The barbarian feels the spell begin to take hold, but he shuts his eyes, shakes his head violently, and roars. He stills for a second, then calmly opens his eyes. Looking down at the bone knight... how did you get down there? "You will wish you had not done that."The large sword rises, and then falls, repeatedly.

Robin casts Tasha's Mind Whip at 3rd level. She will target the one that is corrupting the other undead if they are still up, as one of the targets, otherwise just two of the remaining enemies.
Damage is 9, half with a DC 15 Int save. On a failed save there are other affects from the spell.

Skeleton Int STs: 15, 12
As PM's fire bolt smacks a skeleton, it suddenly crumbles apart, its bones seemingly turned particularly fragile and loosely held together. A moment later, both remaining skeletons explode under Robin's psychic onslaught, despite not having been hit before. It's as if with the bone knight dead, the skeletons lost most of their cohesion.
Drego calmly reloads his weapon, eyes scanning the room for any other signs of trouble before reaching down to check Stitch over for any signs of injury
"Nicely done." Robin says with a smile for her companions. She then takes a few minuts to cast detect magic as a ritual, wishing to see if any magic is around that would be of interest.
PM does what he can to soothe Jax and assure them that their head is only as occupied as it ever is… They will then spend time searching the area for… well they don’t know for what, but anything that looks like it could be connected to this infestation?
Jax: You do not find anything else in the ruins of the skeletons or on the bone knight's body. Curiously enough, his bone armor appears magically grafted to him in some way.
Robin: There's a low, constant level of necromancy magic coming from what looks like the walls themselves of the vaults, but nothing else.
"... confounding..." Pieste Mor says slowly, mulling it over. "...remaining clues are 'The hungry ghost lurks among tomes, but beware the brotherly flames that wait behind its cold.' and 'A Seeker loses his divinity drop by drop to two sanguine stalkers...' ...and now we see our defeated one had instructions to kill five Seekers... is this an additional seeker to the one the sanguine stalkers look to drain or could that be one of them, I wonder.... andThe Avaestasi, not our main foe, the Queen, but surely someone in power of their structure..."
Robin accepts the letter from Jax and looks it over. "Something to add to the broader picture." She says with a shrug. "Hopefully it will make more sense as we go along. Let us hope that this minion had not managed to do any of the tasks here." She waves the letter meaningfully. "We should ask our host if any seekers have gone missing of late." After everyone has time to read the letter, Robin will put it away in her pack. "Any idea of where to go for the other clues?"
"Tomes are books, right? But this place has a lot of libraries. Is there one nearby? And the other one sounds like a vampire, or something. Can we look at all the Seekers to see if we see any who are bleeding, or pale? How many Seekers are there?" Jax says, slowly, absentmindedly picking up a minotaur skull and turning it around in his hands.
"There are several thousand Seekers working or living within the Monastery. Some of them are literally vampires," Derin provides. "We could ask and see if there are any missing Seekers."
Jax nods at Derin, refrains from calling him Derrick, and then looks at the rest of the group. He lets out a loud impatient sigh and then begins walking toward the closest library. He returns after about a minute and asks Derin for directions again and sets off once again.

Jax stomps a few more bones with his feet. "OUT. OF. MY. HEAD."
He catches his breath. "I think we found the bad guy."
He looks down at the bone knight, squinting to see if anything remains now that it's down.

"Off to the library then." Robin says, following after.
