After all, it did little good to let Rabbit proceed ahead when there was a goblin trailing too closely behind, slapping his feet along the ground with every step upon a stony ground... and in tunnels that clearly had an echo problem.

Rabbit is a bit sneaky, but not very perceptive, without a light source she sees in black and white , the incomplete corridor to the east, west, and 2 passageways to the north.
The sound of Krull's footsteps are not quiet, nor Margrets, who, with the crowded area, finds herself still in the pit, no one would notice Droop Cragmaw if, he wasn't right besides them.
KO starts a warning in Krull's head, as a large amber colored, thing, oozes from the eastern pass towards them.
Roll initiative, if you roll above an 18 you may act, Calithor and Margret are surprised and may act on round 2
Droop tenses up for a moment, before simultaneously readying an arrow and backing further into the wall, hoping to make himself just that much smaller and less noticeable to any creature! (Initiative: 10 on roll20)
"What is that?" Rabbit asks as she spurs into action. She quickly says the arcane words to cast [Tooltip Not Found] at it. (Spell Attack: 27, Damage: 27 thunder damage)
She also moves away from the creature, taking a few steps to the east. (moved token on Roll20)
"Let's dance ugly" Krull says spitting at it and hacks with K.O recklessly (first attack 26 to hit (critical hit) for 18 points and second attack 8 to hit for 4) He then uses his might to push aside the monster with his shield (bonus action shove 19 athletics)
Both attacks, looks like they do no damage, and it absorbs the push (rolled a 20 on R/20} from Krulls shield, though it doesn't look like it can be knocked prone.
"Whoa! Uhh. Ugly, I guess?"Droop says, as if answer to Rabbit's question, before loosing arrow after arrow into the bulk of the creature without hope of recovering a one.
Action: Bowtastic Shots at le Slime! (1st Shot: 25 to Hit for 7 Piercing, 2nd Shot: 26(Nat 20) to hit for 9 Piercing) [See Gamelog] (Arrows deducted)
