Griff ties a length of rope onto an arrow and fires it at the beholder. (OOC: Basically want to try to pull the beholder down such that it would be easier for Og to hit, I'm assuming I wouldn't be able to actually pull it down until next turn?)
The arrow does hit and sinks into the beholder. Because you have the Extra Attack feature you can use your second attack to attempt to "Shove" the creature rendering it prone if you succeed. It is an Athletics contest. If your Athletics check beats the Beholders then he is successfully knocked prone. Normally this wouldn't be allowed with flying creatures but because I like the idea of the rope, which was your bonus action to tie off, I'm allowing it.
With a mighty pull, Griff yanks the Undead Beholder out of the sky on onto the ground. The Beholder is now prone, all melee attacks have an advantage and all ranged attacks have a disadvantage.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Og sees the monster ensnared on the ground and attacks furiously.
Attack 1: 28 Damage: 5 + 6
Attack 2: 26 Damage: 4 + 8 (rerolling the red 4)
Rerolling the 1 in attack 2: 6
Og will then use Action Surge to gain an additional action, so he moves in to attack again and swipes furiously with his silvered greatsword.
Attack 3: 20 Damage: 6 + 5 (rerolling the 4)
Attack 4: 23 Damage: 9 + 7
Rerolling the 1 in attack 3: 7
For a bonus action, Og takes out his Gem of Brightness and utters 2 command words in Dwarven as a beam of light shines directly at the Beholder
The second command word expends 1 charge and causes the gem to fire a brilliant beam of light at one creature you can see within 60 feet of you. The creature must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or become blinded for 1 minute. The creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
Seeing the Beholder fall to the ground Og sees this as his opportunity to strike and quickly lashes out with four massive swings on the undead creature. However, it is still moving. Silas, seeing Og nearly be disintegrated by the creature rushes up and quickly heals the Goliath.
Og, to use one of the stronger blinding effects of the crystal is an action, not a bonus action so you cannot attempt it this turn.
Map: Honor you are up with the Undead Beholder on deck.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Honor puts up her bow taking out her silvered short sword in her dominate hand and her regular short word in the other going to the beholder beside OGG at F5. She the slashes at the beast with her short swords first hit 82 with 4 of damage with silvered sword; second hit 22 with offhand damage 4. Growling at the beast and looking to her party members hoping to have killed it!
Sorry butterfingers error it's +6 not +66 so I got a 17 actually because it was a 11 +6!
The Undead Beholder took two hard strikes from Honor and looks like to be on its last leg. In a frenzy, two of its eyes glance about and shoot their beams and two more random party members.
1=Honor, 2=Griff, 3=Celus, 4=Og, 5=Silas.
Will reroll if it is the same person. And reroll the eyebeams if they are the same.
The first beam is a light blue one that heads towards Og. Og give me a DC 14 Constitution Saving Throw or be Paralyzed for 1 minute being able to reroll to save at the end of your turn,
The second beam is a dark black beam that just pulsates with what Celus and Silas know as necrotic energy. Silas give me a DC 14 Constitution Saving Throw or take 45 Necrotic Damage half rounded down if you made the save.
Once the saving throws are done Griff is up with Celus on deck.
Honor you manage to shrug off the frightening effects.
Griff your up with Celus is on deck and remember guys tomorrow is a holiday in the States so weβre taking a break tomorrow.
