Looking at the liquid, smelling it, and then tasting it, it reminds you of the fluid circus performers use to breath fire although this stuff is much more potent as it it flickers orange and smokes a bit. There are some empty flasks about you could collect it in. (I think a full identification takes a short rest in 5e or Identify spell ?)
The fountain was not bleeding, it appears it was designed to produce such liquid for collection.
"Iċanfar lill-mejtin"
"Hmm, nothing happened, how do you rebuke the dead anyway? Never heard of such a thing."
"best take some of this and try get someone to have a look at it when we get the chance." Weber places flasks into the liquid to collect as much as he can.
"the great Kurtulmak does not speak to us due to the perfidy of the thieving of Garl Glittergold, lost in the maze he is, maybe Tiamat will do something yet"
he snaps out of his funk and looks up, ready for what's next
"Don't look at me" says Durthon "I'm only a initiate in the creed of Hanseath." If there are extra empty bottles he would also take one with the mysterious red liquid.
"Time to keep moving forward then" he firmly grabs his shield and warhammer and starts walking north, looking for goblins.
Scouting ahead you see the corridor continues north and there is a series of doors on each side that are ajar in varying degrees. There is a door to the West however that appears to have been used recently.
for Atillia
the corridor to the north shows many fresh rat tracks, it also shows 4 people went that way but only 3 came back... the door to the west shows too much traffic to give you more information that...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Any sign of their tracks, it looks like someone has been down this way searching for something” Weber takes a look at the area to see if he can spot any signs of the group they are searching for ((investigation: 5))

Following suit, Gus picks up his shield and hammer and walks carefully down the corridor, "We should check these rooms carefully, avoid any nasty surprises."
He approaches the nearest doorway on the left and carefully peers through the opening.
"Good thinkin' lads!" Gus exclaims excitedly, stepping towards the fountain.
"What d'you think this is?" He continues, peering into the basin and sniffing carefully.

Weber takes a closer look to see if he can figure out what the liquid is ((investigation: 7)) “must have something to do with fire surely.”
"Is that fountain bleeding?" asks Durthon, coming back to the fountain to take a closer look too (investigation: 17).
Turning to Meepo he adds "could you read what's on the door in your tongue too?"

"Wait, I've heard of some priests being able to drive back undead creatures."

"Where are we going to find a priest down here?"
he looks down at this feet and says softly...

"Might come in useful down here too," Gus says, helping Weber fill some flasks.
He turns his head to speak to Attalia and Meepo, "I've been living in my Temple as far back as I can remember, but I'm no priest, that's for sure."
"Don't look at me" says Durthon "I'm only a initiate in the creed of Hanseath." If there are extra empty bottles he would also take one with the mysterious red liquid.

ooc: sorry, there is only enough liquid for one flask before the magic petered out, I should have been more specific.
walks next to Durthon
"You're a priest?!?! Just curious then, if you were to rebuke the dead, how would you do it?"

Investigation: 6
There are some humanoid tracks but you can't make out much more than that. The giant rat tracks though are readily apparent however.
"there are rats everywhere in this place"
he follows behind, sling at the ready...
Giant Rats! 3 of them! Initiative Roll 10
Meepo 10
"I will go for the small one!" Attack: 23 Damage: 6
The smallest rat is crushed as the stone skips off the floor by your foot and then catches it right in the face. The other 2 are a bit bigger however.
ooc: this should go pretty quick so have at them! the one I rotated is dead.. giant rat
Initiative: 17
[When gus' turn comes, if there's anything left]
Gus drops his hammer and draws his Spear, throwing it at the rat to the north.
Attack: 21 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.
Initiative: 8
"More pests, this place is infested!" Durthon swings his warhammer at the rat in front of him.
Attack: 9 Damage: 4
The sound of the hammer crushing the rat's skull echoes down the hallway.... (only one rat remains to the North)
