The next morning, Hjolmond wakes up early as he always does. Some would say a little too early, but as he saw it, it was never too early to give blessings to Moradin. He is careful not to wake up his sleeping second cousin twice removed and makes his way downstairs to the smelting room.
He walks over to the pit and stokes the fire, he could already hear Master Brodeur hard at work on the anvil. Without saying anything he starts melting the pieces of silver he had on hand. This work was going to take some time, it may be months before he was finished with this weapon. But that was fine, all praise to Moradin, most works of art took their creators months if not years. He smiled as he poured the melted metal into the next smelter. This silver was to be pure if he was to bless it with Moradin's touch.
"Just another climb, one more dig,
Look at this emerald, isn't she big!
Blessed by today, to create for light,
Gone are the enemies, who hide in the night..."
He sings to himself as the sun starts rising. Banging out this last piece of metal he decides he should probably stop and get Gully up. If he didn't, that blasted cousin of his would sleep the day away! And they had plans, heroics needed to be doing and they need to be doing them!
He washes his hands in the basin, says his goodbyes to Master Brodeur and stops by the makeshift shrine to Moradin he made all those years ago. "Blessing to you, my lord. And to me friends, as we set out unto the unknown. Praise be to our creator!"
With that, he walks upstairs and kicks the gnarly creature on his floor.
"Wake up, you lout! We have work that needs to be doing!"

Vohana also woke up early the next morning, and quietly headed out of the room she shared with her brother, leaving him to sleep. She found herself an empty table in the tavern and began to pour over the scrolls she'd been given the previous day. As she did, her mind began to wander, thinking back on her childhood with Myth. The biggest mystery of her life was her life, and how she came to be with the Elven family. She daydreamed, as she often did, about what her real parents might be like. Did she fall off the wagon as her family traveled? Did they abandon her? Was she missed by them? She loved her Elven family, her Elven parents the only ones she'd ever known. Myth was the greatest big brother she could ever have wished for and never wanted to lose him. Vohana was grateful for everything they'd done for her, as it had made her the person she was today. But the big question always lingered there, in the back of her mind. She sighed, and went back to work, preparing herself for the upcoming mission.
Myth rolls over and looks around....not surprised to see his sister is gone. She's probably found herself a comfortable corner somewhere and is curled up with all those scrolls she got yesterday. Her thirst for knowledge sometimes overruns her need to even eat sometimes. Myth gets up, gets dressed and packs, for they have a long day ahead of them. He heads downstairs and spots Vohana doing exactly what he thought she'd be doing.
"Mornin' Vo'" he says as he approaches the table "find anything interesting in those old scrolls yet?"
Vohana looked up and smiled as her brother approached. "Morning! This is all basically exactly what we were told yesterday, just with longer language that would bore you. I'm just highly fascinated with this sword. Can you imagine the things we could do with it?" She sighed happily, starting to lose herself again in the daydream, seeing herself holding this magnificent blade and wielding the power it gave her.

Ruvenel went to bed very late, or was it very early? He dreamed of that fateful day not so long ago, the day his whole life changed. He woke after only a couple of hours in a cold sweat with the sound of battle in his ears. He heads back to the tavern trying to decide whether he wants to find something to put in his belly to dry up the rum, or if he wants to drink more in order to muffle the sounds of the screams.
He sits at the bar and gets ready to order rum. "No," he says quietly to himself. "I ain't runnin' today."
Louder he says, "Ya got any o' tha' bread from last night? The older and harder the better."
"Aye, cousin. Blessings we shall have. And I think we are to meet at that tavern then head off to meet that orc-sized human." Hjol walks over to Guldrum and grabs his ax. "The blessings of Moradin shall guide this blade, to make sure we all see another blessed day."
"Moradin's blessings will take you far, dear cousin. To the tavern!"

The adventuring party eventually all meets at the tavern where bread and cheese is to be had for breakfast, there is also milk fresh from the utter. After breakfast the group heads to the famed tower of Elminster Aumar together so as to gather their mounts and supplies.
Outside the three story vine covered tower is a cart with all the supplies requested, and tethered to a nearby steed post are the mounts that were promised, save for the giant lizard which was hard to come by (on such short notice). Instead a pink skinned, mostly hairless, horse takes it's place.
Attached to the front of the cart is a note that reads:
Adventurers,
I managed to get my hands on the goods you requested, quite modest for such a large group such as yourselves. This gives me a good feeling, it tells me you believe in your own skills to survive. I apologize that I could not be here today but other pressing matters take precedent in the realms. I hope this note finds you well and that once you have finished reading it your heart will swell with the inspiration that comes directly before a great journey. Until we meet again may Mystra watch over all of you.
P.S. If you are some bandit or raider that has come upon this cart, please walk away now or face a most unpleasant trap I have placed on the goods. They are for far better people than yourselves.
OOC: So the supplies you requested are all there, please make sure to add them to your character sheet. No one explicitly said who was taking the Three healing potions if I remember correctly, so that needs to be determined as well among the party. Once we have that sorted you guys can discuss which route you'd like to take. I have made a table to outline basically what you will be facing depending on the route and the speed you choose to travel. We will assume once you have chosen a speed that it will remain that speed for the journey. You will have two options, traveling primarily by road, or traveling first through the forest and then by road until you reach the destination.

1.5 Days of travel through the Forest
Here are some other factors to consider:
Each day of travel is considered 8 hours of actual travel, 8 hours of long rest, and 8 hours of downtime activity
Each hour of the day while on the road there will be a check for random encounter, the roll will be a d20 with an encounter happening on a 1 or 2.
Each hour of the day while traveling through the forest will be check for random encounter, the roll will be a d20 with an encounter happening on a 1-4.
Note: Not all encounters will be a fight :)
Note: Due to Ranger being in the party:
When you forage, you find twice as much food as you normally would.
Can't get lost except by magical means in forests.
Even when you are engaged in another activity while traveling (such as foraging, navigating, or tracking), you remain alert to danger.
While tracking other creatures, you also learn their exact number, their sizes, and how long ago they passed through the area.
When the party is stopped there will be an encounter check rolled twice during downtime and twice during long rest. Only a 1 will result in an encounter
Vohana read the note then turned to Myth and promptly smacked him across the thigh. "See what you did? They shaved a horse just for you!" She walked over and rubbed the horse on the snout. "It's okay, we'll just have to make a sweater for you or something. Let's see... what should we call you? Bubblegum? No, that's not good enough. Rainbow Bubblegum! Myth! Your horses name is Rainbow Bubblegum!"
((OOG Hjol will hold on to a potion, I have healing but I may run out of spells and need to heal one of you up. lol ))
"Aye, we got what we need, now let us go into the darkness and bring into it some light!" Hjol walks over to the pink horse and looks it up and down. "Well, this is a first. Have you ever seen giant mole rats? They burrow deep underground, they have the same color as this creature. Not as handsome either."
Hjol climbs on the back of the cart and waits for everyone to be ready to set off.
