Cyrillus, you don't notice any other creature or being in the small chamber. There does not appear to be any other living thing in the immediate vicinity, as no noise is even heard down the mineshafts.
Brilyn, the goblin is able to wriggle out from your hold and run toward the end of the chamber, though he's still cornered. The goblin then lets out a few loud screeches that echo through the mine.
(OOC: You can. If anything, the goblin will be easier to tie up now than before, since he's closer to a wall.)

Sigh.
While Lord Darcio and Brilyn bind up the screeching goblin, Gorgo will move beside Cyrillus and listen to see whether the goblin's cries have generated any commotion or sign of greater activity deeper in the cave.
Perception 1
He will attempt quiet conversation with Cyrillus. "Does Cyrillus think returning gold will make Gorgo and his friends heroes in the eyes of the community? Statues commemorating Gorgo would be nice, but town is somewhat remote. Gorgo is concerned townsfolk may have struggle when they seek to spread word of our greatness...."

"Enough!" Lord Darcio exclaims as he loses temper with the annoying goblin. He whips out his rod and sends a purple beam of crackling energy streaking towards the goblin. Eldritch blast:11 Damage:9
(OOC: I´m sorry but this goblin had it´s chances to survive, at least according to Lord Darcio, and should be stopped before warning the others, which I realize possibly is too late)
The beam of energy hits the goblin in his shoulder, and he jolts back for a moment. He lays down now, in shock and not moving much. He's breathing heavily, and his clothes seem to be smoking a bit from the blast. The goblin's eyes are wide with surprise as he processes what has just happened, and for once, the goblin is quiet.

"Now let´s try this again shall we." Lord Darcio says in an irritated tone. "And don´t try anything or I will finish what I started goblin." He adds and gets to work meticulously tying up the goblin Survival:19 presumably with help from Brilyn.
Assuming the goblin gets tied and gagged Lord Darcio turns to the others. "Apologies, I hope he didn´t reveal our presence to the other bandits. Let´s continue." He says and nods to Brilyn to proceed down the tunnel.
Perception trying to spot those traps with help from Azrael:12
As the goblin falls down Brilyn checks the goblin and ties him up as hes breathing heavily. Do not move again. She says to him.
After standing back up she unsheathes her rapier. If the goblin spoke the truth we will be outnumbered as expected. Taking one last look at the map before tucking it in her belt. Most should be coming from the large cavern. Gorgo and myself will take the lead. Watch for traps.
Brilyn will move forward carefully checking for traps as they move and wary of any footsteps that are coming towards them.
Not sure if needed to tie up the goblin: survival 18 Perception for traps 6 (perhaps others can spot from afar)
Alasse jumps as the goblins screeches. She looks down the mineshaft to see if anyone is coming up. As Darcio blasts the goblin she flinches. Under her breath she mutters, "Part of the job. Part of the job."
The goblin is tied up far easier this time, and lays on the floor of the chamber, staring blankly at some of the gold pieces.
Brilyn, you don't spot any traps on your way. However, Darcio, you spot one of the devices from earlier in the cave, which consists of wood tied together with powder on it. It's next to a support post, as the one Brilyn found was.
After you round another bend, you see the final stretch of the mineshaft. It's quite long, and at the end, you see some torchlight. But in front of that torchlight, you see the dark silhoutte of a figure, standing in the entrance to what you suspect to be the main mine cavern. The figure's deep and cryptic voice carries throughout the mineshaft well, echoing past you. "I hope you enjoyed your lives. They'll be over soon."
Gorgo stands alongside Brilyn at the head of the party. At the appearance of the silhoutted figure, and the abandonment of any pretense of subterfuge, he visibly relaxes and stands a tiny bit taller. He continues his casual pace toward the figure (whether or not Brilyn joins him) and he rolls his shoulders and cracks his neck to either side as we walks.
(How far is it between the party and the figure, and between the party and the opening to main room?)
"It is not in your destiny to end Gorgo's life, or the lives or Gorgo's companions. Gorgo would demand you surrender... but after the day Gorgo has had, Gorgo is looking forward to this." He draws his spearpoint along edge of his shield, making an irritating noise. "Battle has come to you, Thief In Shadows. Account yourself well in your final moments, and earn yourself a place in the Song of Gorgo!"

(I'd say about 250 feet from the party to Gorgo, and the party is about 300 feet from the entrance to the main room. A half-minute jog or full-minute casual pace would get you there)
The figure laughs. You see a spark, and there's something aflame in the figure's hand. After a moment, you realize it's a bow and arrow with a flaming arrow nocked and pointed at one of the wooden support posts. "Don't come any closer. A quick death by the mine caving in is one far less painful than a long death by blade."
From a while ago (in conversation with Gorgo): Cyrillus thinks for a moment - it would be best to not gain too much renown but to be appreciated and welcome somewhere would be nice. "I think helping the town is the right thing to do but perhaps we don't need them to commemorate us. That all seems like a bit much though I don't know what is customary where you are from."
When the goblin screams and is hit, Cyrillus looks at it with disgust. Making threatening eye contact with it as it is tied up.
Now, Cyrillus has his bow drawn cautiously standing behind his allies that are more vocal. He is looking back and forth for any indication of what the plan is. If anyone looks like they are going to attack he will join immediately.
The figure draws back the arrow further. "Stop walking and perhaps we can talk." After a few moments, he chuckles. "What 'solutions' did you have in mind, exactly?"

When he realizes Gorgo and Brilyn have encountered a bandit around the bend Lord Darcio orders Azrael to sneak up on him. Azrael turns invisible and into his natural form and sighs before silently advancing through the tunnel towards the bandit. Meanwhile Lord Darcio steps into view of the bandit. "It may seem that you have the upper hand bandit, but we have your precious gold. Would you bury that with us or can we perhaps reach an agreement where we all live and you still would be a very rich individual?" Lord Darcio says, mostly to distract the bandit from the tiny invisible fiend making its way towards him. Stealth:21
(OOC: I´m a little confused over the situation here. Brilyn and Gorgo took point right and then they rounded a corner and saw the bandit with the bow right? If the distance between Gorgo/Brilyn, and the rest of the party is 250´ and the distance between the rest of the party and the bandit by the entrance to the main room is 300´ then the distance between Gorgo/Brilyn and the bandit should be 50´right? Also since they came around a bend when they saw the bandit, the bandit wouldn´t see the rest of the party until they came around the bend? Since the bandit seemed to answer Alasses suggestion of finding a solution I assume the rest of the party has caught up with Gorgo/Brilyn hence being about 50´away from the bandit. Please correct me if I´m getting any of this wrong.)
(I read ZK's post with the layout as having a typo... "Gorgo" should read "bandit". As in, the bandit is 250 feet from the party and the doorway is another 50 feet beyond the bandit)

(OOC: I have a couple of thoughts, but Gorgo hasn't quite picked up the significance of all this dynamite talk, so unfortunately he's not going to be much help in finding a crafty way to resolve this.)
This fool would threaten a dragon with fire? While the others talk, Gorgo stows his spear on his back. His irritation at the constant tease of battle wells within him. He whispers and draconic and raises a hand, drawing up and readying a fire bolt. The whisps of flame dance across his fingertips. For now, the ready trigger will be the bandit firing his arrow... Gorgo would then release his spell targeting the bandit.
"Thief in Shadows is not the only one for whom the fire dances...."
Has Gorgo even seen the "powdery sticks" tied to the walls yet? Perception 10 or if you prefer Investigation 19 to put 2+2 together and figure out why this guy is pointing a flaming arrow at a wall instead of at them?
