"Well, I've not seen 'nything like that afore," Evrik gasps as the kids disappear before his eyes. He thinks back through his mind. Some of the teachings he'd learned from the priest talked of mirages, but these interacted. More than just an image, he thought to himself.
"Perhaps you were the one in the right," Evrik says to Salman. "Let's go." And he grips his hammer and falls in behind Salman.

Salman carefully walks through the portico. He reaches for the oaken door then stops in the middle. " I'm freaking rusty. " The life in nature gave great amount of knowledge and experience, but at the same time it took away his roguish abilities. " Jingles, can you come here and help me check this door? And… "
@Evrik
"Dwarf… Ah Evrik. I know asking you this now sounds foolish but … we are entering an obviously haunted house. And you are the specialist, I mean priest. Do you have any items that can harm ghosts, like holy water or something?"
Gideon recalls his familiar to his side, as they are entering a clearly unwelcoming house where his familiar will likely be unhelpful, Gideon seems to wrap space around the raven and places Raaf in his interdimensionsal familiar pocket.
Gideon then steps forward to join the others. "Is there anyone light of foot or skilled in trap finding? This seems the kind of place one would boobytrap. By the Wyrm, this whole place makes me uneasy."
After carefully inspecting the oaken doors you open them to find a foyer. Hanging on the south wall is a shield emblazoned with a coat of arms (A stylized golden windmill on a red field.), flanked by framed portraits of stony-faced aristocrats. Set into the north wall are mahogany framed doors with panes of stained glass.
Jingles looks at Gideon with a broad grin, "Why, I believe, in all modesty of course, that what you ask for is a wee thing th' just happens t' be something I learned at me Grandmare's knee." He looks around and the grin fades a bit, becoming a little more 'plastic' and forced. "Aye, it is a creepy place and I am sure our unease is well placed."
Making sure hit tools are close to hand, Jingles moves up to the doorway, listens intently and, if there are no 'unusual' sounds, he will proceed to check things out, as silently as possible.

"I don't have anything other than the blessings of the gods," Evrik replies to Salman. "If we can find the right materials, I will ask the revered mother to bless some water, but she will require a silver sacrifice which I currently do not have." Evrik makes a motion with his hand and mumbles a few words. "Don't worry about the ghosts though, the gods will help us set free those trapped souls."
As they enter the foyer, Evrik studies the coat of arms. (Perception: 8)

Umbral Sight: You gain darkvision out to a range of 60 ft. (+30 ft. if you already have it). While in darkness, you are invisible to any creature that relies on darkvision to see you in that darkness.
" And I don't have any silver pieces either. Darn it! " Salman curses under his mask. " Okay. Lesson learned. Always keep silver in your pocket in case you are facing some nasty undeads. I'm counting on you, priest. And pray for deity that we can find any silver pieces in this place "

Salman pushes his ear against the door and hears the sound. Then he slightly opens the door and peeks inside. If he sees no danger on the other side, he will signal his party to rush in the next room.
(Salman) You hear nothing on the other side. Opening the doors you peek inside. A wide hall runs the width of the house, with a black marble fireplace at one end and a sweeping, red marble staircase at the other. Mounted on the wall above the mantle is a longsword. The wood paneled walls are ornately carved with images of flowers, vines, nymphs, and satyrs. The decorative paneling follows the staircase up to the second floor.
Salman tells everyone what he has seen. " … There seems to be no danger. Unless these nymphs and satyrs suddenly jump out from the wall and attack us. " The ranger quietly enters the wide hall. Giving a wary look to the gorgeous relief, he moves toward the staircase with a short sword in one hand and a shield in the other.

The gate to the portico shrieks as you open it. Two oil lamps hanging by chains from the portico's ceiling, flank a set of oaken doors.
