Kulogall pulls himself together and takes a hard look at the remaining locked footlocker. He then looks for a glass or a mug, pours a small amount of water from his water skin into it. He sits down next to the chest that is locked, and starts to poor the water into the lock. Right after he does so, simultaneously, he casts shape water to turn the water into ice and hopefully break the lock. If successful, he takes off the broken lock and opens the footlocker that remains to be searched.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Elwyn - You notice that the bar across the east door is damaged and bent, as if something has tried to push the door open from the other side. This door offers only silence as well.
Your one weird trick works and the simple lock snaps open. Inside you find personal items similar to those found in the other lockers, but buried beneath all that is a porcelain doll costumed to look like a sailor. The doll’s eyes are made from two pieces of jade worth 10 gp each.
"Let's leave this door for now." Elwyn says as he stands by the eastern door, turning instead to the one to the left of it. "Which leaves this door I guess. Ready to see what we will find behind door number two?"He says, ready with his wand to open that door as soon as the others seem ready.
Elwyn & All - When you're ready to open the door, you can read the following:
Unlike the barracks, this small room holds comfortable furnishings and appears to be well cared for. A comfortable-looking bed in the northwest corner has a wooden locker at its foot. A small wooden table stands against the east wall, with a padded leather chair beside it. On the table, a brass three-branch candlestick with three burning candles provides the room with bright light. The candles, though not fresh, are far from spent. Under the table is a small wooden box and an unlit bullseye lantern with a movable shutter over the lens. On a shelf above the table sit three books. In the northeast corner is a closed wooden wardrobe.
Ruby nods, ready for Elwyn to open the door. After he does so, and seeing that there´s no danger, she will walk to the locker at the bed and check what´s inside. If it´s locked she will try and unlock it using her Thieve´s tools.
Kulogall stands up and gives the doll with the jade eyes to Ruby, says “Have a look at this! Perhaps you could remove these. Keep them if you like.” He moves in into the smaller room with the others to investigate. He looks through the books in the room, looks along the belongings.
Ariana follows Ruby in and watches her unlock the chest, paying special attention to her tools. "I really need to get another set of those. I lost mine a while back."
She then goes to inspect the desk and opens the books, taking cursory glances to see if anything is relevant to them.
Wake & All - Please make a DC 12 Investigation check if you would like to check for more foot prints in the barracks area.
Ruby - Please make a DC 12 Dexterity Check to see if you can unlock the footlocker. You can add +5 to the roll since your DEX modifier is +3 and you are proficient with Thieves' Tools (+2 Proficiency bonus).
Kulogall - The three books consists of the following volumes:
A volume of erotic poetry, fully illustrated
A naval almanac listing tide times for the area of coast around Saltmarsh (a total of one hundred miles of coastline is covered)
A treatise concerning Maglubiyet and his followers
Inside the third book is a sheet of parchment featuring a few simple words and phrases in the Common tongue and their equivalents in a language unfamiliar to you. The words include “stop,” “fight,” “lift,” “come,” and so forth.
A DC 10 Insight or History check will reveal the following to any who inspects the parchment:
The language is likely that spoken by those who commonly worship Maglubiyet, Goblinoids including Goblins and Hobgoblins.
Inside the wardrobe you find a fancy floor-length oilskin coat (5 gp). Its sleeves contain numerous pockets (empty), and it is trimmed in iridescent green silk.
In the box under the desk next to the unlit bullseye lantern with a movable shutter over the lens, you find twelve candles, flint and steel, and a piece of parchment with the following text:
Long–short–short–short: “Is it safe?”
Short–long–short–long: “Everything safe.”
Long–long–long: “Ready to unload; come to the ship.”
Wake - You manage to find evidence of a group of people heading toward the southwestern corner of the room where a heavy wooden shelf stands. You find that the shelving unit slides to the east on tracks, exposing a hole in the wall from which a cool salty breeze blows. Daveth looks to you with a grin and says, "Praise be to the Moonmaiden!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ruby -
You easily pop the lock and open the locker. Inside is a coin pouch with 5gp, 16sp, and 355cp. Next to the coin pouch is a small, silken drawstring-bag containing a good-sized black pearl (25gp).
Wake will alert everyone to the passage that leads out of the barracks behind the heavy wooden shelf in the southwest corner of the room and will stand guard in case anyone comes through it.
”Should we use these beds to prop this slider closed until we are ready to deal with it?”He will ask the group.
"Wow, thanks, it´s kinda cute, isn´t it?" She says to Kulogall, looking at the doll with a small sad smile."Well, I guess that means that they really kept children here."
After that she manages to finaly open the wooden locker, taking what´s inside and holding the pearl close to her eye, admiring it. She snaps back as she hears Wake talk about another passage, pocketing the pearl. She will go to where Wake is to check out that passage.
Kulogall is interested in the oilskin coat with pockets, he loves the color green, commenting that it is the color of hope. If allowed, he puts it on and transfers small items into some of the pockets.

Ariana readies her quarterstaff and cracks her neck.
“What happened to the footprints we followed in here?” Wake says as he realizes we may have destroyed our ability to track.
He will survey the floor back to the secret door to see if any damp footprints lead to another wall.
