"Well I am betting she won't just forgive and forget." Robin says with a frown after the fleeing hag. "Best keep an eye out for her in the future." She tells the others as she turns back to them, the hag now out of sight. "What happened in there?" She nods to the house.

Baudric keeps a close watch on the surroundings to make sure that the witch or more scarecrows or anything don't surprise them while they're searching.
Robin waves everyone back as soon as she spots the symbol on it. "Everyone back up." She says. As she speaks a floating hand appears in front of her. Robin steps back with the others, out of the hut and off to one side of the door. Making sure everyone is out of the hut, she uses the mage hand to open the chest.
Robin's mage hand manages to activate the glyph, unleashing lightning within the hut. Thankfully no one was hurt. When you go back inside, you find the following inside the chest.
1,300 gold
Five gemstone worth 500 gold each.
A vial containing an oil, Two spell scrolls (mass cure wounds and revivify), a pouch with 10 shiny bullets, a set of pipes and a stone that glows. You also find a book, bound in a thick leather cover with steel hinges and fastenings. The pages are of parchment and very brittle. Ez nods and says "That is the Tome of Strahd."

Robin would wait for anyone else to speak up. If no one does have an identify spell, then she places anything that appears magical into her own pack, telling the others that she will study them next time she has a short rest to do so in.
"The Tome of Strahd?" Bral repeats. "I'm guessing this is what we have to seek from the witch. We need to find somewhere we can open that book and read what's inside. It might provide us with more clues about this land or Strahd himself."
Bral then turns to Robin shaking his head.
"I know very little about magic."

Baudric also shakes his head, "I think my newfound powers lie elsewhere as well. But I don't think this is the time or place to conduct such study. Should we retreat somewhere safe to do so, or move to the next prophesied location?"
Rose and Thorn are talking with the human druid Walter, who somewhat resembles them. Flynt nods and points to the north. "The Village of Valkali could be a safe place. There's the abandoned mansion if we want to be risky."

Robin packs the items from the chest, minus the book, into her pack. "Let's get to the village then and we can study these things a bit closer." She leaves the book for whomever wishes to carry it, as she fears her own ability to protect it.
Baudric shakes his head if offered the book, "I already carry one of the relics, we should probably keep them separated to avoid losing them all in one misstep. As for the village, that sounds like a good plan. Perhaps a good chance to resupply and make some more friends among the locals?"
Bral nods his head, "I think keeping the different relics separate from one another would be the best course of action."
He then turns his head to Robin, "Are you sure don't want to carry the tome? I would have thought that would be something that you would be interested in? If not, then I am quite happy to carry it for now."
He then bends down taking hold of the tome and lifting it from the chest.
"I do believe that just leaves a sword to be found? And for that, I believe we need to talk to the master of the marsh? Would he be around here? These are the marshlands, correct?"

If the hut has stopped moving, then Robin would climb inside to have a look around.

"does anyone have a way to identify magic items?" Robin asks as she uses the mage hand to lift the various items out of the chest.
Keldon shrugs. “I mean… my eyes.” He looks a bit confused at the question.
