Spell Scroll - " If the spell is on your class’s spell list, you can read the scroll and cast its spell without providing any material components. Otherwise, the scroll is unintelligible"
(@Keneux: Z'all good, Keneux. ^_^ Not sure I would call it wholly worth. But you can always pick it up with the Bard's Magical Secrets at 6(with Lore) or 10)
(@Persuasion: Uh, hello! Mazara is a bard lock too! … and a Cleric... Sorcerer... But still! The disrespect! :P)
Marmaduke nods, and notes to check back in a few days for the 1st installment. Once Ganathor leaves however, she looks to her order list and taps her chin. "Hm... I wonder if I should look into hiring some extra hands."She mumbles.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Rolling at disadvantage, as she's not trying particularily hard: 16)
(@Persuasion Dude... I'm just faffing around with Mazara at this point. XD Not sure if I said this before, but I built him with a plan of being some sort of archer college of swords bard since some of the flourishes weren't reliant on being in actual melee. Then delve more into cleric for all that goodness. Safe to say, that ain't happening anymore. Not gonna pick up any other classes. If he was a Sunbro cleric though, I would've totally gone Way of the Sun Soul for that double sun power. But alas, too late now.)

The next match has been announced for level 7 competitors. As they help rebuild the town after the drow attack, they receive a postcard with an image of an elderly elf who is wearing denim overalls and a farmer's straw hat. He appears to have been paralyzed while the picture was drawn.
(So a college of "swords" bard? It is interesting that none of the blade flourishes actually require you to use a blade, or even a melee weapon. So you could slashing flourish with a dart, or something)
(Can Ganathor help create spell scrolls as a bard, and can he also do it while being a competitor in the Coliseum?)
Currently playing in: Quest for the Shunned City, Coliseum of Conquest, DragonDenn's Dragonlords, Shipwrecked on Fugue, Tomb of Annihilation, Razor's Lost Mine of Phandelver, The Lost Kenku & One Grung Above
Currently DMing: Princes of the Apocalypse, Out of the Abyss, Coliseum of Conquest—The Arena (Sometimes)
(@Persuasion: E'yup. Either Cleric 4/Bard 6(for extra attack), or 7 and 3 since cleric spells are generally better than the conc. heavy bard set.)
(You can if you have the appropriate skill as in the campaign notes. Don't know about directly helping though to cut the time, though I've seen some have that be a thing for the creation of magic items. But one of the big question is why would you? Your taking time out of making one for yourself for the competition potentially. And money isn't that great a thing out of a characters personal shenanigans.)
(@Bobo: Still considering Paladin, and I allowed to swap out my domain later I might just follow through on that. For now, only Warlock 2, Cleric 2, then Bard 2 (in that order) are an assured thing.)
(Consider if I was gonna go Sunbro Cleric/Sun Monk, that I mine as well go Fighter 2 for action surge. That way on the turn he transforms he can channel divinity for the visual ascetics of releasing a damaging way of SSJ power!)
"Well, I figured this wasn't my office once I realized that there was room to walk around. I suppose you've confirmed my theory. Anyway, would you like join an expedition into the massive cave systems below the world to destroy the dark elves? If so, meet me in my actual office, and by 'office' I mean 'large closet I took up residence in'."

(All jest aside, you can sub your str or dex for charisma with a hex weapon. So, he couldn't use Great Weapon Master, but can take advantage of Elven Accuracy, if'n I recall correctly.)
(Nevermind. Just requires a 'heavy' weapon... That's a pretty nice combination there.)
(If you don’t know them/they aren’t on your spell list, you don’t even know what they say.)

(It as Cogma's got it. Bard's don't get Shield. But, if you are Bardlock(specifically Hexblade) like think you are, then you can use the scroll.)

(Another Bardlock? A rival appears!)
Ganathor orders 4 copies of Shield from Marm.
(Edit: Actually, wait, what are the rules for casting reaction spells from spell scrolls?)
(Yeah, Imma cancel my order then. Man...)

(He'd want to make them because ~backstory~)
(Wasn’t Parab using a claymore?)
(Which I’m guessing is a greatsword.)
