"Keep an eye on Ranador," she looks at Galingal, discounts him and addresses Lia, "until aye get back. If aye don't come back, ye know to go."
The last bit aimed back at Galingal.
Stena slides as silently as she can from the boat and works to stay in the darkness between the light being cast. She'll do a circuit of the small island, looking for clues at to who lives here, in this isolated place and manages to not be overwhelmed by the denizens of the lake despite making themselves an obvious target. She'll keep an eye open for traps as she does this.
Stealth (with advantage if there is enough darkness): 8
Perception (if investigation -2): 19
She'll work her way back to the mushroom hut and, after doing another circle of it, try to get a peek in the windows.
Lia stays with the drow boy, but looks out from the cabin when Stena heads onto the island. She waits with baited breath for any sign of success, or for any sound of a miss-step, or worse…
Stena hops lightly onto the dock, moving and sneaking her way along the shoreline, much of it rocky and devoid of fungal growth, allowing her to take a lap back to the dock. However, as she moves up towards the hut, she feels a strand of something against her leg too late... it gives, and a jingling of alarm bells attached to it sound off, the interior lights of the hut vanishing.
After a few moments, a female voice calls out, "Who's there?"

"And what business would a traveler have on our island? Are you seeking a safe place to rest? Supplies? There is no game of note on the island, and what edible fungus grows here is claimed... No sweet water springs, either."

Neth, vaguely concerned with watching Stena on the small island, snaps his attention to Galingal: "I am fairly familiar with boats but I'm not personally the most handy. If I can get someone to help I can take a crack at it."
The KT nods eagerly at Neth, eager to show he's got value to the group... and perhaps relishing a chance to get away from the gaze of Buppido and Ranador.
There is a murmured conversation at the hut, indistinct, but a deeper voice sounds as well, before speaking louder.
"Forgive my daughter, she's only being as cautious as I raised her. You don't want to say why you're stopping, we don't want any trouble, or anyone stealing or damaging our boat! I'm stepping out, don't try anything!"
The door to the hut opens and a large male dragonborn steps out, his black scales glinting in the glow of the mushroom forest growing on the island. He has a hand axe at each hip, but holds his hands up, extended towards you.
"If you need trade or assistance, I'd rather provide it and get you on your way than have you stay tied up on our dock."

"Aye've no idea. Better to try something. Aye can scout this place though. Nothing here can look that inviting without being a trap."
Galingal nods and helps use the poles to guide the boat to the dock, keeping it steady so Stena can get off to explore.

(Crap, missed this post)
Stena curses silently and calls back in the same language as the female voice (undercommon?),
"Just someone looking to use yer dock. That going to be a problem?"
She'll turn so her yell reaches those on the boat, if possible.
((Yes, Undercommon. Jimjar can translate Stena's half to the others.))
"Who are you, and why do you want to use our dock?"

"A traveler and because it is convenient. Ye can remain in yer mushroom until aye leave. That's probably best for everyone."
She isn't trying to be threatening, but she doesn't want whoever is in there to think she, they, are vulnerable.
Galingal looks at the others and nods.
They not attack Stena so okay. Galingal says.
He then hops off the boat with whatever rope they’ve been using to tie up the boat when they stop and toes it off to the dock.
Keeping one eye on what’s going on with Stena, he walks along the length of the boat looking for damage above the waterline.
Neth, you think can fix boat underwater?

Galingal nods at the KT to join Neth, asking Buppido or Jimjar to tell them in undercommon that the boat needs to be fixed.
Neth looks to the KT and begins to speak in undercommon;
Will you help me fix the boat?
Stena responds,
"As aye said before, yer island is merely a convenient stopping point. Mind yer business and aye'll mind mine."
On the person saying they don't have a source of water, Stena looks back to those on the dock to see that they are getting repairs going.
Galingal keeps an eye on the hut and Stena, and takes several steps off of the dock onto the island.
"You're on our island, so it is our business!"

Stena raises her bow, but the arrow isn't drawn.
"Teaching caution is wise, stay put. Yer boat will be fine. We'll be gone soon enough."
If he stays put she'll ask,
"...what do ye have for trade?"
His eyes narrow as he peers down at Stena in the path, and beyond, a tiefling and kuo-toa jumping overboard.
"Stuff we find. What you needing? What are those two on about?"

"A map to the surface or one of the area. Anything like that?"
Stena spares half an eye for the pair hopping into the water before answering,
"They enjoy swimming but aye hope they are doing something more constructive than just that."
Her bow is now mostly lowered.
