Bonleo's blade slides into the spider like butter, it begins to squeal in pain but is silenced by a final twist of the rapier!

With a single mighty blow from his Barbarian hands Guldrum severs his foe in half!

OOC: Vohana, it is your turn! :-)

OOC: There are still three spiders left (map) :-)

The three bolts of arcane force strike the spider, each one pushing it back a few feet until the last strikes between the spiders 8 eyes causing it's head to lurch backwards onto it's thorax. It slumps to the ground dead. 

OOC: Ruvenel you are up, I misspoke on my message to Fire, there is only 1 spider remaining. :-)

Ruvenel points his crystal at the spoder. "Zap!" He cries as a shocking bolt (fire bolt) arcs toward the remaining spider. Attack: 18. Damage: 1.

The shocking bolt arcs from Ruvenel's crystal to the front two legs of the spider, the spiders legs go numb from the electricity that coursed through them, but somehow manages to stay standing!

The spider see's the odds are not in it's favor and turns tail and begins heading back up into the dense canopy above. (OOC: Ristra you have an attack of opportunity against the spider)

Ristra's swing goes wide as the Spider high tails it away from her and heads back up into the tree.

OOC: The spider is now concealed in the canopy above. If anyone would like to continue chasing it down we will break initiative and narrate. Good job everyone! Everyone gets 45 XP!

Myth groans from his position on the ground "What the hell was that....."

Myth looks at Vo and says "then who would keep you safe sister...." and he'll manage a weak smile

(OOC - I will say - these last several encounters have really started me thinking about what ranger path we would benefit from the most - if we make it to level 3)

"As long as we're together...nothing we do is stupid....now help me up...."

(I've been considering going paladin and warlock to be more tanky, but I think 1 cleric level will help more.)

Ruvenel keeps his eyes and crystal pointing up at the canopy to make sure nothing else is going to descend upon them.

"I'll be fine Vo....I just need to catch my breath." and Myth smiles at her, he doesn't know what he do without his sister

Hjol just kneels there watching the back and forth between the two "siblings". It was a little weird. it was just some spiders. And they routed them rather quickly. No need to get emotional over a mid-fight nap. If anything, Myth was the lucky one to get some shut-eye! He will help the gnome lift her kin off the ground, two short make a right, don't it?

"Yer alright, elf. Just a scratch, nottin' ye can't shake off." Hjol looks at his hands and back at the fallen ranger, "Maybe me lord can be grantin' me something to help keep us all afloat. I love craftin', but it seems our skins need more mendin' then our armor."
