You return to the door to the room that contained the mystery creature, silent now, and push it open.
As you open the door to this debris-filled room, a humanoid creature made of pieces of stitched-together flesh stands before you. The monster’s body is covered in wounds, and broken pieces of bone stick through its skin at odd angles. It seems to have been in a slumber, but the movement of the door snaps it from its meditation. The creature utters a howl and charges towards you.

Durnham is on his toes, anxious to try his spells. Maybe it was the adventure… or the journal and the secrets it held. Whatever the reason he was quick to pull out the small diamond and begin focusing on it, drawing the heat from the area and focusing it into the diamond. He then points his wand at the creature and says “Forzare!”
Level 2 Chromatic orb: 6 spell attack for 25 fire damage.

“What manner of foul experiment is this?”Brandon mutters as the stitched together creature appears. Brandon shoulders his way past Ressys and moves 10 feet into the room, closing with the monster and slashing at it with his sword.
(Qidira will should Durnham's inspiration roll not prove beneficial)
On her turn...
Qidira wriggles cold fingers casting faerie fire on the unfortunate creature then as a cunning action hides along the doorway edge or just inside the room wherever seems feasible.
Durnham'sball of flaming arcane energy smashes into the monster's chest; stitches pop and flesh starts to melt under the intense heat.
A split-second later Ressysinvokes the raw power of nature to summon a shaft of radiant moonlight. The beam bathes the creature from above, searing away skin and leaving crackling musculature smoking heavily.
The beast looks unfazed despite the heavy damage being inflicted upon it, and looks merely curious when Brandonrushes in and runs it through with his sword.
In that moment, the monster is bathed in feyish (is that a word?) sparkles of colour from Qidira'sspell, making the construct's body glow with a strong lilac hue.
After a brief discussion they decide to check the vault. Opening the door they find a creature that looked vagely human. Its body parts looked stitched together, sizes mismatched, bones protruding unnaturally. Undead, his memory of Ferol Sal tells his mind. Indeed this thing would be a danger to anyone exploring the vault in the future. As his friends showed new spells the goliath let a smile take his lips for a moment. Then his face became a mask of stone, emotion giving place to an expression of the deepest concentration.
Kotar extended his senses beyond then and there, seeing with the eye of his mind how would it be if he moved differently. How would it feel. At the same time, he focused on each and every sensation his body felt. Grey energy starts to emanate from his body, as if it was smoke. Then it jumps flows, fast and strong, in front of the Echo Knight. It takes the form of a translucent version of the warrior. An ashen version of the fighter, standing with its ashen halberd at the ready.
“My turn now.” He says with an excited voice, raising his shield, drawing his sword, advancing and slashing against the flesh golem in tandem the echo and its halberd.
Notes: Kotar uses his Manifest Echo feature to create an echo 10ft in front of the golem then moves towards the enemy and attacks with his sword. With the attack action taken, Kotar spends his bonus action to Unleash Incarnation (use marked on Kotar's sheet) and have the Echo make one attack with the halberd against the enemy. Rolls on the campaign log.
Kotar's Attack: 19 Potential Damage: 7 slashing.
Echo's Attack: 25 (Nat 20) Potential Damage: 3+ 9 + 3 slashing. (After the Nat 20 DDB didn't let me roll only 1d10 to damage. Given our crit homebrew I'm putting here the rolls and letting the damage to the DMs discretion.)
The bright moonlight of Ressys' spell sears into the monster's skin as Kotar sprints towards it.
The goliath seems to split into two, his mirror-image running alongside hime and striking at the monster in perfect unison; a vision of the move that Kotar could have taken.
As both strikes land heavily, the monster suddenly snaps alert as if waking up. Its muscles tense in rage and it starts to lash out angrily at Kotar and Brandon (targetsd randomised out of game)
Attack on Kotar: Attack: 20 Damage: 15 bludgeoning
Attack on Brandon: Attack: 18 Damage: 14 bludgeoning
(Durnham's turn)
