Tabaqui decides to take a break from attacking, since he can't hit anything anyway, and will slip through the door into the demiplane. Finding the unconscious Angus there, he will administer his potion of healing, restoring 6 hp to the paladin.
(ooc: he also cast shield to prevent the snake's bite.)

When you make an ability check that fails, you can spend 1 sorcery point to reroll the d20, and you must use the new roll, potentially turning the failure into a success.

That's going to take him 60 seconds to accomplish, so while he's off doing that... snakes!

(Marlyth's Turn: Round 7)
Marlyth will scale the wall horizontally, then she casts Misty Step in order to teleport herself into the snakes' den. After that, she will cast Primal Savagery on herself so that she's prepared to deliver a corrosive bite attack against the second snake while kicking the door of the shadowy entrance shut to prevent the snakes from leaving the plane.
<I thought the door was out in the upside down well now. My understandingwas that one door disappears when a new one is created in the new casting of the spell. Moot point for the time being, but we should decide for future cases.>
Marlyth tears into the snake squeezing the life out of Calner, finishing him with a brital.cpuo de grace. One snake remains.
<@InkedBee, I just moved tokens and I realize I had Marlyth in area 4 on the Sideview and area 7 on the top view. Has she been to area 4? The group entered from 7.>
(@Wile_E_Coyote, No. She was inside area 7, moved downwards during one of the previous rounds, then scaled the wall to cover the horizontal distance along the circumference of the circle. Regarding the position of the door(s), my understanding was that both of the doors were active.)
<I think it does allow for multiple doors. Counterintuitive, I would say, but I don't think the spell was intended to be cast at will. How many 8th Level spells would someone have? >
[Edit; yikes! Even I couldn't understand what I meant through all those autocorrected typos. Knew I was busy, tried to shoot something out for you to work with.]
<@rob88scps2 this us correct. Doors are viable, but at 1/20th speed, it's going to take about 20 rounds to administer the potion and get out if the pocket plane. But that's like 2 minutes, still that's more than enough time for one side if this combat to die.>
Marlyth will cast Hellish Rebuke on the second snake as a reaction to punish the creature for hurting a tiefling lady, thus infernal flame will engulf the creature. Fire Damage 15 (Dexterity Saving Throw against DC 12).
The snake, it's rotting flesh wreathed in eldritch flames, writes wildly about its den, whipping its tail as it slides about trying ro extinguish the fire that burns the remains of its reptilian flesh. (So close...)
<Calner is up>
(this thing will die from a strong gust of wind. I'm telegraphing way too much, but I really am hoping for a descriptive coup de grace so we can hopefully wrap up this encounter on a somewhat satisfying note. AC 15.)
Ok, you've got it.
Belay that death save. Well keep the number but the save won't be due for 1 minute. Something could happen by then.
It looks like snake 2 is up if I'm wrong please, correct me>.
As the moonbeam is still up, the snakes won't leave the den. Calner looks pretty tasty. (He is still restrained, right or did I miss the escape?)
Bite 23 for 18 piercing
Constric (auto) for 24 bludgeoning
Tabaqui us up, then the other snake

(do I understand correctly that time is passing more slowly in the demiplane? So I (we) won't act for another 60 seconds?)
Yes, Marlyth's demiplane moves at 1/10th speed.

The snake attacks Marlyth.
Bite 19 for 18 piercing and 20 poison.
Constrict 26 for 22 bludgeoning. grappled & restrained until DC 16 escape.
Calner and Marlyth are up. Then, (if it's still alive,) back to the snake.
To be clear, there are 2 doors and can be a theoretically infinite number of doors.
<Can one of you please kill the snake so the other players can resume play without DM ex machina? (It's almost dead)>
Marlyth: Constitution Saving Throw × Poison Damage: 21 (Rolled in gamelog, with advantage from Theki Root)
Constitution Check (To maintain concentration on Moonbeam): 3 (Rolled in gamelog)
Marlyth will use 5 ft movement to automatically escape from the grapple (previously cast Freedom of Movement)
(@Wile_E_Coyote, Can Tabaqui and Angus use the doors and join us in the combat encounter?)
