Nimblefinger attempt to remain hidden in the underbrush next to the party  He looks at the halfling with interest and readies his bow as he tries to make out who is following him.

Williwaw's wings buzz excitedly as she zips up into a tree near where the Halfling came out.

Six bandits emerge from the bushes a few feet ahead on the road. They stop for a second as they see you standing with the halfling, then they draw their scimitars and charge at you.

Seeing the Bandits with scimitars drawn, Nimblefinger drops all thoughts that they can talk their way out of this situation.  He decides there will be time to figure out exactly who this halfling is later, after the fight is over.  He draws back is bow and attacks at the lead bandit.

Williwaw hurls her boomerang at the lead bandit and flies in behind the trailing bandit for an unarmed attack (with her bonus action)

Grimm takes aim the chatty bandit and fires his handbow before loading it in a blink and firing another with his bonus action.

Williwaw takes out one bandit, and Grimm takes out another. Four bandits are still standing. It's Bethany's turn.

Bethany seems a bit surprised when the party starts attacking immediately. "If it is what we must do..." After a nod, she pulls out her warhammer and advances, holding her shield in front first, though, when she finds an opportunity, her hammer swings for one of the bandits.

Attack: 25 Damage: 15 Bludgeoning

Scales hisses, runs up and stabs with his rapier. Attack: 16 Damage: 5

He follows that up with his hungry jaws bite attack. Attack: 1 Damage: 2 He gains 2 temp hp if it hits.

Bethany takes out the fourth bandit and Scales badly wounds the fifth. (Gaining 2 temporary hitpoints) The remaining bandits attack.

Bandit attacks Bethany: 6 Damage: 7

Wounded bandit attacks Scales:  11 Damage: 7

Rhenwi's turn.

Rhenwi Enaid will fire a bolt at the bandit engaged with Bethany.

Grimm takes aim and fires two crossbolts at the near remaining bandits.

Nimble draws his rapier and lunges towards one of the bandits locked in combat with Bethany and Scales.

The halfling watches in astonishment as the brutish thugs are defeated in a matter of seconds. "That was... Incredible! Thank you for the wonderful performance! This makes escaping a lot easier. Now if you excuse me, I have to keep running." The halfling turns around to leave. He seems anxious to be on his way.

"Some with some strength mind grabbing her so we just ask some questions?" Grimm shouts about the fleeting figure as he keeps an eye out for most dangers.
