Jimena sighs in relief when Sir Omen applies healing power to help her recover from the trauma. "If I get the opportunity to reconcile, I'll tell the council everything. Perhaps, they'll promote you to a higher rank for your service to the temple. Let's resume our journey."
Whatever is approaching is doing so much slower than the characters are, so they can easily get away. A few minutes later, the sound changes to that of flesh tearing and bone breaking back where the body of Sir Glint had been lying.
"We're going towards Eston at a fast pace since the situation compels us to march forward"-Jimena will reply to the enquiry while attempting to figure out if they'd been somehow lost track of time and direction.
"Taking the direct road will save us some time. But, we'll most likely meet more hostile creatures as a consequence. What do you suggest?"
Omen thinks a moment. "The direct route appears to be our best and only real option." he says. 'We will need to find a place and rest as well." Once there is an agreement Omen will keep an arrow notched as the party moves.
The two knights continue on following the road for another mile or two before the mist lets up. While it is still foggy, it's no longer heavily obscuring your vision.
Ahead there is a small paved path that leads off the main road towards a large farmhouse.
The pair of knights move stealthily towards the farmhouse. No sound is discernible from inside or nearby, not even the sound of wind disturbs the silence.
As you get close to the building, without the fog obscuring your view, you can see the house is immaculately kept with gold embellishments and fine details, and through a window you can see a luxuriously furnished house. It's all still generally "farm" style, but made of the finest materials and expensive decorations. It's what you think a farmhouse would look like if it belonged to a king.
There is nothing moving inside, nor do you see anything apart from furnishings.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Jimena attempts to search for any sort of clue like a placard or name plate that might help her to determine the identity of the owner of the farmhouse.
From the map you took from Sir Glint's body, you can see that where you landed (the star) at Cape Verde is around 50 miles from Eston. And from Eston to Kalazart--where Sir Alain and the others sent their last message on the day of Mourning--is another 160-200 miles.
Jimena has been distracted by the task of finding some kind of documents. As a result, she fails to respond to the suggestion of the fellow knight immediately. But, she quickly pays attention to his words and replies with a smile:
"Definitely, we can rest here for awhile. Perhaps, we can make a detailed plan as a preparation for future events. But, before anything else, it's our obligation to make sure that there's nothing wrong here that can harm us. Did you ever expect to find me inside the knight's house? There might be someone else like me..."
Under a 20 foot tall overhang, supported by gold-painted pillars is a set of large double-doors, known as Aundairan doors. They are flanked by large windows of a single pane, through which you can easily see the interior of the house.
There are faint, tiny magical sigils that go along the border of the windows and door, that you recognize as protective magics against the elements.
There is a Cleansing Stone set in the porch stones as you approach.
Omen stops, a surprised look on his face.
"i am sorry Lady, I did not know how badly you were injured." he says.
With that a golden glow surrounds Omens hands and he places them upon Jimena, casting Cure Wounds at 3rd level.

"Agreed" Omen says quietly and begins to find an opening or door so he can enter.
