The Lady gives a smile after the healing ritual is complete, "Now is a time to return to our people and celebrate." The three emerge from the pool.
"You will be considered friends in our homeland," the Verdant Lord proclaims, "Ask anything and we will provide what we can." They lead you back through the tunnels. As you move, the Verdant Lord addresses Kyrthas, "You need not worry about the pollution any longer. It is a result of the aboleth's presences in any body of water. As for Szazzul, there is no reason to believe he is involved here. Despite our illness, we would not allow him to conquer our home without a fight."
The day continues on and celebration takes over the forest as the trees and plants seem to spring back to life by the hour. The Verdant Lord and Lady are told of the impending war and the need for Alvernia's quick march to Dalenor. They offer their assistance in the matter and send a flock of birds east to deliver messages to the Alvernian army. While they can't do anything about the lizardfolk raiders, they do offer a safe passage directly through their domain (though out of sight of their heart tree).
In two days, centaur outriders return with news that the vanguard of the Alvernians was only a few miles out and marching along the path provided. With that, you are all sent on your way to meet with the army. (If you'd like to retroactively RP out or request anything here, please feel free.)
You can see the Alvernians from a distance as you approach. One rider at the head of a large block of dwarves seems particularly interested and rides to meet you, "I don' know what kind'a shite you pulled, but damn am I glad fer it." Bründir Halfshield is easily recognized despite his armor and helmet.

"My lady, do you know aything about the growing numbers of organised lizardmen? We have seen multiple parties, as well as a band of trolls and an Oni in just 2 days in the forest. It doesn't sound like these abominations were behind that. Do you know who may be behind them?"
"It's strange to hear of the lizardfolk organizing. Their kind has associated with others before, but never in a unified way. It could be that Szazzul is rallying the forest's more malevolent beings together. However strong they may be, though, they cannot overcome us here. The roots run deep and even though we are fewer, each of us can topple ten of theirs." The Lady seems resolute, not from arrogance, but seemingly from experience.

The Lord and Lady seem comforted by the goliath, "Should the need arise, we will call on you. And should you need rest, Warden Tallgrass will ensure you always have a place here." The firbolg ranger stood beaming nearby, the longsword which was wielded by the centaur captain now hanging at his hip.

“Well sarge” says the goliath to the dwarf “ we have managed to find a passage, but it could be a dangerous one though. We have to come back there and adress the lizarman problem, and their dragon leader. We cannot leave a full encampment of enemies at our backs, or to attack the supplies lines. It wouldnt be so much time, we will catch up with you. My captain and friend here “ he points to Grildolpho “the Winged Serpent Rider will shorten the details with you about that dragon... “ he turns around and walks away back to where they came to talk with the Lady and Lord about this plan of them.
Looking to the goliath, then to the dwarf, "I agree. We cannot leave a dragon at our backs. The lizardmen are easily overtaken, but there will still be casualities."

"If'n you knew how we did what we do, ye'd be makin' them sweet mercenary fees an' not us!"

"Digger! Pass the word. No feckin' with the landscape or the nature. Our 'hosts' wouldnae like it."
The thief drops the pot of diamond dust into his fence's hands and gives a wink.
