doc sighed internally, frustrated at his suggestion being ignored. At least it wasn't undead this time. He'd dealt with enough of those for at least the next few days.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Mock starts to dig down for her rage as she advances on the owlbear before remembering yesterday. She'd been outta rage near the end of that day, and who knows what's awaiting them down this road? Maybe it'd be better to save it for now... See? She can learn, albeit slowly. So she just charges ahead, axe raised above her head.
Raza brings her bow up, drawing back the arrow right to her cheek. She releases the arrow as she breathes out. Her aim is on today as the arrow tags the beast.
Raza goes up to Kasha. "If you keep eating like that you're going to get a tummy ache." She looks over the body for her arrow but sees it was broken by the beast's fall.
With a huff, Mock puts her axe away and twists her torso around a bit to test out that newest soon-to-be scar. "Thing packed a punch," she says, but she doesn't seem that fazed by it. She's been hit a lot harder by things a lot bigger, and, well, that's sort of what she's meant for with the group - taking the party's hits. So she throws a thumbs up at them all. "Everyone still cool?"
“We best keep moving” Arora suggests ”many owl bears have mates and I would rather not meet this ones mate, especially after killing this one.” She sheaths her short swords and again checks the ground to ensure they still have the trail. “They are headed this way” she states, “Come on, we can’t be far behind.”
Arora proceeds to continue to follow the trail.

The unmistakable sound of a wide river gurgles just ahead. Though the night is dark and the water stretches beyond your sight, it is obvious the stone bridge that once crossed here has been destroyed—large sections of masonry break the water’s surface near the riverbank. The bridge on this side of the river has become a steep ramp descending directly into the water. Anyone who intends to cross the floes must do so by flight, by braving the frigid water, or by jumping between the treacherous stones where they break the water’s surface.
The stones are old, damp, and slippery. A character must succeed on a DC 13 Dexterity (Athletics) check to jump between the stones. Characters must move at half speed while on the stones.
Seeing Diresha halt abruptly at the sight of the water she goes back to her. "What's wrong Kash? You don't like the water?" Raza scratches the side of her furry head, just under the ear. "I don't care for it much either but we have to cross. Maybe you should be two legged Kasha again?"

Poochie tackles the owlbear and begins ravenously eating it's corpse. Combat is over.
"Everyone still cool?"
Diresha makes a guttural noise at Raza after she speaks and continues to eat large chunks of the dead owlbear in a very ravenous manner.
Trying to denote a sense of urgency, Daewen urges the team to move on quickly, in order to catch up with the escaping Drow.

"Time to go Kasha!" She waves her tail as she walks by the wolf, hoping to lure her away from her current meal. "We've got drow to catch!"
Diresha nips at your tail playfully, following along. When it comes to the river, Diresha freezes and doesn't go near it.
NO. NO. NO. NO. NO.
Seeing Diresha halt abruptly at the sight of the water she goes back to her. "What's wrong Kash? You don't like the water?" Raza scratches the side of her furry head, just under the ear. "I don't care for it much either but we have to cross. Maybe you should be two legged Kasha again?"
Kashpooch whimpers loudly, pacing back and forth looking at the water. She shakes and paws at her head like there's something on her face.
