"You made it," Caine says with a smile. Then trots off after Jim and Sleet.
As they make their way into town, Caine keeps an eye out for something that might be an inn (E1?) and a merchant that might take some of the treasure off their hands.
He looks through everything he'd jammed in his pack, his eyes resting on the silvered shortsword.
"Silver sword," he says. "That one might be worth keeping. Doesn't silver help with some curses?"
"I remember some of the people in my village wearing eye patches including my dad. If you were working above ground in the daylight and you had to run into the burrow quick, your patched eye would immediately have infravision without having to take time to adjust like your other eye would. Since I wasn't running into any burrows, never felt the need but I always thought they looked cool. We could probably sell it though, it may have uses on a sailing ship but that's it. There's not enough daylight in this town to ruin anyone's infravision."
"A silver sword?" Jim repeats as he considers their effects on curses. He tries to recall if he remembers if silver swords are effective against curses.
"I could use silver..."Razi says, quietly, almost like he is talking to himself. "Powdered silver... in quantity...".
Snapping back to focus, he looks around. They are on the outskirts of a small town. "Yes. I think we could all benefit from finding an inn and recovering for a night."
He turns back to watch the four story haunted house burning away. "You all did so well in there. You should be proud...".

If no one has any other suggestions, Caine will head towards the middle of town (E1), checking out the buildings as they go, with a particularly keen eye kept open for the walking twig creatures that attacked them when they first got to town.
"Werewolves?" Caine says if Jim shares what he remembers. "Why not? We've been attacked by twigs, garbage mounds, walking armor and ghosts. Why not werewolves?"
"Aye, werewolves," Jim responds. "It would certainly be fitting with everything we've encountered so far. But yes, having that silvered sword would come in handy. At least until we possibly find some magic weapons. Although, I guess magic spells could also work against them too."
Jim will follow Caine as he seems to know where he wants to go.

"So, not an inn," Caine says with a half smile and a shrug, "but maybe someone who we can sell a few items to, maybe pickup something useful while we're here. And most importantly, get directions to a tavern or inn."
He tries the door, and if it's unlocked, he heads in, leaving it open for the others.

Razi gives a cursory look at the items on the shelves before turning to the shopkeep. "Good day, sir. You have it exactly right," he says, summoning up a big, slightly too excited smile. "My name is Razikiel. My friends and I are here to help." He gives a brief synopsis of how they were asked to come here and help lift a curse. "Can you tell us anything about this region? In particular, we were told to find a wise woman called Madame Eva. But any other information you could share about this land, the curse, or any other troubles, we would be much obliged to you."

"Ah, yes, Madam Eva. That's why we're here isn't it," Jim adds as he picks up an emblem. He notices that it is covered in dirt and is priced at fifty gold pieces. He holds it in front of the short man, waving it. "You know, if you are going to charge this much you should keep your wares clean."
As soon as he says 'clean', the emblem is magically cleaned before his eyes.

"I suggest we do them in the exact order you mentioned."
Caine claps Razi on the shoulder.

Jim nods his head, "Surely if they're called mercantile, they're at least willing to trade."
He will then cast a quick curious glance around, before following Cain inside.

looks around, eyes go wide at the prices....
in his outdoor voice...
"This is our lucky day, if this is what things sell for here, I am sure he will pay us top dollar for our goods and then some."
"I suspect he'll offer less than their worth," Caine says quietly to Sleet. "I'd sell here only if we really need to."
He looks around the store while Jim and Razi ask their questions.
