Krunchy steps towards him, spoons and forks rattling on his armor and says to the Constable, "Kruncheälog, travelling culinary master, at your service sir! Would you like to try Crunchy Stout? I made it myself." He then reaches for the putrid ale on his belt and offers it to him and holds up the bottle to anyone else in the group, in case they changed their mind.

Talon turns to Morgram. “A pleasure meeting you.” Says Morgram as he shakes your hand.
”Well, there’s lots of reasons, not the least of which is deep superstition.” You can see a conflicted look cross his face. With a sigh, he continues.
“Look, these are good people, but the’re simple. They were burning each other every six months because someone was a “witch”, or a “werewolf”. And that Apothicary, well, he didn’t help. Sold tinctures and wards, and ... all kinds of stuff. It’s not that he was bad either, he just didn’t see how he was just making a bad situation worse. Soo, well, when I came to town I... sorta deposed him. Banned burning and tried educating. That cut into his bottomline -badly, so we haven’t exactly been the best of friends.”
Talon jerks his head towards the forrest. “Now as for what’s really out there... there’s plenty. We’re at the center where 3 mountain ranges come together, so we get a lot of migration. Wolves are pretty common, as are the occasional goblin. I’ve seen Orc sign, Hobgoblins, and the like. But somethings changed, in the last 6 months it seems like nothing is coming through here. It started up about the time Elle found her two helpers in her backyard beating her lawn ornaments with sticks. You met Poot, the other one is Trot - he stays in the back mostly.”
”We get the occasional missing sheep, but nothing like dragging off a person. So this is new territory.”
“And especially now that the moon festival is coming up, I think everyone’s on edge caus it’s bringing up a lot of bad memories - and bad habits. Something I’m afraid the Apothecary seems pretty caught up in.”
Talon sighs heavily. “But that’s nothing you men need to worry about. There’ll be more than enough time to get him straightened out once we get Firth back - sorry, that’s the name of the man who got taken. His wife’s name is Sarah. Good folk.”
"I see. Well, I'm a man of the people, and if good people are in trouble- and these people seem pretty great... even if they have their own unique ways about 'em... I'm happy to do any heavy liftin' for ya, sir. Do we have any tracks or leads?"
“Well, Firth and Sarah’s plot is out at the far end of the field. There’s a foot path at the edge of the forrest out from there. It’s my guess they headed straight for that path.” Talon replied.
OOC: I’ll continue to move us forward to the forrest edge. If you have any follow up questions for Talon, feel free to keep them coming!
"As I mentioned, these forests are treacherous and the Hollow Forrest is not to be taken lightly. If you'll pardon me for saying, you all look like you can handle yourself just fine, but I needed to warn you regardless. Now I know this area fairly well, so I'll take point. But keep your eyes peeled."
"Lets go!"
The group left through the gate and crossed the fields of crops. At the edge you can just make out a trail of broken grass leading from the edge of the crop field towards the forrest edge.
After hopping over a wooden fence, the group finds itself in waist high grass. Beyond which the massive looming trees of The Hollow Forrest jut black into the night sky. As you approach the tree line, you notice that you can make nothing out under the canopy of the forest. It is as if no light can escape the dense forrest.

"Sounds like a plan... Lead the way mate."
(OOC: Rey says this once everyone's ready to go then follows along closely behind Talon, staying alert :) )

"I've heard that some people complain about you and your methods.I think they don't like the changes you've brought. I think you're doing the right thing, but you should be careful. Find a balance between your methods and the lifestyle of these people" says Morgram instructively. "Well, but we should now get on our way. Let us find out what happened to Firth. Like the big Cat said, lead the way. We will follow"

"That tends to happen to ignorant townsfolk, I myself almost got burned at the stake when I was hunting a demon who happen to be the mayor of that town." Xander explains as he keeps his eyes open for anything unusual.
Krunchy can see better thanks to dark vision. He notices that the forrest seems to go on for quite a ways, and notices that, about 200 feet into the forrest, the lower limbs of a few trees are lit by what could be a camp fire.

Hahaha. Rey is tempted, but doesn't think now's the time.
