Marmaduke The Purple Worm is aggressive in her approach to attract gamblers for the level match. Almost as if she's either had been swept up in the excitement of what promised to be a 'Monster Mash-Up', or trying to whip people up into a similar excitement. Either way, her spirit and tenacity just HAD to have been bolstered by some sort of spell again. Though how she found the power beyond some Sorcerernonsense is anyone's guess.
When folk go to seek out the 'Purple Worm' and vice versa the following is clarified: Bets will remain open until the conditions for 1st Blood section have been met. Variable betting has been temporarily re-structured, as well as the minimum stake being at least 15 gp. She's also changed up the format to make it easier to read.
(Stake x Odds = Payout(-Minus Stake, though it is returned as part of payout))
S/N Rulings:
For this match, bets will remain open until someone falls.
A gambler can bet on multiple categories, but only once per.
And to clarify, methods of incapacitation that do not involve a takedown (ie. Competitor being reduced to 0 hp) only qualifies as a 1st to fall IF said competitor REMAINS incapacitated until the match ends.
If multiple competitors are rendered incapacitated at the same time via the above method, and remain that way until the end of the match, the stake is considered a loss. In such an event, all proceeds is divided and funneled back into the arena to support future matches (or so she says at least)(Suspended due to nature of the match)
If vig/commission is not paid upfront, it will be taken out of the winnings.
In the event of a draw (not sure if that's even possible), bets will be refunded (at cost to MD).
Those that don't understand the format change are free to ask for clarification.

Eider sips his drink and continues discussing plans with Toren.
All the while he keeps an eye on the level 8 match. It has been a while since he has fought Grianne or Calgin, he does not want to be caught off guard if he should face them again.
Grianne wakes up in the morning, her arms wrapped around Eldin, still using him as a pillow. She notices quickly and feels a sudden blush and and trys to get up. Unfortunately Grianne finds one of arms has fallen asleep. Somehow it made it's way under Eldins back and she is pinned down.

Eldin had trouble sleeping the other night for obvious reasons. Since this is the first time he went to bed since coming back from his journey, he was hit with an extreme bout of tiredness and is now deep in sleep. He doesn't notice a thing that's happening to Grianne.
Ob celebrates at the feast. Speaking fondly of his and Lasser's chanced partnership in the Arena. He insists the mage is good luck in a fight.
The next morning he can be found at an empty table, sharpening his axe and watching the championship fight. As well as the matches that follow during the day. "These tactics.." Ob swallows a disrespectful adjective in his throat "There is little glory in winning a battle you yourself did not actually participate in." he grunts to himself as he works.
The Tabaxi continues grinding his axe as the Druid and her opponent take the field.
