From the kitchen comes a loud clatter and Roondar, the brewer, groans, "Oh, no..."
A massive, colorful, patchwork balloon floats overhead, and a gnome girl leaps out. As she falls she calls out, "Introducing!" ... She reaches the end of an elastic rope, springs up, and falls again. "The Magical!" ... She springs up... "Mystery Tour!" She shouts as she drops a handful of leaflets that float down among the crowd.
(I've decided to create an opportunity to obtain additional magic items, with specific limits for the number of items of any rarity carried. If you currently carry more than your allotted Total, due to collection of Spell Scrolls, you may not gain tokens from Roondra's Magical Mystery Tour, or you may relieve yourselves of superfluous scrolls at any time should you win her prize.)
(Alright, anyone want to join the expedition to the underarm before we set out for our first journey? This is the last call before we sally forth into the underground.)

(If you retire, you should post some lore about what had happened and our characters could keep playing. Life after the Colliseum. Split off and do more campaigns based on level groups. Technically only linked in story by the history if this place. That is if we can find enough dms for all of us.
Who would be willing to do that? Not saying that you should or shouldn't retire because i love this concept and how open it is, but for you, im not sure how you do what you do. You're a legend BDaddLy. I don't know many DMs that could run 4 fights at once and keep them straight.
(Hey you never know. You could meet her here. Playing as different characters let you put part of yourself in every game. In the end it is always how you feel in the moment. That shows who you really are anyway. That's why I love D&D.)
The door squeaks open as a rather strong looking half orc ducks through the doorframe and enters the establishment. Naked from the waist up, his skin is covered in cauterized symbols of the arcane, each one deep and scarred. Across his chest, back and arms only stopping at his heavily set neck. From his mouth two long tusks rise up to nearly his eye level, eyes that which immediately notice the bar. His lower half is garbed in a raggedy, burnt pair of purple and red trousers that is held up by a thick well worn belt, affixed to which his a small satchel and a thick leather bound rectangular object that is strongly fixed to the leather belt. His left hand rests on a staff that is predominantly of a light coloured wood, atop which the skull of a goblin resides.
Slowly he meanders to the bar casting an emotionless look around the room.
"Pint of ale please." he gruffly says.

(Speaking of WoT did you hear they're making a TV series this fall?)
(Ah, right. Was thinking it was only 800 pages. I did hear that, although how knows if it will actually be any good.)

(I'm praying that it'll do the books at least some justice. WoT is my favorite book series, I've read it 5 times)
(It’s one of my favorites, but I haven’t had the time to read it more than around one and a half times.)

please don’t retire, unless you’d like to/need to. I like playing here, this is fun.)
When Eldin sees Grianne, he runs top speed to her (Double Dash) and gives her a hug by a kiss. He says, "I- I thought you were gone..."
(Interesting, it's a glimpse into the past. Also, is that Young Og I see a few pages after the longest thread announcement?)
(Shhhhh . . .we don’t talk about young Og.)

Long live the Colliseum.)
(That was months and months ago and I was joking. But who knows, I could meet Miss Right any day, and kick you all to the curb.
Miss Right?! Are you out there? ... I suppose if I play with my daughter's occupying all of my time, I'll play then too anyway.

Morthos leans in to the table, fiddling with the coaster.
