Marlyth realizes that Madame Morwena has been hiding inside the cellar and probably affected by the lashing shadows because of her close proximity to the impact. Besides, the tiefling woman assumes from the words of Angus that she hasn't been fighting with the party all this time. Moreover, she doesn't believe the claim that this world is about to meet it's end.
"Angus, she possibly doesn't know how to escape from the hellish paradise unless she's one of the guardians"- she responds to the declaration of the knight, then asks Morwena,"Are you?".
Tabaqui, having exited the building, will begin searching for the guardians. He will head to the nearest shoreline, and commence circling the island, searching for anything unusual, or any creatures that might fit the label.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Round 6)
Marlyth will dismiss the effect of the previously cast spell Darkness and cast Conjure Animals to summon eight fey creatures. They take the form of Giant Crabs and attempt to surround the GreaterShadowHorror while repeatedly snapping their claws in a menacing manner.

I think we said it was a mile to the North Shore and a half mile to the East or West. You're in the dead center. you arrived on the southwest corner. At this point, east and west shores are virtually equidistant (give or take a house). So which direction are you headed?
The one you arrived at was empty. as is one other.
You'll meet something before you reach a corner unless you pick the wrong corner, odds are 2/3 you'll find something.
In a flurry of pinches, the tiny crabs fell the huge shadow horror.
{Lets just undo the attempt at sleight of hands on a 10lb rock. If this works, we've rewritten the rules for disarming and she's like to mage hand all of your stuff in a second.}
Morwena considers Angus' words for a moment, then responds to Marlyth, when she speak. "Yes, yes. You've found me out. That thing. It hides in the shadows, you know? Walks right through the walls. It stalks this whole island by night, but it knows that we do not wish to harm the stone. Tyrieus. He is the one who set that thing upon us. He killed the stone's first protector in a fit of anger. The shadow creature let me attune to it, but he won't let anyone near it, not even me. I know not what it is, but in our master's absence, this man and his dark shadow have made this place a shell of its former self and though I do not wish to see it destroyed, I fear that thing will be the end of us all."
<Sorry I've been kinda busy today with work. For the record, nobody in-game ever said the island is going to implode. That was just me telling the players so it doesn't just happen out of left field.>
<In fairness, I should have indicated that there would be tracks in the other 2 directions. I'm just going to change that from West to East.. because he saw the tracks. FYI: this was determined by a die roll earlier, hence I had to go look it up.>
The footsteps continue on to the beach, but beside them, there are now a second set. This sand is dry, so it is not immediately obvious, but these new footprints are headed back from the beach. Tabaqui eventually realizes this, but doesn't see anyone around to have made them.
"So, Madame Morwena, the guardian of the island, where do we find rest of your colleagues? Can you help us to travel back to our land of domicile? Although I have found the island quite comfortable to reside in, the loyal companion of a 'Tyrieus' has violated the peace of such an exquisite place."
Marlyth starts to converse with the wizard assuming her to be a guardian when her crab minions attempt to grapple the huge creature. She also displays the Sylvene's Book to Morwena and suggests that she should help the team beat the Shadow Horror which has been suggested by Angus earlier.
"Can you copy these spells to a new scroll so that we may cast them later?"
Tabaqui will quickly scour the beach looking for anyone or anything that could be a "guardian". If he finds no one, he will follow the second set of tracks.
Tabaqui finds the end of both trails of footprints, and standing at the end if thetesil is his old friend from Waterdeep, a feiend he lost to re cruel hand of the ceimelord, Gomez, who now also stands before him, upon the last set of footprints beside Tabaqui's late friend.
"So, looks like someone went wandering off on their own. You come running from thst shadow creature?" Asks Gomez.
"Please, Tabaqui, help ke. Together we csn stop Gomez snd get iff this damned island!" implores his friend.
Morwena gives Calner the key back. "This, I'm afraid, is no longer much use. It was the key thst brought you here, but its exhausted jts finso charge." She speaks in s caom and dignified voice, but it lacks sny warmth. "This object is a stone if creation. It is a potent artifact and the mesns by which Sylvene crested this demiplane.
If you wish to return home, know that I have already seen to it. You will be trsnsported back to the last plane you were on when you traveled here. It will just take a few minutes."
<The demiplane is actually a tiny ball of water with the island floating on it. A strong swimmer could depart from the east shore and arrive on the west!>
"I serve Sylvene. She was a powerful mage from a world called Ravnica. She made this refuge for herself and her son when he was born. I have been looking after it until Tyreus showed up with that thing. He had a violent outburst and vanished, but he left the shadow monster here to keep me from following him." Morwena forcibly represses her emotions, but an insightful soul might suspect she's crying inside. "I don't know what's become of Sylvene, but she's been gone a long time, and it may be that she will never return."
"Dev? I... I don't understand... you're dead! How can you be here?"Tabaqui is shocked. Turning to the other figure, "You! I saw you die with my own eyes! I killed you myself, you monster. What sort of trickery is this?"
Slowly, he backs away from both figures, not understanding, and fearful.
