"You mean Sloobludop? The only other settlement of any size is Gracklstugh, which is what... southwest? Southwest... Buppido is confident he could get us there...", Jimjar translates, listening further as Buppido speaks. "Says it would have been about three weeks on foot from Sloobludop to Gracklstugh, but that we can cut that to closer to ten days by boat, if all goes well." He raps his knuckles against the hull. "Knock on zhurkwood."

Lia plays a little ‘towards’ Buppido as he gets up and heads above deck, a little like a musician in a bar or on the street might play to acknowledge someone’s presence or movement.
She hears voices, but continues to play for the little drow boy. She’s slowly increasing her calm, feeling more focussed on just one reality, as time goes by…
"Blingdenstone's an option... I'd have been able to get us there on foot, but I'm no Darklakeman.", Jimjar ponders. "I bet I could do it though... if we wanted to head there, can just point us north and keep going till we hit the edge of the Darklake, and Blingdenstone would be somewhere generally northish of there. Maybe point 'er a bit west so we don't come out too close to the drowlands? But yeah... ten gold says I can figure out where we are once we land and figure out where Blingdenstone is from there. Fork, let's call it a hundred gold!"
((Speaking of gold...))
Since you stole the boat, the contents of the shrine were: 954 cp, 499 sp, 285 gp, an embroidered silk handkerchief with a spider design, three azurite gems, a duergar-made bronze cup, and a silver choker with a spider design.

Via your very good passive insight... Jimjar's not outright lying, directionally everything he's saying passes muster, but you think that the 90 gold raise might be a bit of a bluff as far as his confidence in pulling it off goes. Almost like he's trying to talk himself into it.
Jimjar retreats to the cabin with Lia to rest, as well as help keep an eye on the drow kid. He assures Stena he'll let her know if the kid stirs.
Darkness swallows the boat as you continue onward, Lia playing softly within the cabin, the notes fading as the sound out across the surface of the water. After resting and binding his wounds, Jimjar is feeling better, but the drow child is still unconscious. He emerges and takes over for Buppido at the wheel, just to give him a chance to decompress.
After another hour, there is a startled exclamation in elvish as the child wakes up, back on the boat where they were tortured and held awaiting sacrificial execution.

((And that's before he recognizes the guy that stabbed him.))
Stena waves a halt and goes downstairs quickly.
Finding the drow she says in undercommon as soothingly as she can manage,
" Hello again. Recognize me? We save ye again. That fish woman is gone. Ye're safe. Aye'm Stena. That's Jimjar and Lia and Galingal." She pauses. "And Buppido. "
Galingal passes the pole to Buppido so he can catch his breath.
He ignores the drow child. Bystanders get hurt in battles. The child is not dead and if they had not attacked, there would be no need to answer any questions.
But he does go look for Lia. Once he does he looks at her blood stained clothes and nods
“I stab you. Think undead. Demon monster play tricks on mind. Good not dead.”
Not sure what else to say, he just looks at Lia for a few more moments. Then other words pop into his head. Ones he has never used but has heard used here.
”I sorry to cause pain.”
He leaves her to her music after that and then listens to the discussion about where to go.
”Blingdenstone sound best. Jimjar maybe find it. But will need food soon. Have coins to buy but need traders.”
He thinks for a moment about the warriors they have left behind but doesn’t look back at the KT town.
((Spoilers on my mobile are a pain so I'll skip them for now.))
She responds to the boy in undercommon
"Galingal stabbed ye because the fish woman used ye as a shield. Yes he stabbed that woman, Lia, but was also the fish woman's fault. She is dead and the city was being destroyed by a... monster, so aye, we did take the boat. The blue guy is a devil-spawn that the woman who was stabbed is bringing along. Aye don't know why, his name Nath or something. Aye just met him."
She let's him process that a moment then asks,
"Are ye okay? What's yer name? How'd ye become a slave?"
"He stab the fish woman, I mean? He also stab Lia woman? He likes stabbing. Devil-spawn? I'm Ranador... fishes captured me years and years ago. You said Bloppblippodd is dead? What about Glibbldoop, Plippolodrip and Bloberglawp? Are they dead too?"

When Galingal speaks with Lia, she slings her lyre onto her back and pulls up her slashed and bloody leathers and vest to show her skin, clean and unmarked beneath. “I’m okay… No harm no foul”, she says with a weak smile. “I don’t know exactly what happened, or didn’t happen, but I know we were all affected by some strange power. It’s not your fault… I’m okay”. She pats him on the shoulder and takes a moment to clean the remaining blood off of her clothes with prestidigitation.
"He does like to stab things, and yes he stabbed the fish woman. Aye shot her with arrows as did Lia. The blue man is tainted by the blood of devils. It's why he is blue and has horns (and a tail?). All the fish people are dead. Either we got them or the monster did. Nice to meet ye Ranador, where are ye from? Do ye have a family?"
Neth continues manning his station, listening in to the conversation happening around him occasionally. His thoughts continue to drift back to the large abomination he saw walk out of the lake and attack the town.
Such terrifying power that exists here. How could the Kuo-toa summon such a thing into existence? Is that why he was sent down into this pit?
He continues to think on it this way, mindlessly paddling ((or pushing, or whatever we are doing)).
He come to and thinks towards his next move.
He calls to his minion “any idea where we are going? Check in now and then will you? Scout ahead if you can. We may need to go our separate ways soon from this group. I don’t think we are welcome with most of the others here.”
Neth ponders why he hasn’t heard any whispers recently. Maybe he has a better grip on things than he thought.
Lia let’s her long, white hair down, prestidigitates it clean all the way to the ends, and re-ties it into a tight braid that runs from both temples, over her ears, and down over her left shoulder. Satisfied, she wanders out onto the deck…
Seeing Neth there, pondering and maybe muttering to himself, she offers, “Penny for your thoughts…”, in a relaxed voice. If there’s a guard rail she leans lightly against it next to the blue tiefling: close enough to be friendly, not so close as to invade his space. She’s well practiced in that delicate balance.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
While they have a moment to breathe, Galingal searches through the houseboat once more to see if there's any sign of anything edible, or any drinking water, failing that, anything resembling nets or fishing gear.
Perception: 24
He notices the conversations on deck, but, for now, stays out of them.
Neth, suddenly aware that Lia standing next to him, comes back to the moment. “Oh just thinking about how it’s been so long since I’ve been on a boat, I’ve missed it. Thanks for dragging me out of there and thrusting me into all of this, really enjoying myself!” He says with a bit of sarcasm. “Though if you hadn’t I guess I would have been in the path of that monstrosity back there, so there is that.”
He tries to do his rowing, pushing, whatever a little more professionally looking.
Lia pulls her leathers and vest up (a little) again, for the second time in as many minutes. Her stomach shows no stab wounds, and no blood. “I can prove quite resilient when I need to be…”.
“And you’re right, if I hadn’t found you, you’d still be back there… … and resilient as I am, I might not have lasted much longer without you ‘intervening’…”.
”Did you… ‘slap’… Galingal?!… Did that happen?…”. She looks Neth up and down trying to work him out. Trying to work all this out.
"We are heading away from that thing. As to what it was?" She shoots Neth an accusatory look.
She then asks both Jimjar and Buppido in undercommon,
"What do ye two know of that is south or west of Blupidoop on Darklake?"
She'll let Jimjar handle the translations from undercommon.
"You mean Sloobludop? The only other settlement of any size is Gracklstugh, which is what... southwest? Southwest... Buppido is confident he could get us there...", Jimjar translates, listening further as Buppido speaks.
