Clayton looks up to the creatures, removes his hat, and nods gently, “Nice to meet y’all. My name’s Clayton Pendragon, and currently I’m possessed by Shagambi.” Clayton steps into the entrance and will look around for a key, while also keeping his eyes on the creatures.

The two leopards back away, three little cubs appear from a nook and stay close, following them. They allow you to pass, and while eyeing you all, do not do anything aggressive. There is no key on the upper level, but you can see the arena, pit, and statues below down the stairs.
On other parts of the shrine, you can see carvings on the walls of Shagambi overseeing Chultan warriors as they train with spears and swords.
Steps descend into a 15 foot high moss-covered room. Four statues of Omuan warriors stand in alcoves to either side, overlooking a barred gladiatorial pit in the floor.
OBJECTS OF NOTE:
- Each statue in this area looks like it was meant to hold a spear, but its weapon is missing.
- On the far side of the chamber, a stone pedestal stands conspicuously bare.
- A relief on the wall behind the pedestal shows a monstrous jaguar with six snakes protruding from its shoulders, fighting off a squat frog-like humanoid armed with a spear.
- To the left of the relief is a narrow tunnel with stairs leading down.
Clayton, the snake inside you squirms in communication: The wall relief depicts Shagambi fighting Nangnang the Grung. The incriptions below, which, again, you can read, tells in Old Omuam a story of how Nangnang stole Shagambi's spear.
The adventurer with Nangnang's snake in it's belly feels dizzy and nauseous, as Nangnang can detect it is in Shagambi's shrine. =P Yasei, that's you, right?

Nope, Yasei is common law cohabiting with Kubazan, a Froghemoth.
Ah, ok. Well, however is cohabiting with Nangnang isn't feeling too well.
So we have the statues, the gladiator pit, the stairs down, and the pedestal.
The gladiator pit is about 20 feet deep and the bars are spaced 2 feet across, so be careful not to fall in. The stairway down, and the stairway up are the only ways to proceed.
OOC: Have I not gone down the steps? I thought that was how I got to the arena. If there is lower levels, I’ll continue down. I thought I was the bottom

The shrine picture is the top middle one. You can see the monolithic entrance, the little steps leading down, and the passageway to the right, and the wraparound passage area on the left.
If you guys want to proceed down, I will describe it, or now that you can kinda see a map and want to do something else, let me know.
OOC: And is that dark-grey area in the shrine the gladiator coliseum thing? If so, I will return my Greatsword to my hand, change it to a Heavy Crossbow, and enter the area.
The dark thing is the pit in the middle of the arena. The pedestal is above it on the map. The mural is on the wall behind it. The pit is about 20 feet deep, and the walls are very smooth. The bars are spaced apart that a medium creature could easily fall in.

Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.

It seems like a stone key should sit on this. Other than that, nothing happens.
Clayton transforms his blade into a spear and would like to place it into one of the statue’s hands.
