Even if it was the last stand (or especially if it was the last stand) Kairus was not going to give up fighting, sure that others will not too. That conviction made him sing one last spell, returning Yulmiath to life.
BA: Healing Word (2nd lvl, last spell slot) for 11 on Yulmiath
Despite the imminent attack, he tried to keep his wits enough to attempt to deceive the enemy: "You should feel better, Captain!"hoping that Ozor will believe the spell was addressed to Krodhen.
Then the triton prepared to avoid the attack from the nearby pirate.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Betting on this challenge being about endurance, Kairus uses his dwindling magical reserves to bring Yulmiathback into the fight. (Yulmiath recovers 11 HP and is no longer unconscious nor incapacitated.)
The bard then disguises both his spell and his defensive tactic with a verbal trick.
LEGENDARY ACTION
The trick pays off, and Ozor turns his attention back to Krodhen:
The attempt is one of the Renegade's Captain's sorriest, and Krodhen easily blocks it.
Despite Yulmiath's recent bout of unconsciousness and current calmer demeanor, the pirate spellcaster, Dinsly Windblower, still manages to keep some control of the general static energy the dragonborn is able to produce.
-> Damage roll: 10
Meanhwile, Ozor tries to save face by attacking his son twice more.
Ozor does more than enough to regain some dignity, severely hurting Krodhen with his first redemption attack and forcing the half-orc into unconsciousness a second time with his next swing. Looking like he'll soon join his progeny, Ozor nonetheless screams threateningly: "I'LL BE SURE TO KILL YOU GOOD THIS TIME!" (Krodhen takes 33 slashing damage and is unconscious, incapacitated, and prone.)
Still prone, Yulmiath nearly goes unconscious himself (Yulmiath takes 10 lightning damage.)
(Yulmiath is up next. He dropped his weapon when he went unconscious.)
Sensing that things are likely coming to the end for him, Yulmiath looks to at least take Ozor with him. The orc has taken an impressive amount of damage and is somehow still standing, if he can do this and Ozor's crew back down, then maybe his friends have a chance to live on.
Reigniting his rage taks but a moment, as he dips and his hands settle around familiar haft of his greataxe.
Bonus Action: RAGE!
Free Action: Draw greataxe.
Action: Attack! (Using reckless attack because in for a penny, in for a pound and GWM)
Attack 1: 15 Damage: 17
Attack 2: 11 Damage: 26
(OOC DC14 dex save for Ozor or 3 lightning damage. If picking Yully's greataxe up is not a free action, then he'd draw his handaxe so no GWM and a smaller attack dice. Here are his reckless handaxe attacks if needed:
Attack 1: 23 Damage: 8
Attack: 20 Damage: 10
As before, if Yully's first attack downs Ozor, then the follow up will be directed against a crew member, moving to get in range if he needs to.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@MB: Picking up your axe would indeed be a free action. Unfortunately, that means we are going with the first two attacks.)
Yulmiath springs right back into action but his muscles are still not as responsive as he had hoped. The greataxe attacks miss, but a spark of lightning still tells Ozor that Yulmiath remains defiant. (Ozor take 1 lightning damage.)

"I... I ain't... done yet... ya son of a sea hag."Hun breathlessly said while standing still defiant against Ozor and his men despite the various wounds and pain sharing device burning his finger. "So have at thee, ya... ya scurvy dog!"He shouted, affirming his grip on the Yklwa once more before immediately unleashing it upon Ozor again in a flurry of frantic stabs at the man's thighs. Though if such desperate strikes were not enough, then Mrs. Thinn is bid again to either finish the job or turn her attention upon one of the pirates behind the Kobold to give him a better fighting chance.
Action: Shishkibobing Blitz on Ozor! (Melee)Returning Yklwa - Attack: 21 Damage: 9 of magical piercing. (Melee)Returning Yklwa - Attack: 20 Damage: 8 of magical piercing. (Against better judgement, if Ozor falls,Hun will redirect second attack to OX-30 Pirate.)
Bonus Action(Hun): Command Mrs. Thinn to attack Ozor(or if dead/defeated, target Pirate at OX-30).
Action(Mrs. Thinn): Lash out at designated Pirate! (Melee)Force Rend - Attack: 22 Damage: 11 of Force.
Future Reaction(Mrs. Thinn): Deflect attack vs 1st attack from Ozor aimed at Hun or Krodhen. (or if Ozor is downed/slain, first attack from any nearby pirate at an ally)

Smelling blood, Hun goes in for the kill. Ozor turns to face the kobold in response to the "sea hag" comment, but any reply is interrupted by a grunt of pain following the first stab. Hun is in no mood to give him a chance to say a single word back, so the next stab is aimed upward into the orc's neck. The Renegade Captain falls to his knees and then, finally, on his side. It is clear that Ozor has lost consciousness, though the pirate still breathes, for now. (Ozor takes 24 magical piercing damage and will start rolling DEATH saving throws.)
Mrs. Thinn follows her orders and tries to clock another nearby pirate in the head, but her attack misses.
Cardmon gasps.

The general pirate crew seems a bit lost following the fall of their captain. Two of them look at Dinsly for instructions, but it doesn't look like the mostly silent spellcaster is about to start giving orders. Four orders look at Cardmon instead, but the would-be second-in-command is visibly still processing the developments. Only three of the crew members seem to have some initiative at this point, and it likely has something to do with their proximity to danger:
-> Cutlass(Bane, Deflect Attack) vs. Hun: Attack: 0 Damage: 7
-> Cutlass(Bane) vs. Mrs. Thinn: Attack: 3 Damage: 3
-> Cutlass(Bane) vs. Mrs. Thinn: Attack: 0 Damage: 2
Still starring at Ozor, Hun lets Mrs. Thinn interfere with the attack aimed at him. In the aftermath, two other swipes come at the automaton and one of them leaves a considerable mark. (Mrs. Thinn takes 7 slashing damage.)
(Rhogal is up next. He needs to roll a DEATH saving throw.)
Unconscious on the ground, Rhogal shows signs of life (Rhogal succeeds one DEATH save.)
-> Reminder that Yulmiath's Rage dropped once he went unconscious.
-> Also, Krodhen loses his temp HP once Heroism drops.

SHIP ACTION
Coughing some blood, Ozor calls for his next bout of support fire from afar: "BALLISTAS!"
Cardmon seems a bit surprised: "We are too far..."
The one functional ballista (Yulmiath made sure the second one wasn't operational) fires its heavy bolt at Krodhen:
-> Ballista (range disadvantage) vs. Krodhen: Attack: 11 Damage: 17
The heavy projectile flies a long way but fails to clear the ocean. It hits only water, a good 50ft off its mark.
