The druid looks beside him, down the alley, before giving a visible nod and continuing to follow the group.
”Once we‘re finished with our buisiness in the courthouse, I’ll need to see to a personal errand. I’ll try not to be too long.” he says to them as they enter. Piers hums to himself as he walks down the corridor - today would be interesting, indeed.
“So while we’re waiting, what do ya think of our new property? I’m game for whatever. I like the idea of making it more of an asset, but having a base of operations sounds good too. I don’t see how that space could be both though.”
Cat shrugs She never thought of it as a base of operations. "I think the locations good, haven't had a chance to explore most of it yet. It seems that people before us had an idea that it would of been a great restaurant. If it has as many rooms as it looks to have, I don't see why it can't be both. Our home and a business."

She giggles "I bet Piers could handle the yard work the best. Maybe train the plants on how you want them to look."
"That sounds about right. There should be enough space for all of us, and then some." Piers says absentmindedly.
He turns to Cat, a smile on his face. "You joke, but I certainly am up to the task. Nobody wants to visit a restaurant with a shoddy storefront. I'm more of an animal person, yes, but I've done my fair share of landscaping." He pauses, winking. "Speaking of which, we'll have a cart-horse on hand without having to purchase one, that will no doubt be productive for us. I cannot summon one (yet) but I can certainly turn into one."
Feeling more comfortable now with the humor. She shows her teeth in a smile and laugh canines slightly longer than a normal human "I guess we'll have to stock up on oats and molasses's" She turns a little more serious "That's good to know, I guess we'll get a cart since your willing.."
"Grass would be ideal, but hay would be alright too." he draws on his area of expertise, before coming to a realization. "Or... I could eat well in my normal, human form and save us the expense. I wouldn't say no to an apple, though~"
She stills herself "I suppose we should plant a few fruit trees if there's room. Maybe put a garden on the roof or a, um what do you call it?" as she tries to think of word for an indoor garden.

“I hope there’s space for all and a side business. It would be great to get some extra cash flow.” Drux’s eyes widen and jaw drops after hearing about the cart horse. Then with a small smirk, “A cart and horse? That’s an impressive trick. Turning into just one of those would have been helpful, how often can ya do this? And keep it up?” He lets a chuckle follow his words.

“I believe that’s called a flower pot Cat. I could be wrong though.” With a wink he adds, “It could also be a salad, depending on its placement.”
Piers chuckles. ”Just the horse. Twice per day without breaks, one hour each. More with breaks.”
He looks to Cat. “A rooftop garden or greenhouse, perhaps. There’s one nearby the manor, I’ll have to get acquainted with the owner.”
(I’ve played through the first two chapters of this module plenty of times before the DM dropped out; Trollskull Alley has a greenhouse that we would’ve passed. Once we’re done with the courthouse and dock ward (and piers with his enclave buisiness, though that can be a PM rather than in the main chat) we should probably explore the alley.)
(I've only made it to the troll fight with my Dragonborn bard pc Allian. Used thunderwave to knock the troll back down the pit and his silver dragon breath to freeze the stirges. I agree with the plan Piers. I want to be emersed in this story.)
Cat shakes her head to Drux's words "No not, a flower pot close though" looks excited she nods to Piers "Greenhouse that's what I was thinking! Really? I was too busy looking ahead of me. We'll have to check that out."
(OOC: I think I somehow got a little lost in the reeds of RP as it were. So I'm taking certain liberties with the presumed narrative, though with DM Goliath can of course correct me if or call for a change as necessary.)
Although at times a bit curious or amused by passing conversations, Idoza kept largely mute on things in seeming contentment in observation alone. "All in good time." She eventually chimed in almost mere moments before the disgruntled dwarf would beckon them to room three. At which point the cleric stood a bit straighter and proceeded on inside with the rest and with all the apparent self-assuredness of one used to dealing with legal proceedings.

Cat waits in room 8 like a cat in a new environment, nervously. "Ok, Piers. But don't forget we got another place to go."
Thinking at this rate, they'll make the dock-ward till nightfall.

Piers calmly shrugs. ”They said it was no rush, so I think the Dock ward task does take priority, actually. I can go this evening or tomorrow.”

“Oh right, a greenhouse makes more sense of course.”
Drux looks to the door of the room they’re all waiting in. “I wonder what’s taking so long.”
