You lead the horses to the cave entrance,(What about the supplies? from the cart.) its wide enough for the horses and group. The griffet now the size of a huge dog, is quietly sleeping, though it does let out chirp shooting out some ichor from its tail (All, Dex save DC15 to avoid poop bomb😐.) meanwhile, it's been more than an hour,(Krull may have a short rest since all he did was slide off a boulder, while trying to climb) since the Griffons were knocked out, they both wake! They unstably return, to their feet, noting the egg shells, they start sniffing the ground and air, momma looks towards the cave, then screeches, the baby wakes, returns the call...
Nat 20 : Margret, having some chickens growing up, knows the tell tale signs of the little Griffon as it squirms, and actually points its rear in a strategic direction. (could have had it get someone, but....)
Despite Margret's attempt to help - or is it because of her help - Rabbit does not manage to get out of the way. She looks a bit annoyed at Margret, but even more intensely upset at the baby griffon as she stands in her nearly ruined fine black clothing. Somehow, she manages to hold her tongue for a moment as she waits to see how the adult griffons will now react to the baby.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Droop Dex Save(DC 15): 18.
Short of a reminder from the others, Droop, at the very least, wouldn't be one to bring up the cart supplies, let alone their retrieval. But while this included his backpack as well...
"Wait... Droop is-WHOA!"Between Margret's assistance and sharpened reflexes, the goblin manages to dark souls roll his way out of the path of the poonami, though looked none to thrill afterwards! However, he barely even begins to start shaking his fist at the creature when the sound of awakening griffons has him immediately drawing forth his new rapier as he whipped around to face the source.
"They still live!?! Stupid Droop. You know better..."He trails off growling and glaring and looking about ready to charge back out of the cave to finish the job. Yet despite all of his apparent animosity, seeing Margret's actions gives him pause enough to look to the others, hopeful in seeing them equally mad and in need of just a little 'push' in the right direction. This was not meant to be. So, in frustration he quietly grounded his teeth against one another, and opted to wait until they (the griffons) parted with their little bundle of joy before remembering to leave the cave himself and retrieving his own bag at the very least.
Margret, shakes her head, and brings the baby to the entrance, returning it to its mother. (like leaving a puppy in a basket at a fire station)
"Here you go, little one. Remember the kindness shown to you by Auntie Marg and Uncle Droop."
The momma griffon, sniffs the newborn, and gently gathers it in her mouth, but then the other smell wafts into her nostrils, she grimaces, turns around and like a cat burring its scat, she scratches the ground a few times (Dirt flies) then flies off, the male follows, southward.
"Good. The stinky creature is gone," Rabbit mumbles to herself. "Alright! Let's finally get the animals inside," she says, sounding like she's still not very pleased with her predicament. She looks inside, trying to perhaps finally get an idea of what lies beyond the entrance. (Perception: 20)
Meanwhile, Calithor has contented himself to take a short rest while the others engage in their furious activity up and down the mountain, opening the chest and taming the young griffon. He writes furiously in his notebook, all the while humming quietly to himself.
When the others finally seem to have completed their explorations and decided not to kill the other griffons he closes his book and replaces it into his pack before walking over to Droop.
"A remarkable day for you, Droop!" he says as the griffons fly off, "This is a day that we should all should remember well, the first day of the saga of Droop the Mighty, Master of the Griffin." The he smiles. "We'll leave out the bit about the horse and maybe Krull's ... ahh ... misshap."
(Failed saves = disadvantage on stealth and perception involving smell (The smell part includes everyone within 20ft). Normal rolls for enemies melee attacks in magical dark. Till you're clean.) will initiate enemies perception checks)
The entrance tunnel leads into a large cavern supported by a natural pillar of rock and containing three stalagmites. In the western part of the cave, behind the column of rock, are three bedrolls and a heap of ordinary supplies—sacks of flour, bags of salt, casks of salted meat, lanterns, flasks of lamp oil, pickaxes, shovels, and other gear. Amid the supplies, you see the body of a dwarf miner, dead for more than a week.
The northeastern section of the cavern has collapsed, forming a ten-foot-wide, twenty-foot-deep pit. A sturdy hemp rope is tied off around a nearby stalagmite and dangles down the side of the pit, at the bottom of which is a rough-hewn tunnel heading northwest and east.
Margret will look over the dead body for the cause of death, her vision perfect in this environment (Darkvision 120ft) (Obvious wounds, weird skin, eg. poison, tongue hanging out, etc.)
Krull smells the poo covering him all over but he is get used to it.. His mind is set on finding Gundren's brothers and deal with this spider..they have come far but they are close to their goal.As they noticed the dwarf fear surrounds him ..the thought that might be on of Gundren's siblings..The past comes back to him as a movie..the death of his brother reminding him how painful is the loss.He wants to be brave not only for him but to give courage and hope to Gundren
Ya, not as good: 6 for both. "Anyone else wanna take a look. I'm curious how this man died." Margret says, wishing she had better training in the healing arts.

(First, survey the scene: Perception for any signs of danger: Nat 20 (23), I can't make this stuff up, see log).
Then, finding no signs of danger, she will examine the body, close up.
