Noticing that the mushroom dwarf is bleeding profusely after the attack, Hun runs to his side while encouraging the group to follow Yulmiath's instructions and something else about an elk. Before Rhogal can complain or say anything, some pink foam begins to expand while sitting on his arm. Before long, it falls off to reveal that the punctured vein has been healed. (Rhogal recovers 9 HP.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Seeing the dwarf suffer from the birds attacks, Krodhen makes his way over to the druid and seeks to shield him from further attacks and will hold his action this turn to attack the first bird that comes at either Rhogal or himself.

"Bubbles the Barbarian" (Locathah - Lvl 9) - Locathah Rising; Shai'ere Delatete (Githyanki Monk - Lvl 9) Rrakkma (deceased - MindFlayer); Saros Rockfoot (Deep Gnome Diviner - Lvl 5) - The Lost Kenku & One Grung Above; Tagret (Goliath Barbarian - Lvl 2) - Tales of Faerun;
At the cost of ignoring the two birds who attacked him, Krodhen's protective instincts kick in and he runs to Rhogal's side. A casual observer might be surprised an "orc" is running to a dwarf's aid, but there he is. The paladin then prepares an attack for the inevitable follow-up swoop.
-> Also, here's a very late concentration check for Kairus {DC 10}: 6 -> Bane dropped when the hawks attacked.
(@Blue: Unfortunately, Bane dropped when you were attacked.)
Kairus switches instrument for crossbow and shoots a well-aimed bolt at one of the birds who were previously affected by his spell. The bolt flies through the hawk as if it were a rubber balloon, popping the animal into a multitude of crimson feathers. (Blood Hawk#5 takes 8 piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Approaching his kobold companion, the triton then proposes a amicable contest (Bardic Inspiration).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The blood hawks repeat their maneuver, swooping down and attacking in pairs. They stay long enough at their target's personal space so that each bird attacks simultaneously to its partner. Then, each bird duo flies back up.
The dwarf lucks out when one of the birds attacks his white beard and hair instead of his face. The other attacker does not make the same mistake. Yulmiath can feel the hawks' beaks scrapping against his fire-red scales. (Rhogal takes 4 piercing damage; Yulmiath takes 11 piercing damage.)
Krodhen tries to swing at a bird as it flies away but is not quite fast enough. (This uses Krodhen reaction, so he actually can't use an opportunity attack this turn.)
The birds fly back up. Here are their exact locations as of the end of their turn:
Blood Hawk#1 is at {T-44}, 35 feet off the ground;
Blood Hawk#2 is at {M-42}, 30 feet off the ground;
Blood Hawk#4 is at {Q-50}, 45 feet off the ground;
Blood Hawk#6 is at {H-47}, 35 feet off the ground;
(Yulmiath, Rhogal, Hun, and Krodhen are up next. Almost all of you can perform an opportunity attack since Hun was next to Yulmiath when he was attacked, and Rhogal can do it too.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
I assume Krodhen's held action from last round did not result in any hit on the birds that attacked Rhogal?
Reaction:
As one of the birds attack the druid Krodhen comments "You seem at one with nature for sure", then proceeds to thrust his sword at it is it swoops past, scoring a decent hit, and no doubt ruffling some feathers!

(@Lerus: Unfortunately, Hun doesn't so much as have a dagger, and is too weak for an unarmed strike to matter. XD)
The kobold grimace seeing Yulmiath so torn up from the flying rats that deared to taint the sky with their fancy feathers! Still, even he couldn't help grinning in return for Kairus' words. "Oh, I'm gonna do more than just ruffle some feathers. Time to teach these birds-" Hun pulls cranks some lever behind the shield, causing it to make some weird "Chkk Chkk!" noise as the nozzle is replaced with a much wider port with something glimmering inside. "-To chill out." With that, he whips around to glare up at the birds, barking out, "Ya here me, ya feathered fiends! This will be your last day on this world!" He called out as he ready to speak the words, "Go Go Frostfire Bomb!", knowing the little built in slingshot would immediately fire and release a high volatile vial of some flash freezing gas!
Action: Ready to cast Frostfire Bomb on Bloodhawk to first near an ally(Priority Yulmiath). Con Save(DC 14) or take 5 Cold damage and disadvantage on next attack. (2nd d6 is from expending Bardic Inspiration as per Magical Inspiration. Only expended if Con Save failed)
If a creature has a Bardic Inspiration die from you and casts a spell that restores hit points or deals damage, the creature can roll that die and choose a target affected by the spell. Add the number rolled as a bonus to the hit points regained or the damage dealt. The Bardic Inspiration die is then lost.
Yulmiath weathers the attacks by the blood hawks. For his part all he can do is throw up his arms to try and protect himself against a flurry of squawking feathers. Break and talon pierce and graze his scales and he feels blood seep from the wounds as they move to retreat.
Reaction:
How dare Yulmiath be made to bleed his own blood! As the raptors move away, he tries to pancake one with his great axe.
Attack: 11 Damage: 11
Action:
Shifting his footing slightly, Yulmiath prepares to follow his own advice, albeit a little too late and prepares a 'welcome' for next blood hawk approach.
(@MuggsHill: As mentioned in the OOC Chat, Krodhen does not have a reaction to spare by the time the birds fly away because he used his reaction earlier in this same turn to "release" his held attack.)
Even before the blood hawks finish their approach, Rhogal releases more of his invisible spores. This time, no bird unknowingly flies into the harmful puff and the dwarf reacts by letting out a brief "tsk" click of his tongue in disappointment.
A moment later, when the crimson birds begin to retreat, Yulmiath tries to swat at one of them. He almost catches it in his swing, but ultimately misses his target.
Still to land a blow on one of these raptors, Yulmiath forces himself to be a bit more patient and prepares to swing his axe when the birds swoop down again. For now, the dragonborn simply waits.
A few feet away, Rhogal tries to follow-up on his spores attack once again. He requests the grim-looking mushrooms to sprout from the next bird, but the stubborn fungi does not obey this time. That's probably because the spores didn't stick the second time around.
(@Ori: How about an improvised reaction attack with a crowbar, crossbow bolt, or a shield. Assuming Hun is already holding them, it could work. Keep that in mind for the next time. I see you have a yklwa too, which is a melee weapon.)
Motivated by his former pirating companion's battle wounds and his newest pirating companion's comedic challenge, Hun goes on the offensive. Not wanting to run the risk of ill-aiming his planned Frostfire Bomb attack, the kobold also waits until the birds are a little closer.
With sword in hand, Krodhen also follows the group strategy and bides his time before his next attack.
(@MuggsHill: As also mentioned in the OOC Chat, I'll use the first attack roll in your post above as the newest ready action, since that opportunity attack could never have happened to begin with.)
"Nasty critters! Remind me of fish that lives in shallow waters - small and vicious, can eat legs off of a horse."Kairus talked while taking the whole scene in, judging the suffering of allies and aggressiveness of attackers. Finally, he chose a target in the sky but did not forget to say a few encouraging words to the wounded Yulmiath. "They say music doubts the pain. I say, a friend fighting by your side does more".
Showing that he is an expert at multitasking, Kairus aims another bolt at a flying target and follows that up with an acapella rendition of Healing Word (since the cittern in on his back now.) Just as the next hawk hits the ground, Yulmiath's face wounds heal to more manageable depths. (Yulmiath recovers 6 HP.)
It's another kill for the bard! (Blood Hawk#4 takes 8 piercing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Still hungry for a potential humanoid meal, the three remaining hawks swoop in once more. They try to maximize their chances by aiming for the younger/smaller target in the herd. As they approach Hun, the kobold's manufactured spell is triggered, but the catapulted frost bomb misses its target. (You may keep the inspiration die.)
One of the hawks passes by Krodhen and is slashed mid-flight. It has to readjust its path but it is committed to the attack. (Blood Hawk#1 takes 6 slashing damage.)
A second bird gets a bit too close to Yulmiath and is brought down by an axe blade. (Blood Hawk#2 takes 9 slashing damage and is DEFEATED.)
Hun, who had been safe until now, is caught by surprise by the dual attack. His scales are the ones bleeding now. (Hun takes 13 piercing damage.)
Then, the raptors retreat upward and away:
Blood Hawk#1 is at {I-43}, 35 feet off the ground;
Blood Hawk#6 is at {M-41}, 45 feet off the ground;
(Yulmiath, Rhogal, Hun, and Krodhen are up next. Hun andKairus can perform an opportunity attack. The others who got within melee of a retreating bird --Hun, Yulmiath and Krodhen-- do not have a reaction to spare.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(@Lerus: Sadly, used me reaction for the readied spell, no vengeful strike out of the kobold)
"Everyone's... a freaking... critic."Hun mumbles in between pained grunts and gasps. Yet as quick as he'd been in helping the dwarf recover, the kobold eventually staggered closer to the birds from ground level, and finally drew forth his Yklwa. "For every drop... of blood... spilled... I'll make you pay for that twicefold!" He declare, and again presents the face of the shield, revealing another vial had been loaded automatically and would soon be flying again for one of the birds.
Then, it is back to Mr. Yully and Kairus' side, the Yklwa again acting more as a walking stick along the way, before he turns about and weakly brandishes it once more.
Movement: To K-44. (Or as close as appropriate to be in range of below action)
Action: Cast (Cantrip)Frostfire Bomb on Bloodhawk(I-43, or M-41 if other is killed by Kairus). Con Save(DC 14) or take 11 Cold damage and disadvantage on next attack. (2nd d6 is from expending Bardic Inspiration as per Magical Inspiration. Only expended if Con Save failed)
Movement: To L-46(Which should be where he started. But if not, let adjust position accordingly dear dm. ^_^)
