The two take off towards the docks, Jimjar getting there slightly faster than the derro and jumping in the air in celebration, before wincing as one of his wounds pulls.
Stena approaches at a more dignified pace as the racers converse.
"I'll have to owe you the five gold, I don't have it on me!", Buppido grins.
"No worries mate, I know you're good for it."
Jimjar slaps Buppido on the back and moves to the downed guard to search it as requested, but pauses. "This one isn't dead yet... Not keen on him waking up with my hand in his pocket..."
Gloog seems in favor of finishing him off, standing poised above him with his pincer staff, and telling the others in Undercommon to strike at the same time, to not give the guard a chance to retaliate.
The drow boy is still breathing, but it rough shape after the treatment they received at Blopp's hand, and then getting run through the shoulder by Galingal's rapier. They seem stable, but unresponsive.
((Buppido seems in favor of the 'all stab on three' plan that Gloog proposed but I'll give you all a chance to join or dissuade first.))

((The guard had 29 HP remaining, but with his relatively low AC, and everyone having advantage and crit on a hit, he's not pulling through.))
Stena joins the stabbing circle, and the four of you dispatch the guard before they reach consciousness.
She inquires about Gloog's plans, he takes a moment to focus on what she's asking, and scratches his fishy head.
"Head of the Deep Father cult is dead, she had a few other powerful followers. My father will have to make sure that none of them take over, but it sounds like the shiny one's mob is at the Deep Father shrine. I say we go there and tear it down for good!"
Stena checks on the boy, but moving him seems to have reopened his wound, as he begins bleeding weakly.

"We'll check with those onboard to see what they've found before we leave. Best ye come Gloog, maybe yer sister has something in her home to help weaken the followers of the Deep Father's resolve."
She kicks the legs of Blopp as she goes by,
"Since she blew off her own head."
Stena places the boy someplace safe and out of the way and goes looking for Lia or Galingal to give the boy some healing.
The legs slide on the wet dock and splash into the dark water.
((Stena, give me a Perception check please.))
Entering the boat, you set the boy down on Blopp's bed, and see Galingal and Lia both looking at a grim altar and shrine, covered in blood and featuring a pair of posed dehydrated octopodes.

As Lia gets closer to the shrine and notices the evidence of blood sacrifice, she says, “This can’t be allowed to stand…”, and Galingal (and now Stena) see her destroying the small shrine, tearing down anything that would have held power or significance, even using her dagger to unbind the two squid-things, to destroy the crude effigy.
She turns from her work and quickly uses prestidigitation to clean herself up and clean away any blood from the destroyed shrine.
“Do we want to search this boat?… or take it?… or get back to Ploopp or the docks?”, Lia asks, finished here.
((If we were in person, I'd probably roll a die just to mess with Grwobert as Lia destroys the shrine... :p ))
Lia dismantles the shrine and cleans things up, and sees that the altar is strewn with thousands of coins, most of it copper, but some gold and silver shining through, some deep blue gems, a silver choker with a spider design on it, a black silk handkerchief with silvery spiderweb embroidery, and a heavy bronze cup that previously held the remaining sacrificial blood.
((What are you doing with the pieces of the effigy?))

Lia says to Galingal and Stena, “Here!… Grab some of the gold, and gems… If we can’t claim any supplies or gear soon, this may at least help wherever we end up going…”. She begins to grab for some of the gold and gems. Not thoroughly, just grabbing some of the larger (gold) coins and gems for future use. ((Let me know how much she can get in a few rounds)).
As for the effigy… Lia would have cut the creatures down, and separated them. Whatever state they’re in, she would have laid them down (just on the wooden floor out of the way), so they can ‘rest’ there, with a little more dignity than becoming some kind of grotesque puppet.
This doesn’t follow any particular religious doctrine just common decency and respect.
She would glance at Galingal after laying them down, in case he wanted to do anything else or extra. The glance just says ‘there’… and doesn’t ask anything of Galingal in particular.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Stena doesn't say anything while Lia goes about her business with the shrine but does say, and looks between the pair,
"The drow child needs healing."
She glances at the coins and gems without moving towards them and continues,
"Gloog wants to go to the Deep Father shrine and kill more of the cult. We've done what we said we would but aye doubt they'll keep their word. Even if we solve all their problems. What's the plan to help them keep their side of the bargain?"
She'll then walk over and pick keep out the necklace, a few gems along with some gold and silver.
Lia approaches the drow child and hunkers down in as-reassuring-a-way as possible, looking over them. ((What state are they in? Are they in danger of death? Anything Lia can do (short of a spell) to stabilise the child?))…
Over her shoulder, Lia says to Stena, “Maybe Gloog can go knock himself out causing mayhem at the docks. We’ve done our part… We were the strike team!… In, and out… done!…”.
”And besides, I’ve already sent hundreds of Kuo Toa Faithful that way, intent on talking back the city… That was already over and above what we had agreed!…”.
”There’s not much more ‘we’ can add to that... We are but a few…”.
Stena, just for a moment after the legs go in, you could swear there was a pulse in the water, like the ripples that resulted from dropping it in, but deeper, down in the water... but that's nonsense.
Lia applies pressure to the stab wound and manages to get them stabilized. They remain unconscious, but don't seem in danger of slipping away.
Gloog calls to the boat, he seems ready to go take the fight to his sister's followers, whether you join him or not.
The three of you on the boat feel it lift and rock to the side as you tend the child and loot the shrine, a deep groaning sound thrumming through the water.
Neth, from your position on the shore with Buppido, Jimjar and Gloog, you see the dark surface of the water farther out bubbling and beginning to foam. A thick, oily tentacle bursts forth writhing in the air before splashing down. Initially your interest is piqued, but it is soon followed by another, and then a dark form begins rising, displacing water and sending it sloshing towards shore, the houseboat beginning to buck against the dock, other dugout canoes clattering as the waves wash up against your feet.
Two monstrous heads break the surface, both resembling hideous, angry baboons with wickedly curved tusks. Both heads are attached to a single torso, and the monster’s red eyes burn with bloodlust and madness. The creature rising from the Darklake must stand dozens and dozens of feet tall, with water cascading down its back and shoulders. Upon reaching its full height, the great demon throws back both its heads and roars!

Gloog falls to his knees, extending his arms and bowing, taking up the cry, his faith in the Sea Mother wilting in the awful presence of his fallen sister's god.
The creature begins advancing on the city, the pair of tentacles at the end of each arm curling and writhing, slapping and whipping the water as it wades forward.

Galingal had been dazed. The near death had brought him too close to the Queen's sight again. The connection that had been slipping has been reaffirmed. He'll have to be more careful.
