He followed mostly in silence, mace still in hand, thoughts about how many books they could find for Durnham and satisfied with the fact that the most uncertain part of their journey was already behind them. Sure thing, this was Eiselcross and by virtue of this alone they were far from safe. But they had Orvo. That dwarf’s knowledge of the ways there and back to the outpost where the closest thing to a guarantee anyone could have to return safely. Things will go well, Kotar said to himself as they reached the door.
The goliath nodded his head in agreement to leaving the beast sounding creature alone. One could say it was cruel to leave it to wither, but if the fight with the snakes was any indication then it was best to avoid anything so hostile sounding. Behind the next stone they met the armor that to this point he feared encountering.
“Anytime, Durnham.” The fighter responds rising the maul. The wizard made good use on the spell, defeating one of the enemies before it so much as had a chance to fight. The second one lied on the ground, something Kotar was eager to explore. He advanced at full speed, unleashing an attack as soon as he could.
Notes: Kotar uses his movement to get in melee range and attacks with the silvered maul.

Qidira looks at the one on the ground thinking it should be disassembled quickly to prevent it returning, but she trusts the Dwarf's wisdom and rushes forward to attack the one still standing. Moving swiftly then out of the way towards the large anvil for cover as much as she can knowing the others would be fast behind her.
She slashes at knees first with Shortsword then dagger hoping to take best advantage of any distraction by her companions with a sneak attack.
Kotarbrings his maul down on the disabled suit of armour, creasing the chest piece with an undefended blow (19pts damage for the auto-crit)
The other suitadvances on Kotar from behind and lashes out with steel fists at the goliath's back:

Slam 2 Attack: 12 Damage: 6 bludgeoning
Qidiraskirts around the melee and attacks Suit 2in retaliaiton for its attack on her friend. The shortsword glances off the hardened steel but the fine blade of the Aeorian dagger cuts through a weak joint in the shoulder and wreaks havoc.

Seeing Qidira’s shortsword glance of the suit of armor, and with his own memories of the lessons of his sergeants in Bladegarden, Brandon realizes the heavy armor would turn away his blade. He steps back away from the others, toward the cold furnace, to give himself some room and calls forth dark shadows and green swirls of energy as he releases an Eldritch Blast at the armor.
Attack: 8 Damage: 3 force damage targeting suit 2.
Ressys rushes into the room to stand next to Qidara. His body again changes into the shape of a large Dire Wolf (BA combat wildshape). He then tries to bite the armor next to Qidira.
Attack: 25 Damage: 21 piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.
Brandonappears to slip slightly on some rubble and his eldritch blast misses the target, impacting the wall behind.

Qidira, (if dm will allow), speaks up before they move towards the downed but intact armor suit. "We may have time to study it before it possibly reanimates. Possibly figure out how to use it? We have a few minutes, yes?"
If able she moves forward quickly to study it for markings of any kind that would indicate what animates it. arcana check ? 10
The maul fell like rain and sounded like thunder upon the enemy. It tried to hit bak, slamming its arms against the goliath, but Kotar stood his ground, taking each strike. With the protection of the splint armor, he was unharmed after both. Then came his companion’s attacks. Qidira, Brandon, Ressys and Durnham finished the construct with ease. The druid’s attack the most impressive of them all. Their demonstration of strenght was such that the fighter almost felt stupid for ever doubting that they would conquer those ruins. I underestimated us, a mistake but one still better than underestimating the enemy. That was his solace.
The gnome was the first to speak after the fortunately one-sided battle. She made him think of something that up to that point he had completely ignored – the fact that those armors were treasures on their own right.
“I think that at worse we could take their metal plates. We could sell them.” At least he believed their could, but his knowledge about trade was far from reliable. “Or, maybe, just maybe…”He continued timidly, like a child unsure about to asking for something. “We could use the plates to make a humanoid armor. Not this one is not very good. We don’t need to that.”
(correction to post, she does not attack it but studied it quickly on her turn to see if she could determine anything about it - rolled terribly above)
Durnham's fire bolt slams into the inert suit of armour, melting some of the joints and causing a foream to fall away from the body.
Kotar and Qidira pause in their attack to discuss and study the armour, although find little new information; it is well polished and finely made, but nothing else.
“Perhaps we can sell it, or salvage some of the armor for our own use, but let’s make sure whatever is animating it is destroyed first.”Brandon replies to Kotar and Qidiria and steps forward, driving the point of his sword into the gaps of the downed suit or armor.

The head of the Dire Wolf swiveled around and seeing the other armor down on the ground he knew enough magic to know that it was at best disabled but not finished yet. then then pounced on it, teeth rending the armor.
Ressys' wolf muzzle clamps tight on the disabled suit of armour and swings it wildly, scattering plates and links. By the time the wolf-shaped druiid has finished, the final suit is completely dismantled.
(Congratulations, combat over! Great move by Durnham to disable one of the suits straight away)
Qidira moves to disassemble, if she is able, the armor and store it in the bag of holding for possible sale value later. (unless anyone wants to examine it further)
Brandon looks down at his sword in dismay, it failed to penetrate the armor even when it was motionless on the ground. “I need to find a way to get weapons more suited to the task. Well done, Durnham, disabling one of the suits early. Made it easier to take down one at a time.” He was grateful to Kotar and Ressys for delivering the bulk of the damage. He was getting used to seeing the druid transform, even if it was still a little surprising at times.
Brandon moves to help Qidira salvage what they can of the armor, taking special care to see if he can make use of one of the breastplates. He almost forgot about the legs sticking out of the rubble until Durnham went to investigate. "Careful, make sure that one is really dead."
Ressys shook his whole body, the stress of the combat leaving him. He then sat on his haunches and watched the others. He chooses to stay in wolf form for the moment.
